My names Sean, I'm nearly 30 and I am a big kid. This place was frickin fun, sure we'd been wine tasting around Clare for the day and this was our final stop on the way out. We were lucky to land on a special day so there was an extra challenge to do inside of the maze. AND WE HAD SO MUCH FUN. We totally got lost on purpose, and explored around, the maze is deceptively large, more corridors and dead ends than you'd expect. Though this is a beautiful setting, and a well maintained garden area, it is effectively a maze and a morning/afternoon tea area with a few large chess sets. All in all a great stop off if you're touring the Clare valley, but at $12 entry for an adult, it feels much too steep for what is an hours relaxed entertainment. They have been inventive in their repairs to the maze where old hedges have started to die off. There is also a gnome sanctuary to look at on completing the maze. read more

The maze was a must for a 6 year old - he thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was most suitable for the age group with its many twists, turns, dead ends, models and figures including Alice's Tea Party and finishing with a fairy fountain if you could find the way. Great fun. read more
