I use PostNet for managing my incoming mail. They partner with various online mail providers (e.g…read more iPostal1) through which you can pay a set fee (generally around $10 at the time of writing) to receive mail that is then processed according to your instructions (e.g. held for pickup, opened/scanned with e-mail sent to you of letter contents, forwarded to an address of your choosing). Working with online mail providers was new to them (they only started 2 months ago) and it was initially a bumpy experience (e.g. staff lacked training on how to use the new system). Based on my experiences so far, they have been open to feedback and have dramatically improved (e.g. I request a scan, I get a scanned copy of the document within the hour which is impressive and not a turnaround time I was expecting). I am now a very happy customer and the fact they are able to loop and improve bodes well about them being a provider that I trust with something deeply important to me (my personal mail). The franchisee for this PostNet location (Frank) from my interactions with him seems to be a nice, genuine guy who is passionate about his work.

Not impressed. The service was fast but I was quoted 120.00 to send a very small package to the UK…read morefrom Connecticut. I then asked about the cheapest USPS price and was quoted 90.00. Out of a point to prove he was ripping me off I walked to the USPS and the cheapest rate was 20.00. Bu-bye PostNet, I wont be seeing you again.

The mailing and checkout process was smooth. He helped me double check that everything is correct and told me different prices/options to ship. Thank you!

This FedEx location is one I often visit given its proximity to my house. It can be hard to get a…read moreparking space out front - be aware it has a good amount of parking available behind the building which is hidden, you can then access the FedEx by going through the back entrance (lots of steps though to walk up, if you have mobility issues, focus on parking out front). This particular FedEx location seems understaffed, you will often need to wait 5-10 minutes for help, don't expect to be acknowledged, staff will say someone else does that (e.g. if you request binding) and they don't know where that staff member is so please wait because maybe they are out on a break, etc. That said, once they are helping they are very genuine and eager to help you out. Hence, while I think the franchisor deserves 0 stars, the staff make up for it once there is someone able to actually help. Given 3 stars is A-OK (which it isn't), 2 stars is an appropriate descriptor for me given I can usually visit outside of their busy hours. If you visit during busy times (e.g. after work on a weekday or on a weekend), then 1 star.
