Why 5 stars? Because this will be my go-to walk-in clinic from now on…read more --- --- --- I recently came down with some kind of gnarly illness where I was feverish for several days. I took an out-home Covid test and it was negative. I assumed it was strep, which requires antibiotics, so I wanted to go get tested. My wife had a good experience here recently, so I figured I would try it out. I went online to reserve a time and there was something available 20 minutes from when I was looking. I checked out the GPS and it was going to take me 17 minutes to arrive. Perfect. My main reason for the 5-star review here is that they do not require patients to wear masks. It's not that wearing a mask for a half hour is the end of the world, it's more that I hate participating in the stupidity of something that accomplishes nothing other than extend society's exuberant anxiety. Wear one if you want, but Brazos not requiring them is why they gained a fan in me. My co-pay was $75, which I thought was a little steep. I tested negative for strep and then it was suggested I test for the flu. That came back positive. And when I left, I assumed I'd owe more, but nope! That $75 suddenly didn't seem so steep as it was all-inclusive, at least for what I received. See ya next time Brazos, though I hope it's not for a while. The flu was intense enough to last me for the rest of the year.

On Nov 4, 2022, my daughter had a febrile seizure. We immediately attempted to bring her to the hospital and neurologist. The emergency room said we may have to stay the night (it's 7 AM) before we get a room. We were not a priority and RSV had them overwhelmed. We did some digging and pediatric neurologists also wouldn't schedule us for an appt. Febrile (fever) seizures are common after Covid, as children weren't exposed to viruses and building immunity. The pediatric neurologist recommend we see our daughter's PCP (evidence attached). We try to schedule with Dr. Bond. She has a 7 week wait! We request an emergency appt. We arrive the next day and I relay the situation to Ms. Bond. I feel bad she's meeting us at 11:30, presumably her lunch. I explain, we're relieved to find we didn't require emergency care, especially as our emergency room deductible is $5,000. But I'm hoping she understands, as a new doctor, the importance of her being available for these types of emergencies, otherwise, her inability to be available gives us no other alternative. MS.BONDS RESPONSE? I don't believe my daughter's life is worth $5,000! Let me say that again, A DOCTOR, WHILE STANDING IN FRONT OF A 6 YEAR OLD CHILD, said that the little girls life was not worth $5,000! Ms. Bond knows my daughter suffered a terrible accident as a toddler and is petrified of doctors. Dr. Bond was very a completely different persona in our last interaction. So I brushed it off and didn't pick up on the verbal abuse right away. Ms. Bond repeated the statement again. Ms. Bond saw our daughter a month prior and the wonderful staff remembered our princess. So you have to ask yourself why Ms. Bond continued on, also telling my 6 year old child that she "could die" and her symptoms "mean death" when this was NOT accurate or necessary! At this point Ms. Bond tried to hold my daughter away from me and told me to LEAVE THE ROOM so she could be ALONE with my child! My daughter was reaching out for me, screaming in fear, and saying how scared she was!! I obviously refuse to leave this mentally unstable woman anywhere near my child! Ms. Bond tells us to leave. Not a problem. Ms. Bond is reckless, negligent, and made assumptions lacking any substantive evidence. She did not allow me, the parent, to present symptoms or finish speaking. Instead, Ms. Bond repeatedly inquired why my daughter life was not worth $5,000, based on overwhelming ignorance! Both of my children suffered psychological trauma due to their doctors incompetence. My teenage son was also present for Ms. Bond's emotional outburst. I will attach the text messages my son sent to his father after the incident. My daughter still stays up all night with nightmares. She continued to ask about how much her life is worth and repeatedly uses the words "death" and "die." She was not aware of these words or aware of her own mortality until Ms. Bond's unnecessary and ignorant allegations. We are posting our entire story online, with additional audio evidence and the full chain of events that transpired. Dr. Kathryn Elizabeth Bond caused irreparable and intentional harm to my children. I will spend the rest of my life warning others of her ineptitude and will continue to do everything within the legal confines to prevent her from damaging more lives. I also found that Dr. Bond is NOT an M.D. PLEASE contact local news media and the Texas Medical Board if you are also a victim of her neglect and incompetence.

I felt comfortable and at ease right away due to the amazing bedside manners. I want to thank Dr. Lorentz, JJ my RN, and paramedic Will for wonderful care. Dr. Lorentz was very thorough, caring and informative and JJ was made sure I was comfortable at all times. The facility is clean, bright, in a convenient location, and they take Medicare. Elyse and Lindsay who worked the front desk were polite and courteous. Although I can't say it was an enjoyable experience as I felt pretty crappy I will say the staff at American ER made it as pleasant as possible. Highly recommended. Theresa L. March 8, 2026

Now I found out that the doctor decided to make an upgrade to Emergency room with no explanation about it. I was tired and under stress so I signed on their Ipad. The bill is 1,560 dollars for an IV hydration and nausea pills they also did a CT scan. he only had a stomach virus. Don't go over there unless you really need an Emergency Room

I ended up selecting Dr. Meghan Hunter after researching the credentials of doctors in the area. The entire staff is extremely friendly. They remember details about me and my family when we visit. The nurses are awesome and are very knowledgable. Dr. Hunter is extremely smart and personable. She does not treat folks like they are a 10 minute slot. In fact, she spends as much time as it takes to take care of business -- sessions with her are not rushed. Each time I have visited Dr. Hunter, she clearly articulated my issues, described my treatment plans, then got me on the road to wellness. Yes, sometimes they run behind, but it's a doctor's office. Sometimes there are serious issues that they must tend to and sometimes there are routine issues. I highly, highly recommend this practice!

Important information about what was actually done during the appointment was missing, while other parts of the record included incorrect information about procedures or actions that supposedly took place. Communication from the office was also extremely poor -- phone calls were not returned, excuses were constantly given, and the practice appeared disorganized and poorly managed. She had bloodwork done there twice. Both times, the results were posted to her patient portal without any follow-up or explanation from her doctor. Seeing abnormal results without guidance caused a great deal of unnecessary stress and anxiety. We ultimately sought care from a different doctor outside of their practice, only to learn that my daughter had mono; something that was clearly indicated in the very first set of bloodwork. During this time, she also developed a viral infection that went unaddressed. There are far too many other doctors in our area who practice medicine responsibly, communicate with their patients, and take the time to provide proper care. Based on our experience, I would strongly advise against using this practice.
