They always cancel my appointments at the last minute and I am left scrambling to find a new one.

I've visited this minute clinic 4+ times in the last 7 years, good experiences every time. I've had my kids checked here, & myself for normal cold, flu, secondary infection stuff. If you reserve your wait time online, then check in when you get there, you will be seen in a normal amount of time. A lot of reviews are bad because people don't expect to wait for healthcare & they don't want to pay normal rates for it... $70-$99 without insurance is normal. Update - I went in today 3/28, the Minute Clinic portion is beautifully remodeled, I saw two providers, was called in at my appointment time, received excellent care, will be back again if needed! read more

I had an appointment scheduled for something serious that needed a quick treatment. I don't have time to schedule and wait a month to see my PCP. When I arrived, I found that they canceled my appointment because I did not respond to a text they sent me 20 minutes prior to my appointment. I did not respond because I WAS DRIVING!!!!! I had already filled out my pre-check-in and everything. Also, nobody was in the lobby. I would never recommend this place to anybody. What was I even thinking?! read more

Checked in as a walk-in on the little station and it said 160 or so minutes !!!! So left for an hour and came back and waited passed the time listed on the screen. The lady said oh you were not here at 1045 when I called you. 1045 is right after we left originally. She says next time check in online for an appointment that will be better. Why have a screen telling us how much time it will be too see us and not go by that? By the way we had to wait again since essentially we were being bumped and she was seeing other patients. Makes no sense. By the way, the app is also very frustrating to set up as well. I will try later. Follow up, the lady who saw my son was very caring and kind. I know it's not her fault...CVS programmers need to consult with customers to work out the bugs. read more

If you can go anywhere else, please go. I scheduled a test at this minute clinic, after I checked in the I was seen into a room. At this time I was advise that the test will cost $70.00. Which was not stated on the website or any previous communication from Minute Clinic. I ask the nurse why and that I have insurance. The LPN seemed uncaring and was bothered by me asking question. The LPN then asked me to leave.. Do not go to this place the service is terrible. read more

My friend went to this clinic because she had been sick for two weeks. She was starting to have trouble breathing as well as ear pain. They quoted her $79-$99 telling her the higher price is if she gets any testing done. 1) They merely took her vitals and still charged her $99. 2) The doctor prescribed her an antibiotic telling her it would help her cough and ear pain. It did neither. 3) When her breathing got worse she tried calling the clinic but got the run around with a call center. Eventually someone told her they weren't allowed to give the direct number to the clinic but that they would pass along the message. No one called until they were closing. 4) She went in to speak to someone and they told her she would have to pay to be seen again. Just like the other review, they take advantage of people who don't have insurance! I suggest going to 59th Ave and Greenway to the Ouch urgent care. Those people are great! read more

Great experience. Registered online. The wait wasn't too bad when I got there, about 30 minutes. Emily Orr the nurse practitioner here was wonderful. I called my insurance ahead just make sure they took it, they did. 25$ boom. So convenient and awesome!!! read more

This place is a joke. Went in sick and in need of antibiotics for an upper respiratory problem. The nurse (Christina) was clueless and said I think it's a virus. I have the very same problem every year & I know with 100% certainty when I need antibiotics. She offered an inhaler & cough medicine, both of which are useless to me. My son went to this Minute Clinic for a flu shot which costs $20 without insurance. He showed them our insurance card which they accepted and told him there would be no charge. One side of our insurance card was for medical and the other side was for our dental coverage. They proceeded to bill our dental insurance company for the flu vaccine which was obviously denied. Then they billed us $45 stating our insurance company did not cover the vaccine. There was a phone number on the bill for any questions. I have called this number multiple times and have left it on hold for hours and nobody ever answers. In the meantime, they sent the bill to a collection agency. This was all because of their error. It is not the amount of the bill (although they more than doubled the quoted cost)--it's now the principal. I still only have the fake number they provide on the bill and on the notice from the collection agency. Again, I have been on hold for hours with no response. I work in healthcare and will make sure to tell all our patients to avoid the Minute Clinics due to shoddy and fraudulent billing practices. They should be reported to the Joint Commission.and the Better Business Bureau. read more

Don't bother. You log in online ahead of time and show up at you scheduled appointment time and still have to wait an hour before being seen before they tell you they don't take your insurance after all. read more

I took my daughter there because I thought she had strep throat. Registering online, her appointment was at 1215. We got there early as requested and the wait time sign said 25 minutes. One person was ahead of us. The nurse decided to go to lunch, moving both of your wait times to an additional hour even though her lunch time is not supposed to be until 130. I asked the cashier up front about this and he got the manager. She was rude and of no help saying that "your appointment is just an approximation". Since we arrived at 12 and the nurse changed the wait time sign at 1245 (already being 30 minutes behind), that "approximation" then became approximately 2 hours off. The fact that the nurse/physician can leave to lunch early, changing the wait times when patients are checked in and have been waiting is beyond ridiculous. Even the cashiers thought the situation was wrong and that she should not have been allowed to go to lunch early, but apparently management is ok with it. We ended up going to Urgent Care, which is right behind this CVS. We were seen in about a 15 minute wait time. I won't go back to CVS. Urgent Care was much better. read more

Let's talk about Minute Clinic period. Try calling a facility to see if they have to vaccines that you need, impossible. The idiotic company shuttles you through one automated system after another until, if you're lucky, you can speak to a human being, at a call facility that has no idea if the clinic you want to visit has the item in stock. The fact is you can not call a local facility to see if they can help you, you must drive there. In my case i would've had to drive there to find out they don't carry the vaccine I needed. When a company isn't intelligent enough to be able to provide such a basic service as a phone call, they aren't getting my business or money. read more

This place SUCKS!!! I waited 2 hours when the summarized waiting time said 0 minutes and that I was up next. Both doctors would call people who would just show up and sign in, waiting only about 5 minutes the most. I ended up leaving just because there was no one to complain to. DONT GO HERE. I used their online check-in to avoid waiting once I arrived. It quoted 35 minutes and said to arrive 10 minutes early to finish filling out my information. I still ended up waiting 35 minutes to be seen. What a waste of time. What's the point of online early check in? read more

This location is awful. Both times I've been here the wait is unnecessarily long. The second visit I actually had an appointment, and still continued to wait 40 minutes past the set appointment time. If the service can't be sped up, maybe consider hiring more staff? There are 2 rooms for a reason read more
