As someone with two degrees in microbiology and a college professor, I do not appreciate being talked down to and dismissed. The then walks away and the same female person at the office manager while I'm waiting for my appointment at 4: I am still not seen people that came way after me have been seen and gone so I went up to the original person that signed me up and she says there's people ahead of you. You just gotta wait. I said I want all my paperwork back that I'm leaving they printed out me a copy I said no that's not good enough and I want my original paperwork that I just gave you with my signature on it. She said no I can't have it then another person came over and said no, you can give it back They gave me back my paperwork on my way out. I see the manager. I tell him what happened. He doesn't even get off the phone he says I'm sorry there's nothing I can do. I said great. My time isn't worth anything. I guess you could at least off the phone and questions about It's the most unprofessional and doctors office I've ever seen. I will never go back and I do highly recommend nobody ever goes to that office again if that's the way they treat you in the waiting room. I can't imagine what kind of service the cardiologist gives without a doubt the worst doctors office I've ever been in.

She misdiagnosed a chest and nasal infection and was adamant about NOT prescribing antibiotics, cough meds or nasal spray. She also said she would not give a doctors note for work without taking the COVID test. And said that's not how medicine works. This is the worst experience I even had in any Northwell Facility. The receptionist was rude and would not manually enter in the ins information when asked because I was sick. Then charged me 2xs for the service and told me to "come forward" so she could reverse the double charge. Day 2: my sister who received the antibiotics from a different PA in the same facility on the same day is feeling 100 times better. Being a good dr doesn't mean being straight from text book, every body: patient is different, next time u need to listen a bit more to ur patient, I am damn near 40 years old and know MY body, I wasn't asking for Codeine I was simple asking for antibiotics because I knew that's what I needed, I have a job too to attend to as a medical professional. And working and having great ins means you can get a second option and get the prescriptions and doctors care you need. Lesson learned for me as well. I will not go to this urgent care and if this PA ever turns doctor I would never go or recommend her to anyone. A PA lesson hopefully learned.

I came in at 11 AM and was seen within maybe 2 mins. I liked the nursing staff, but I always like the nursing staff at City MD. The doctor on the other hand, he was a professional and knew his stuff for the most part. I was, however, annoyed with his recommendations for me to feel better. He told me that although the test was negative all my symptoms pointed to the flu, but with the medication to help I should be okay within 2 days and no longer contagious after my fever broke. I went to work after the two days and my fever did break, at 2 AM when I needed to wake up for work at 5 AM, so I do not believe I was ready to go back to work that early especially when you are shaking and shivering from a fever up until what some can consider the last moments of their sick time before going back to work. I also had some difficulty with my prescription being changed from CVS to Walgreens, but that falls on both myself as well as City MD with the miscommunication. I was assisted right away in resolving that concern. Overall I had a positive experience here. It was not my best moments at a City MD, but it got the job done.
