    Blind box

I'm always so overstimulated when I walk in this store. There's so many people, colors, and the brightest lights I've seen in a store. I commend the employees for working here, because it seems miserable to work in such an overstimulating environment. I really like the products here! They have foreign products that I usually can't find anywhere else except online for a much higher price. I usually tend to get some of the Japanese and Korean skincare for my wife, along with makeup for my daughters. I come in pretty regularly with my daughters. The employees are always nice and outgoing, I can tell they try their best to interact with customers, despite how many there are. Maybe they could benefit from more registers? I'm not sure. They have a birthday blind box, which my daughter got today for her birthday. Pretty neat! It looked to be a hello kitty thing, and it's nice to have a place give birthday gifts like that. I plan on coming back for my wife's birthday as well. Shoot, maybe even mine! I saw some gundam products that fancied my interest. Overall, I always seem to get help when I need it, especially today with the birthday blindbox box system. It's pretty confusing if you don't have an employee help you ou

Recently stopped here with my teen and we had a very nice time. To be honest, it is a touch overwhelming at first. It's hard to figure out what's where, what to look at, and where to find characters. But after a bit we kinda got our bearings. That said there is a LOT of stuff. And stuff is the best way to describe it. I've uploaded pictures of just a SAMPLE of what is in there. If you like cute, kawaii, Japanese style stuff, this is your place. The prices are MUCH better than the other store in the mall but to be fair, the selection is different. The staff was knowledgeable and nice when we stopped in. My teen was looking for something specific and the staff knew what they wanted exactly (sadly out of stock). We'll definitely pop in more often now that we know it's open! It's next to the Men's Macy's by See's.

Since we were at the mall, we dropped by Minisoo again and this time actually bought a couple of things we saw during our initial visit. The store was fairly busy but the two young ladies managing the registers were more than capable to quickly ring up the queue of customers. I like how much Harry Potter, Sanrio and BT21 products this store has, and this time I managed to buy some items for other people but next visit, I'm snagging stuff for myself.

First, let me say that yes, the store is a bit overpriced on some items. The actual stationery is…read moreactually fairly priced. I love the selection; however, I feel like they have limited offerings. The blind boxes are lacking, pokemon is popular, yes. But so is Disney, SailorMoon, Sword Art, Jujutsu Kaisen, etc... don't get me wrong. I do like the ones they have [overall], just would like to see some other options. A lot of these blind boxes are what you could find if you were to go to Japan and visit their gashapon locations. I would LOVE to see an entire row of those machines stocked in there. I'd probably go broke if they did that. As for service. The staff is typically friendly, but I did hear them tell others they couldn't bring drinks or food in there. I get it. They want to protect the goods and let's be honest here folks. People NO LONGER care about others property. People are so careless and have an attitude of, 'Oh, well, too bad' and don't care if they stain something that now has to be written off. You may not like it, but be respectful. It's really not that hard folks. I hope that they change it up a little though and bring in more stuff. I also hope that someday people will understand that this is a collectables store with stationery.

Blatant racism at this store!! Played ape and chimp noises over the speaker very soon after I…read morewalked in and the only other customer walked out. Last week I (a visibly black/poc man) went into the store just to browse around for a gift and at first saw another customer who I thought was the worker. As I walked further into the store this customer left and that's when the worker and I both noticed each other. She was playing some good music at first that I really liked so I noticed when the next song started playing but abruptly stopped. The music cut off only to be replaced by LOUD chimp and monkey noises. At first I was shocked and thought maybe it was a mobile game or a ringtone but the ape noises continued to play for AT LEAST 30 seconds plus there was a distinct pause in the music followed by the sounds. I finally looked back at the employee and when I turned back around the sounds stopped playing after a few seconds only for them to be replaced by music. I walked around the store some more because i genuinely could not register what happened and was trying to make sense of the situation. As I circled around the store though I realized that the noises were STILL playing just very faintly to which they only stopped when I looked back at the worker again. I left the store after telling my friends and partner about it over the phone, but could not focus on anything else because I was just so disgusted and angry. I'm sure no one will get in trouble because people like that tend to stick together but I just had to leave a complaint because it has continued to bother me even after several days. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt but the fact that it played for so long and multiple times leads me to believe it was purposeful, not a badly timed ringtone or game.

Larissa of Papercake Designs was terrific to work with. She did such a fabulous job on or wedding…read moreinvitations, and we got a lot of compliments on them from our guests, that we asked her to create a lot of other things for the event, including menus, escort cards, table cards, welcome sign, party favor jar labels and framed drink, dessert and hors d'oeuvres menus. She was prompt and professional and worked with us to get the exact right design that we wanted for everything. For certain events, you want so much to go right and you want to be able to express your own style and personality in all the details. Larissa's great work allowed us to do this with every design that she worked on with us. We can't recommend her talent and professionalism and the care she puts into her work and into ensuring that it gets delivered on time highly enough! Thank you, Larissa! :)

AMAZING. That's all you need to know. If you're planning an event and need invitations /…read morestationery, stop now and email Larissa. You won't be sorry. If you actually need more information (geez), keep reading. From the beginning, Larissa was the most consistently easy and fun part of our wedding planning process. We contacted her and set up a time to meet - in a cafe in Dogpatch. She snagged us a table big enough to spread out swatches, past invitations so we had something to go on, wording suggestions, etc etc etc. Being the indecisive (and somewhat uncreative) people we are, my then-fiance and I needed all the visuals to give us that spark. Using Larissa's suggestions, we picked a design and colors, but wanted to make it more personal and tailored to our zoo wedding, so we asked her to add some animal silhouettes to an existing design. Back-and-forth emails - our requests, Larissa's suggestions, sample pdf's for us to approve, wording, escort cards, one layer or two?, dinner icons (we had 2 different kinds of chicken, and she was actually able to clearly make distinctions for our wait staff). Every response was prompt, deadlines were met (even when our RSVP list changed multiple times **in the few days before our wedding**), and payment was a breeze. Practically speaking, Larissa also was able to suggest options that would minimize our postage and minimize our aggravation when stuffing our envelopes. And in the end, we got these beautiful, whimsical yet elegant invitations that got so many compliments from our guests ("That is the cutest invitation I've ever seen!"). We. Loved. Them. LOVED.
