Scheduled an appt with this office weeks in advance. Received numerous appt reminders via text and email which was quite annoying. Completed paperwork in advance. Arrived early for my appointment. Waited in the lobby with no one else for 30 mins and only after I asked if it was customary to wait this long for an appt, the front desk lady finally tried to take me to the back. I refused as I was uncertain if the chair time would be longer. My only recommendation is to respect people's time! My appt was preset in advance and I still had to wait an extended period of time which is unacceptable. You don't know if I was on my lunch break or whatever and no one cared to explain the wait time as if it was normal. I decided to cancel the appt and any future appts. read more

I love everything about this place , they literally explain every thing to you from the procedure on down to payments it's no surprises , I fell asleep a few times cause the chair had heat and massages on it read more

Meet the Business Owner: Dr. Field H.

Dr. Field Harrison is passionate about taking people out of pain. It could be dental pain, it could be spiritual pain, or mental pain, or loss of dignity pain, or financial pain. Even before he graduated from dental school, he was traveling to Romania with other doctors and dentists to end a village's suffering with tooth and jaw pain. He spent many dental school weekends assisting other dentists in a free south Dallas clinic. He founded MINT dentistry with the conviction that outstanding dental care should be affordable to everyone. He's a devout Christian who welcomes doctors of all faiths to MINT. He provides free dental care to soldiers who've suffered grievous tooth and jaw injuries in combat. He and his wife Sabrina privately assist employees in dire financial need. He's an in-demand speaker on entrepreneurship, leadership and faith. Many organizations are the beneficiary of the Harrisons' generosity.

Scheduled for multiple extractions and then the problems hit. I was talked over yelled at and talked down to. I didn't know this but Louisiana Dental has a corporate office and if they don't know what horrible hiring choices were made unless someone tells them. Was told it would take about a week or more to get a refund for my credit card payment. Also they would not put it back on my card. Very difficult people. Days later and my gums have not healed from the impression trays. This woman literally forced them in my mouth let the paste stiffen pulls us out meanwhile I am about jumping out the chair and admits yes that was too small I have to do it again. I literally have a 1" flap of skin on my gums on the backside of my teeth. When I told them I was glad there are forums we can speak our minds so other people don't make the same mistakes I was encouraged to exercise that right, so here I am telling anyone who wants read about it. "You need to wear a mask and we need to see your insurance card" was the opening line when I…read morearrived for my appointment to address an acute eye injury. This was from the Oompa Loompa receptionist with the personality of two grit sandpaper. My response to this was "I hope y'all are as eager to look at my eye as you are my wallet" Subsequently the rest of the visit was not the most pleasant, the assistant and doctor spent more time typing on the computer than actually providing patient care. The eye pain relief was temporary, about 20 minutes and nothing was dispensed to mimick the effects of the pain relieving eye drops. So I suffered the rest of the day with terrible episodes of pain. Upon departing the office, I perused through two papers which were handed to me, only to discover a hand written sticky note on the second page which stated "this guy was very rude when he came in". Talk about a total lack of self awareness, the receptionists attitude and opening line when I arrived was exactly what she claimed my response to her was - rude. She set the tone of the visit and the staff -thanks to her note - followed suit. I sought a second opinion the next day with a visit to a different doctor. And was treated with empathy and professionalism. I wouldn't return to this Eye Care and Surgery Center muppet fest if I had a fork impaled in my eye.
