A nasty human being. Nurse Erin Swanson.

Worst of the worst. Husband went for pancreatitis…read more Gastroenterology wouldn't treat him, rather they felt he just needed to rest his stomach. They drugged him up with a Fentanyl patch as well as pills. He was near delirious talking to trash cans. I would tell the nurses not to give him pain meds because he was getting to much. When I would return they had pumped him up with more pain meds. Was sweating to the point of being soaked in his own perspiration. Had a rapid pulse, and severe swelling. Unbeknownst to them my husband had 2 pulmonary embolisms. I jumped all over them and the doctor found the blood clots and transferred my husband to the Twin Cities. If I hadn't called the doctor out. My husband would have died. Both he and I have experienced multiple misdiagnosis as well as judgemental labels attached to us rather than competent medical evaluation. After all if the "provider" can't or won't do a proper evaluation and diagnosis they always fall back on "anxiety" and "mental illness to explain it away. Was in the ER and my husband expressed concern that I was about to have a syncopal episode. Moments later I faint. The nurse yelled at me and told me to get up off the floor, then proceeded to yank me up by my underwear. Nurses in the ER sit on their butts and read charts. They won't come unless you call them. Was seen for a allergic reactions to food. Am clearly having shortness of breath, itching and rash. ER Doctor was dismissive and said I was hot. I was definitely after that statement. Came in . Was given nausea meds that I was told I was likely allergic to. I told the staff 5 times I was having a reaction and they dismissed me. The nurse said no I wasn't, it's impossible and walked out of the room. I went in for my annual physical with my beloved primary doctor if 20 years. When my husband and I tried to open the door the receptionist slammed it in our faces. When we finally got in an sat down I was speaking to my husband, when I was verbally assaulted by another patients husband. The receptionist called for the entire clinic to assist. I was blamed and several weeks later Essentia removed my doctor from my care, while suffering from chronic illness. Sadly, I can tell many more bad and frightening medical issues we have had with Essentia hospital, clinics and staff. DON'T kid yourself. If you make a complaint nothing will come of it. They always side with themselves. They aren't Patient Advocates. They work for the Company and they will never admit when they are wrong. But one day they will stand before a Mighty King and Just God. And they will stand accountable. Went to the ER and was denied entry because our Faith didn't coincide with policy. Went to Urgent Care and was refused care and told to leave. Two weeks later my husband was dead from Covid pneumonia. I know I will die at the hands of a "medical provider" Healthcare has taken over the medical field. It's a death sentence for us all. It's about parading people in a out like cattle. Has nothing to do with caring for the sick. It's about money. If you are sick or having an immediate need, there's isn't a chance you'll get an appointment. They are all booked up with follow ups. No skill, no patience, no time, no exam, no evaluation, no conversation. Doctors don't have the time and frankly I don't think they care. As for their training I think it's a bare minimum and anyone who pays the tuition can be a physician. No such thing as a real doctor ANYMORE.
