When the Poole Aquarium and model train exhibition closed many locals were a bit dubious as to what would take their place. What arrived was mint. Mint is a café bar spread across two levels the ground floor being more up tempo and containing the reasonably sized dance floor and the upstairs housing a more chilled out Moroccan themed lounging area and the communal toilets.
The décor is lovely and there is a good variety of seating, however this said it does get busy at weekends so expect a short wait for the bar.
Mint was recently taken over and is now under new management and prices have dropped dramatically where as it used to be around £3.50 a drink they now have plenty of offers such as £1.50 all drinks and free shots etc (and we all know in this time at the moment the savings help)
The music is modern with guest DJ's and special guest its best to check the website to see what's going on and when.
Opening is to around 4am and there is a taxi rank right outside for those in need of a ride home.
