On my most recent trip here I walked out with $4 jean shorts, a $12 top, two pairs of casual shorts that came in a set for $6, and a two piece outfit for $29. Finding these items, especially on clearance, is a bit of a dig. It's decently well organized, but the clearance section is definitely a bit of the wild, wild west. Lots of things in this store are the very last one, so if you see something you love but need a different size you're probably out of luck. Definitely worth a stop in if you're in the area.

Although I was given the option of returning the earrings for a refund, Gianna knew how much I loved them and instead, is working closely with their production team in NYC to resize them for a perfect fit! I am a fan of New Balance sneakers. When I returned to Long Island to see my dad, I was up to…read moregetting a new pair of New Balance sneakers. In the Lake Ronkonkoma area; the places that I'd find New Balances in the past such as Kohl's, Dick's Sporting Goods, and the New Balance store by Smith Haven Mall were m.i.a on a good selection of them that were reasonably priced. So on my second full day on Long Island, my dad and I headed out on the Long Island Expressway to its easternmost end at Tanger Outlets to check out the New Balance Store in the eastern quadrant of the outdoor mall.      When I visited on May 16, 2024 at 12:30 pm, there were plenty of parking spaces leading to a short walk in my worn out New Balances to the business. When I walked in I passed the tables and racks of New Balance apparel on the way to the back where I explored the aisles of New Balance sneakers. I found the aisles to be nicely organized and clean. The left half of the aisles merchandised women sneakers where the right were men's. The aisles were further broken down by sneaker type and style. For example, I saw an aisle for training, another for walking, and so on. With this commendable selection were an impressive variety of sizes. Unlike some stores specializing in footwear, there were several sizes of each sneaker on the salesfloor.     The sales associates were helpful and patient. On account of how difficult it was for me to find a size that was comfortable to wear with my Superfeet insoles, it was necessary to go through boxes of sneakers to find the right one. In hindsight I should of taken a photo to show all of the boxes. The Associates gave zero issue as I tried on several pairs. One of the Associates went as far as to measure my feet, although the measurement was incorrect.    Thanks to the abundance of different sizes, I finally found a size 9E that fit comfortably. Complimenting the impressive selection of sneakers were the prices. In my mind, this store is the best deal for New Balance sneakers. After all this is a factory outlet store. On top of the low prices they offered some additional great deals that included 25% off some of the sneakers.    Based on my leading check-in here on May 16, 2024 at 12:30 pm, I can myself returning here when I visit my dad on Long Island. My Dad had even said that he plans to go to the Tanger Outlets more often than Kohl's.

I brought a two piece pantsuit to be hemmed on both the length of pant and length of sleeve. Maria measured me, asked when I needed it by (I said 1 week, she said no problem) had me write my name and number on the receipt and sent me on my way. The day before I was supposed to pick up the outfit (Thursday) I called just to make sure it was going to be ready. Maria answered the phone and quickly said 'it's not ready honey! You are supposed to pickup tomorrow!' And I said yes I am just making sure, I will be there tomorrow. The next day (Friday) I leave work on my lunch break to go pick up my outfit that I needed to wear that night for an event. Pickup attempt #1: When I arrive at her shop she tells me it's not ready. I was disappointed but let it go since nothing was going to change the fact that it wasn't ready and I needed to immediately shift focus on finding something else to wear that night. We left off I would come back the following week to pick it up. Pickup attempt #2: the following week on Wednesday I come to the shop to pick up. Again my outfit is not ready. She brings it over and explains the cut/fabric is tricky and am I sure I want her to hem it. I ask if I should just leave it as is and she assures me she can do it but wanted to talk to me about it first. (My issue here is why didn't she call me to explain this instead of wasting my gas?? Why wasn't this brought up the first time I came to be measured, or the first time I came to pickup?) again I let it go and she assures me it will be ready for Saturday at 12pm sharp. Saturday comes and I have an unexpected urgency where I can't make the 12pm pickup time. I call Maria at 10am to explain I either need to come now or next week. She tells me my outfit is not ready now but to come next week (at this point I'm not sure why my hems STILL aren't done??? The outfit should be ready to go at this point not holding off until an hour before I'm supposed to pickup????) Pickup Attempt #3: the following week on Thursday I arrive to the shop to pickup. She looks at me cheerful and asks what I need. When I explain im picking up the two piece pantsuit her face falls... "No. Not ready". Now I'm angry. What do you mean it's not ready?? She starts saying that I was supposed to call her prior to picking up. That it's all measured and ready to be run through the machine. I said I know it's ready to be run through the machine it's been ready to be hemmed since I dropped it off 3 weeks ago! If it wasn't going to be ready why haven't you called me any of these times to let me know before I waste my gas driving here?? This is my third time driving here for something that's not ready, this is not right! She just looks at me without saying a word and then finally asks if I want to take the clothing or I can come back in one hour to pick them up. I inform her I'm not coming back AGAIN and that I will just take my clothing as is. Maria does good work but I believe there is a series lack of organization and communication. It's not professional. A customer should never show up 3 times without a single phone call expressing an issue with commitment dates. My clothing seemed to be treated sub par to the other gowns that kept getting prioritized ahead of my outfit. No other time did I have to 'call first' before she would start working on my item. Most disappointing of all was not once did she apologize to me for wasting my gas, taking time away from work, or missing the original deadline where I had to find a new outfit to wear hours before the event I had! Maybe the one pantsuit was chump change to her but the years worth of business I would have continued to use her for should matter. I will not be back.
