Had a great experience on the initial call.....Second call ended with a text message from the owner, "Hey bozo. I never accepted the job; so take your arrogant ego and stick it up your a**." I asked him not to speak to me that way, and that I only decided not to hire him because he was having trouble keeping our specifics straight. He then text me again. "F*** off pal, I don't deal with jerks." I asked that he stop harassing me at this point and he replied with "Lose my number jerk. You're obviously harassing me." I mean.....speechless.....at a complete loss. I had to tell Mike at MovesMadeEasy 916.225.5689 multiple times what my situation was....simple things.....current town, where were headed, day, time.....but when he tried to recap, everything was wrong. From the town I lived in - to the amount of rooms and stories of the house - to the amount of time he said it would take. Eventually, my confidence in his ability to execute a smooth move was gone. Only taking cash, continually stating that he was too busy to keep things straight (in real time, like to recall the beginning of the conversation 2 minutes into the conversation,) the ridiculously unprofessional and beligerent text messages..... PROCEED with caution. Mike is aggressive and very easily agitated. I have never been so poorly treated or so disrespected. This is the first review I have ever written. Best of Luck, Zr W

First, what an inconvenience. Second, what century are we in? This should have been my first clue, that this was going to be a bad deal. A few weeks before our move, we spoke to "Mike" (the owner) and he gave us a quote for $1,700 ($2,100 if they packed for us). The night before the move, he comes to "check things out" and lets us know that - oh, by the way, I misquoted you and the move will actually cost $2,100. I don't know if he expected us to say "oh ok, cool" or what, but when we questioned him, he said he made a mistake and miscalculated (no apologies by the way on his error). Ok, we weren't happy about that, but with our place already packed, what were we supposed to do? We were moving 3 1/2 hours away early the next morning - hardly enough time to get a new moving company. The next day (the day of the move), we received a text from him at 6:56 am, (they were supposed to arrive at 7 am) saying he was "waiting for the truck. Leasing agency had a delay" and that he was "shooting for 8 am". At 20 minutes before 8 am, he sends another text saying that the "truck reservation was changed" and that now he was "forced to pick up at another location" (at least another hour delay). Again, what other choice did we have? While we get that things happen that we can't control, this guy never made any apologies and just had a bad attitude. When we responded to his text with a "wow" - he immediately called and said "I don't know how to process this 'wow' text message you just sent. I don't appreciate your attitude. I don't need this. Find someone else" and hung up. We were speechless. Who does that?! Let's assume for one second, that we were the worst customers that ever walked this earth - no REPUTABLE company would ever treat customers that way - leave them to hang dry like that. We had every right to be upset about this, but we had no time for that - we had to start making calls. We called two companies and one of them was able to move us the same day, basically charging us the same as Mike was charging us. Which for a same-day move, we were willing to pay an extra charge. It all worked out at the end but consider yourself warned
