Home away from home…read more You know how everyone always looks for the Cheers bar? The one where everybody knows your name? Yeah this is that bar! The beer is fantastic. One of the few locations that doesn't concentrate all energies on IPAs. They really like to do broad styles of beers and have some of the best Stouts, Porters, and Brown Ales in town! This place is also constantly having events. You can enjoy the main bar area with the giant group table in the center. Individual private tables along the walls. Great window seating for NOT WINTER. They also have the enclosed alley space, which is often used for private events or open for more comfy seating. Larger parties and events happen in the back parking lot! Perfectly sweet and light. The peach tee kolsch was good too- a nice balance of peach. The cherry limeade wheat was right on the edge of sour. It was good that it was served in a smaller glass so we didn't do too much of it. We also did a shot of the stonebreaker cinnamon whiskey, which was a really nice collab between fringe and another local distillery. Super smooth with an oaky flavor on the background. Absolutely love the dark carnival decor, especially the pinball machines, the giant skeleton and the patio with a garage door interior. Highly highly recommend on every level. You should go!

What an amazing brewer in the KC suburb of Lee's Summit…read more First off the art work is eclectic and many pieces pay homage to the beers on tap. There is a story for much of the art work which I will not do a disservice by trying put it in a review. Go there, see it and ask they'll gladly share the story. Second, INCREDIBLE beers are on tap. I tasted 10 during my visit and every single beer was worth trying. My faves were: Freshly Squeezed Blueberry Lemonade Wheat, Apple Pie Milkshake IPA and Calliope Caramel Cream Ale. Finally, the most important part of the operation is the people. Every single person that was present made me feel welcome and like I was already a part of their community. WOW, I was left feeling like I'd made new friends which I know I did. I travel to KC at least once per year and every year I will return to support this awesome brewery. For a brewery with a maximum occupancy of 83 and an engagement party in the back with 70 people scheduled to attend...you can immediately see the issue. Not to mention the number of kids at this place, now I get it, it was around dinner time it wasn't 9pm however, one of the parties seemed to be a child's birthday party, um what? And why? What an odd place to pick for your sons like 5th birthday (excuse me I am not great at determining ages of snot nosed toddlers nor, do I want them roaming around the brewery I'm at). With all of this being said, the beer was fairly decent and the beef sandwiches were divine. If it was nicer outside, it was still pretty nippy outside and spring hadn't sprung yet, then they have a big patio and outdoor area that could have been utilized. Case in point if your brewery only holds 83 people and you book a 70 person party- number one, just don't. Number two, use business logic and common sense and make it a rule that parties over a certain number have to rent out the space entirely for a private party. And number three, most definitely don't double book your business- heck in this case triple book (with the Saul's pop up bound to bring in a tier of customers you don't normally have) The sour beer was our favorite because, it was only slightly tart and zesty with slight citrus notes, it wasn't too sour and sharp. It was easy to drink which sometimes sour beers are not. I would order this again however, both the IPAS I tried were just okay...the New England one I preferred more, the hop profile was more in line with a slightly piney taste, it was fine.

But you're coming for the beer, and the beer is really great. Limitless has gone from a location in a light office park to its own standalone building, complete with patio and plenty of space. There are generally half a dozen or more of their own craft brews on tap ranging from IPA through porter/stout. You may have even had some of their flagship beers elsewhere, such as JoCo Juice, a hazy IPA or Rolling in the Deep, a double New England IPA. I myself go for malt over hop, so I find their Marzen to be one of my favorite beers. If they have their Mexican lager on tap, then I also suggest sampling that as well. A flight of four runs you $14-ish and is a great value, as the sample sizes give you plenty of opportunity to really get a feel for their offerings. If you find something you really like, then you can take four-packs home to go in cans. Limitless is open almost every day, at least until 7:00 and when the weather is nice, the patio was a must do. There are frequently people playing a board game or just enjoying the space, and while I don't want this to be just another noisy space, they could do with maybe a TV or two more. But that is just me being picky and since they are in the neighborhood, I like visiting whenever I can.

The space is inviting and so cute inside…read more I didn't have any beer because I'm on a no-drinking kick at the moment, but they do have kombucha, which makes one feel like they aren't missing out! They offer board games, food, and live music on weekends. I ordered the charcuterie, and it was a generous portion for the price. Came with three different meats and cheeses, dried apricots, which I love, and this amazing goat cheese dip, along with marinated olives and plenty of crackers. Loved it, and I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more things. The staff is always friendly and seems like they have a lot of fun while they're working!

A nice place on Main Street, they have a nice variety of house brewed beers, a red and white option for wines, indoor corn hole, and a number of screens to watch the games. For food they've got Pizza Tascio pizza by the slice. (Very tasty!) Friendly and knowledgeable staff, it's a nice place to hang out. A little off the beaten path for us, it's still a great find.
