The employees are usually very friendly and helpful when getting a car wash but this time was a bit different. Not that the employee was rude, but they were very pushy. I told them i would like a single car wash (the cheapest). They immediately told me about the membership and i listened but then respectfully declined. After i declined, they continued to talk about it and asked me again if i wanted it. I said "no, i don't wash my car enough to make it worth the money, but thank you". They proceeded to ask me one more time and then tell me i was missing out. When i told them i wanted the cheapest one, they said the only way the bugs would come off is if i got the next one up. At this point, i felt bad so i just said "sure". It seems as though they make a commission based off if people sign up for the membership. Which is great, but asking once is probably enough times.

So it's kind of hard to review places like this, but there are certain key factors I look for. Look for friendly staff, clean facility, fully stocked shelves, and clean, accurate and available gas pumps. First off this location is in a good spot. It's right off the highway which is very needed. Parking is ample, and you do have other choices, then gas station food. They recently put in a Mr. Goodcents next-door, and you also have dunkin donuts in there. With that being said, the facility was clean however, there wasn't really much stuff to get excited about. Although the shelves were stocked, the prices weren't listed and I don't like that. If I'm going to buy some thing, I want to know how much it cost before I get up to the register I'm not trying to die a sticker shock when the register goes off. Secondly, I was never greeted by the staff. No hello, may I help you, nothing. With a gas station of this size and with it being a trucker Respite, you simply can't assume that people know what's inside the store and where everything is. so greeting people is a good way to get your customers to be excited about coming in and if they want to know where something is, they can ask you. I wandered around for 10 minutes looking for the bathroom, because I really had to go and when no one acknowledged my presence, I just turned around and walked out. I went into the Mr. Goodcents right next-door and found the bathroom in that facility and used it. As I stated before gas stations are one of the hardest things to review on because you're never supposed to be there long, but you do want to at least be given the few essential treatments so that you'll remember it when you're on the road and need somewhere to stop for gas or a quick bite to eat or just to take a break from being behind the wheel. This gas station will not stick out in my mind simply because it was very mediocre in how it treated its customers and the lack of pricing on products is a dealbreaker for me. Unless I'm in emergency situation for gas, I will not be back.

After asking around for recommendations, I decided to give J&T a try. I've had nothing but great experiences since! I usually wait at the shop while my car is being serviced. My car is always serviced very quickly. I'm usually in and out in under 45 minutes. The shop is small but does offer Wifi and snacks. There's also a small TV in the lobby. The only downside to me is the location. Spring Hill is a bit of a drive for me, but I feel like it's worth it for a shop that I can trust. Overall, I feel like the cost is pretty comparable to other shops in the area.

After weeks of use I have noticed thousands of scratches in the clear coat of my paint. I am hoping a waxing with take them out but they are pretty deep. It may require a pro to buff the paint. I would seriously recommend a brushless wash.
