I'm always so overstimulated when I walk in this store. There's so many people, colors, and the brightest lights I've seen in a store. I commend the employees for working here, because it seems miserable to work in such an overstimulating environment. I really like the products here! They have foreign products that I usually can't find anywhere else except online for a much higher price. I usually tend to get some of the Japanese and Korean skincare for my wife, along with makeup for my daughters. I come in pretty regularly with my daughters. The employees are always nice and outgoing, I can tell they try their best to interact with customers, despite how many there are. Maybe they could benefit from more registers? I'm not sure. They have a birthday blind box, which my daughter got today for her birthday. Pretty neat! It looked to be a hello kitty thing, and it's nice to have a place give birthday gifts like that. What a really cool store that has a lot of different products across different companies. They carry a lot of small accessories and plushy and toys for kids that are different than other big box stores. We visited a few times and the kids always find something that they like. It is a little pricey here, but I get that some of the stuff is imported and some of the stuff is licensing that you're paying for. The unfortunate constant here is the lack of customer service. Rarely are you greeted and if you have any issue with the purchase at the end, you're made to feel like it's an inconvenience to them to fix the transaction. If you've been to one Miniso, you kind of been to all of them. There really wasn't anything different between this one and the one in the Bay Area. I didn't find anything I was looking for but my girlfriend found a Tamagotchi she had wanted, and later took the battery out of it. I always have a great memorable experience here. I love coming here to chair myself up with looking at all the cute stuff. Of course I found good time up phone key charm and it is a must when I saw it because I have been avoiding it but I feel like I needed something to cheer me up today. It was such a cute keychain where I needed to have it dangling from my phone. Also they did have a Easter hunt hair with looking for a pink card and if you win the pink card then you get a prize. This is located inside the mall where it is next to Macy's and See's Candy. I always have a really nice service here and the workers are friendly and always ready to help. Miniso is dangerously cute. You walk in for one thing.. Maybe a pen or a face mask and suddenly you're holding a basket full of plushies, skincare, and random things you didn't even know you needed. Or I meant my littles needed. (Raising eyebrows now :D) That being said... it's kind of expensive for what it is. Some items feel like they should be a couple bucks cheaper. I've definitely had moments where I looked at the price tag and thought, "Wait, what?" Still, the store is clean, organized, and the aesthetic is very satisfying. Recently stopped here with my teen and we had a very nice time. To be honest, it is a touch overwhelming at first. It's hard to figure out what's where, what to look at, and where to find characters. But after a bit we kinda got our bearings. That said there is a LOT of stuff. And stuff is the best way to describe it. I've uploaded pictures of just a SAMPLE of what is in there. If you like cute, kawaii, Japanese style stuff, this is your place. The prices are MUCH better than the other store in the mall but to be fair, the selection is different. The staff was knowledgeable and nice when we stopped in. My teen was looking for something specific and the staff knew what they wanted exactly (sadly out of stock). Since we were at the mall, we dropped by Minisoo again and this time actually bought a couple of things we saw during our initial visit. The store was fairly busy but the two young ladies managing the registers were more than capable to quickly ring up the queue of customers. I like how much Harry Potter, Sanrio and BT21 products this store has, and this time I managed to buy some items for other people but next visit, I'm snagging stuff for myself. read more

I love lovvveee Miniso, but there is this employee that was just so rude. She had short black hair. I didn't catch her name sadly. My mom and I waited by the cash register to check out, she seemed busy stocking, I didn't wanna bother her. So I decided I'd wait until maybe she'd notice me. After talking with my mom, I eventually had a question so I ended up looking towards her direction and walked to her to ask. As I started asking a question, she interrupted me saying "yea. that's why I'm coming". In such a rude way. It totally caught me off guard but I figured maybe I took it the wrong way. I figured I'd continue to be nice, So I told her "oh no, I was just going to ask if this was self check out" and in a rude tone she said "no. It's not. We've never had those here." I kinda just realize, it's not worth being friendly to someone who's so rude. Maybe she's having a bad day? I don't know. I saw her again on Black Friday and she was raising her voice at people. Idk. I love Miniso but this was a horrible experience. She definitely needs to learn some manners. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. When I heard a MiniSo opened in my location here in Reno, NV, I was excited. I went here very commonly because I love the items they sell at MiniSo. I'm a big pop culture and Japanese culture fan, so I would very commonly pay a visit to browse and occasionally buy items here. But earlier this month, I was stopping by at this store when out of nowhere one of the employees rudely tells me "Hey, you can't be here anymore. You're 68'd from this location. You know what you did." All for what? Just because I come here often? I don't know what I did to warrant this. Staff who work there were not just rude, they also had the audacity to ban me from shopping there because they assumed that I was doing unfortunate things like "trespassing", "loitering" or something among those lines. Which is not even close to true. Even when I was shopping there, the staff working there were pretty rude and had snobby attitude. I could tell from their body language that the people who work here hate their lives. I get it, they work in customer service, it's not pleasant. But that does not make it right for them to not just be rude to guests, but to outright make negative assumptions about me just because I come here often. I am someone who is just minding my own business and I did not appreciate having their staff make negative assumptions about me. And it is a huge shame too, because I was ecstatic about a MiniSo opening up in my hometown. Too bad this location had such abhorrent customer service. Needless to say, I am never shopping here again with a 10-mile pole. Please note that this is someone who does admittedly have some autism/ADHD. One who has admittedly been coming off of a hard loss in my personal life recently. I am aware that sometimes I may come off the wrong way to some people. I apologize if at any point I may have raised the wrong impression to others. In spite of this, I believe it is still warranted for me to stick up for myself here and to warn you guys about my terrible experience with the service here at this location. I am also fully aware that staff has the right to refuse service to anyone. But I as a Yelper also have the right to tell about my horrible shopping experience here on Yelp, so here we are. read more

i'm a regular at miniso, i have family who work at the mall so i frequent the place pretty often. the people are always welcoming and nice, and the store is always pretty neatly kept. today i browsed the store as usual, picked out some blind boxes, and stood in the check out line. it was an unusually long line compared to normal, and this was because of an unruly customer at the counter who was yelling at the worker for an extended time period. i only caught part of the conversation, but he was yelling and asking for the employees name and other personal info, all over a return that could not have been done. i truly feel for the employees at this store, because ive had nothing but positive experience here and seeing how people treat retail workers always makes me feel sorry for them. read more
