All that was missing was the glass covering over the compass that sits at the base. We can live with that. This shop is located just behind the La Cigale markets, with parking onsite. I don't like this store plainly because I don't see the point of people dropping ridiculously large amounts of money on pots and pans and cutlery sets when there are people starving in the world. If you are into that extravagant sort of spending, then Galtons would be your sort of place. There's no denying its a beautiful store with some really beautiful things. The atmosphere just isn't that nice. If you're not a certain 'type' of person you're not really made to feel all that welcome.

But other than this odd decorative bunny, there is a nice eclectic mix of quirky and interesting paper weights, vases, candle stands, sculptures and more, all of which would make great house-warming or wedding gifts. Note that they do have quite a strictly enforced 'no photography' rule, which I got reminded politely of by the shop assistant when I got my phone out to write something down (maybe I look like one of those European-design-stealing types, who knows).

On the ground level is the Citta Design shop and then if you go upstairs you'll find the Collected. What a find it is! I wanted so much in the shop. And the really good part is there was some really nice stuff for around $20 or less such as dinner plates, various knick knacks, candles and other stuff made of awesome. There was so much I wanted to purchase. So once I have a bit more cash in the bank, I will definitely be back (come on pay day)!

Everything in Harrowset is gorgeous and the quality is undeniable. This fine quality does mean that most of what Harrowset Hall stocks is quite pricey, but boy is it worth it! Your house would be the envy of all your friends and just by purchasing items from this store you feel better. I know when I bought a classic lace and embroidered nightgown from Harrowset I felt like a million dollars - I felt like a 'real lady'.
