THIS REVIEW IS FOR 4707 Bell location and 35th W Peoria location but they have no listing but same…read morecompany. UPDATE 06/01/2026 @ Bottom Candid review~utterly disappointing. Anyone who follows my reviews know I try to be as fair as I possibly can, always. I have been using MYDRNOW since Oct. 2025 and they were great! Specifically Terri C. and her staff. It is also walking distance from my gym, P.O. Box & hair salon. On May 11th I was scheduled for an evening appointment. Upon arrival I was greeted by a new receptionist who told me my Nurse Practitioner Terri was no longer there and left days before. I was brought in for BP and Weight and a new Nurses assistant greeted me there (concerns growing). I was led into an exam room and waited 5-10 minutes (typical, all good). Enter Fahar A. New Nurse practitioner I'd never seen. I quickly inquired about Terri and why I was not informed before coming. His statement was "I've got problems too....I was just told today I was coming here to handle Terri's caseload" Why he told me this I have no clue, not my problem. Apparently I was wrong. Fahar informed me that I need to see a specialist before continuing on my existing medication (which is a grand total of 1). I was given a bridge prescription until May 31st as that was the first time the referral had availability for visit (online). I filled my partial script and waited until that day (this past Saturday May 30th, 2 days ago). I had video call with Krystle R. During our call she informed me because it was the weekend they could not fill my prescription and I would need to see another specialist as she couldn't prescribe?? Getting lost? I waited for next video appointment with Cara H. June 1st.... To start she was late for our call which is understandable but courtesy was nowhere in site. Even my last appointment went over or any acknowledgment. Her first conversation point was she had researched me and I have had 5 different pharmacies in a short amount of time. As a consultant I work in different part of Az based on days sometimes weeks. I have my Single prescription filled where it makes sense to my given client/work location as well as inventory at the pharmacy. I did ask Cara H. If there were any duplicate prescriptions requested ever or she could see "Dr. Shopping" she said no. Cara informed me she would not prescribe my medication and she referred me to yet another specialist?? So in closing I now after talking to a very nice lady Angelica at MYDRNOW phone support I need to call a referral company for appointment?? That's 1 in person appointment, 2 video call appointments and now a new referral company. This company has SERIOUS internal communication problems or they like generating fees for bogus appointments to generate fees. Being clear they are either trying to generate "unnecessary fees" or their Right Hand doesn't know what their Left hand is doing?? Either way they are a company to steer clear of and please do share this information. I can't prove which it is but will be looking into them with a microscope and will update to this contribution asap. UPDATE; 06/01/2026 As promised I would update. I reached out to the 3rd Specialist referral after my initial post. The organization requires a 3 hour in person appointment covering 3 health/wellness areas. One of the areas is Physical?? I take very good care of myself, no drinking, smoking and Daily exercise. Considering I have been in to see MYDRNOW for 9 months straight where blood was taken multiple times and vitals on every visit, why would this be necessary of they are doing the job my insurance is paying for already. I'm definitely changing providers today but will continue to investigate why they are sending referrals like they are needed 4 times now.. Jett~

I have highly recommended MY DR NOW in the past, but I just have to do it again. My husband and I…read morescheduled our wellness exams at the beginning of the year for March. We were told the required blood test information had been submitted and we could just drop in a week or so before for the blood draw. OK. Well, we dropped in...Zharia, the receptionist, immediately checked us in, had us do the required paperwork online, and we were swept to the back office, where Sebastian, who is an absolute pro, did the usual checks and then did the blood draw. Here's the thing. I am always a difficult blood draw and I always expect to be stuck a few times. But not with Sebastian! Another great experience and another reason I highly recommend MY DR NOW!

If it is your first visit and you are an adoptive parent or guardian you must have your paperwork with you. I had just been the the ER for another one and they required the paperwork to, but not being to Banner they don't have it. The office girl really tiptoed around me and felt bad me having to run home first to get it. I understood as there is a lot going on in the world with families and it is important. It is her job. I was very kind about it. I ran back really fast and came back. Our visitor paperwork had already been filled out, so were taken back right away. PA John was super kind and friendly. We were in and out in a jiffy. I hope I never have to, but would gladly come back if we need to.

I have discovered that Banner Urgent Care is designed for very low level medical intervention. I…read morehesitate to even state "acute care". These facilities are not really equipped for any level of treatment beyond cold/flu, strains/sprains, or anything requiring more than aspirin or ibuprofen. Much like a same day clinic but much more expensive. I went there to discuss fatigue, headache, muscle/joint pain. I was given an injection of Toradol (NSAID) and recommended to follow-up with PCP if symptoms persisted. Ended up in ER two days later from elevated glucose and lactic acidosis. Just be ready for a long wait UNLESS you make an appointment online.

Then I have to wait in the back to be seen, so that's another 20-30 mins and then to get discharged it's another 20-30 mins. Staff is nice, but why have a reservation if you still have to wait as if you are a walk-in. My name has been on the waiting list for the entire hour and now that I'm number 1, they have called 3 people that aren't on the list! Update: I was pulled back an hour and 10 mins after my scheduled appt! The screen where the waiting list shows doesn't accurately update, so no need to look at that! The lady in the front was rude and had no empathy for my time, called herself getting an attitude, but had she answered my first initial question correctly (which was, does that waiting list update correctly, because I have been number 1 for 45 mins and everyone is getting called before me! She said he was updating) and said no, that list needs to be fixed as it doesn't provide accurate info, I would have never had to go ask why I wasn't getting called again, for a second time! Another lady came and was professional, asked what was wrong, explained it correctly, and handled the situation correctly!

My first visit back here after almost 2 years was, painful for me (thanks COVID) but in reality…read morepainless. I arrived shortly after 8 AM. Checked in, saw the sign for COVID symptoms & said "ALL OF THESE. I HAVE ALL OF THESE!" Taken to the back. Why does no one introduce themself? I don't care if you have a name tag on. Introduce yourself. Tell me who you are. Tell me what you are doing. So much is lost these days & I cannot wrap my head around this. It takes two seconds to introduce yourself. They of course needed to do blood pressure. It's not rational, to me, EVER, to do an automatic blood pressure machine when someone is coughing. The person cannot only 'NOT stay still but can't stay quiet. You know, that whole pesky coughing business. I'm legitimately unable to breathe with some of the coughing so this automated cuff is tightening to the point of pain & I can't feel my fingers. So, I ripped it off & said why. There was some argument that it was necessary & that another cuff could be placed on my forearm. No! What the hell? Why would you think there would be a different result? I said, you can do it manually or not at all. I'm not going to subject myself to additional pain & discomfort because you want to use an automated way. Ultimately, the manual method was done. Quick swab up the nose for COVID & flu test. COVID positive. Here is a prescription for anti-viral, (yep! I sure did require them), cough medicine, & inhaler. "Now, get our." LOL. Back the following Monday after anti-virals complete because of a cough that would not go away. Went in after 10 AM. Wildly different experience. Much longer wait time & a much saltier nurse/nurse assistant/technician. Honestly, I realize I have no idea what their position is, because again, she couldn't be bothered to tell me who she was. I believe her name may have been Courtney. I can't remember, I saw her name tag briefly, but again, she couldn't be bothered to introduce herself. She did the manual blood pressure, I suspect because of a note left from the previous person. Now, she didn't bother to support my arm & strangely enough I do have training in this area because once upon a time, I was a medical assistant. Supporting the arm can make a difference but it simply demonstrated her lack of indifference. Vitals done, "nurse practitioner will be in," & our the door. Waited for 10+ mins & walked out, said, "since I'm waiting, can I please get a COVID test?" I would have thought that would have been done automatically to confirm I was indeed COVID negative. This was apparently offensive to Courtney or whatever her name was because she came in, didn't wash her hands, put gloves on, shoved, yes shoved, very aggressively the swab into one nostril, striking maxilla because of how aggressive she was, & then left. Didn't swab both sides as had been done previously. Nurse practitioner came in. Diagnosed with whooping cough (pertussis), medicine prescribed, & out the door. I had to email several hours later asking for the COVID result because each time I looked it still said processing. This didn't make sense why in the week before the result was done in 10-15 mins but now was several hours. Finally, results done & COVID negative. Interesting how in less than a week, a review can change so drastically. The reality is patient care/bed side manner, customer service makes a huge difference. One person really can make a huge difference. If an organization is willing to hire or leave one employee with a negative attitude unchecked, then it begs the question of how many more & whats the mórale in the organization? I don't know the answers but what I know is, I don't appreciate having a nasal swab shoved aggressively into a nostril that it strikes bone, or that my arm wasn't supported during the blood pressure check. Most importantly, to me, the failure to identify & introduce yourself. It's such a simple thing. Why is it not being done??

I saw kucinski for another reason and he was great as well. The first primary care to actually discuss what he thought about my medications. Great information to have. He really gave me a feel for his style of care. Hands on. The whole staff is wonderful. The office is spotless. I have yet to run into another patient but I hear them being put in rooms. There is little to no wait to be seen. Oh! And if I call I get an aooontment same or next day, it's awesome! This set up is what we need more of. No more waiting for two months for an appointment. I actually look forward to going there, which feels odd for a doctors office

Thank you Lord for this beautiful day, I give thanks for your blessings. My angel woke sick today,…read moregive me the strength to hold and care for him through your glory and grace. Amen! As parents we have to choose. We have to make choices, those hard ones? Is it worth going to the doctor? It's just a fever! Let them sleep it off. Here's my story of why not to ignore a fever. Why not ignore a fever? A few years back I lost one of my sisters to the flu. It all started with a fever. So when any of my children, friends and families children we never mess around with a fever. The fever tells us "hey you, something is wrong here!" Take care of this please?! That's exactly while we are sitting here in the car waiting for further instructions on how to get checked in and all here at Urgent Care. Now that we are sitting in a waiting room, one other patient sits across from us. Beware with the new COVID rules going to the emergency room has a whole new set of rules. Usually, they only want the patient to be seen, even if they are a child. I have no time for this rule. I understand that we are trying to contain a virus and one never knows the diagnosis but what's it gonna hurt to have mama holding your hand. The nurse felt the same way and allowed me to accompany my son in the room in the back. All you need is the mask, but if you forget the ER staff has you. When you get sick all you want is mama? Connor kept looking back as he coughed from that cold bed. They stick him with needles to ensure that he's healthy. Tube after colorful tubes of his red blood flow out flooding the tube. He's such a trooper, not even screaming or crying. I can see it in his eyes, that glazed over look. He's so tired and can not breath with all that congestion. He wishes that he was able to cough it all up. When we came to the urgent care they are super through and asked Connor his level of pain. They put him on a sedative drip so that he could get comfortable. They informed me that since he came in with a 109 fever, he will not leave until it breaks. I agreed and left his health in their hands. As the nurses worked on us and other patients we were asked on numerous occasions if we were comfortable. The room that we were in had a bed that Connor relaxed in and I sat right next to the bed holding his hand. Remembering back when they were so young, I get lost in the memories as I sit here in silence. The room has a television and great privacy. As we wait I dozed off next to Connor. The doctor came back in what seemed such a short amount of time, or so it seemed. Needing that short nap after being up all night with Connor I feel fresh and awake now. Just need coffee. That's later back to Connor. Breaking the fever is key. The staff informed me that since it is so high, they need to put him in an ice bath. Temperatures that high can cause brain damage of not broken. The Tylenol and ibuprofen mix did not work, only bring it down a few degrees. Connor was put in an ice bath being dipped for five minutes in and then five minutes out for about thirty minutes. After attending and aiding the nurses that the color came back to Connor. He was put back in the bed in some fresh hospital digs with the drip medication put back into his veins. One can never know what's going to happen. It may seem such minimal impact that was done for Connor; he's healthy and smiling now. The fever is not all gone, but when we left it was 101. Instructions were given to me for continued home care. I was told they would call my phone and follow up with us. Now that we're home, the instructions that I was given were easy to follow. Any concerns that arise I was told to return immediately to the urgent care. I feel that the staffs kindness was one of the best blessings one can have. They eased my nerves and kept me calm. Yes us mamas tend to get emotional when our kids are sick. They sent the prescriptions to a local pharmacy. All this work was much appreciated. Knowing that this is just their job. Health care individuals put their lives in jeopardy every moment to celebrate your health and happiness. Much love to all the happiness and stillness that you were able to give my angel. Sometimes it feels that we continue to fail, putting off if the fever is just a wonderful little nothing. In the eyes of our children we are super hero's. Trust your instincts and know that you can do it! For our children their is nothing that we will not do. For you are brave, strong, and smart!

I wish zero stars was an option…read more I took my daughter here for a routine sports physical, expecting what should have been a quick, straightforward, and professional visit. Unfortunately, it turned into an incredibly frustrating experience. Instead of receiving a simple sports physical, we were given the runaround due to inaccurate testing that was administered by their staff. The unnecessary confusion and lack of clear communication made what should have been a 15-minute appointment far more stressful than it needed to be. Resulting in an additional appointment that still had inaccurate findings. The NP lacked a clear understanding of what the requirements are for a physical. Specifically on when an athlete would need a restriction and what the cut off limits are to warrant that requirement. The entire experience lacked the level of professionalism, competence, and attention to detail that I expect from a medical office. Front desk had to keep leaving to call and check with a "manager" about how to handle things due to payment issues and refunds. A routine sports physical should be just that routine. Instead, we left questioning the accuracy of the care we received and feeling completely dissatisfied with how the situation was handled. I would not recommend this urgent care for something as basic as a sports physical. I have been getting sports physicals for well over a decade for my kids. I highly recommend going elsewhere. I sincerely hope they improve their training, communication, and quality of care so that other families don't have to go through the same experience.
