This is definitely a place to come check out. They are only open on Saturdays from 9-4 for shopping. The other days you can drop off donations and volunteer.

I had a nice time talking to the woman who was running the store, and while I was talking to her, I could see inside the actual church, which was quaint. I was told to spread the word that they just got a huge shipment of plus size men's clothing (XL 2x 3x) and some of it was really nice stuff. They do obviously take donations, but they have to be a little picky due to space, so nothing stained or torn please!

If you've ever wanted to build your own radio, this is the place for you. There were also very cheap old PC components, perfect for restoration projects. There were fewer Apple components (as I would expect) but they were still very reasonably priced and in good condition for the most part. My only qualm was with the venders. For the most part they were kind and helpful, mostly nerdy in a charming way. There were, however, at least three instances where venders made very sexist, condescending remarks, such as "you should find a boyfriend who can teach you engineering," or "this isn't the place for a nice girl like you, with all these electronics!" Usually I could forgive this, and in all cases I informed them that I was in fact an engineer despite being a woman (a radical concept, I know), but in all cases, when I asked the prices of different components they gave me ones that were significantly higher than usual. I decided to do an experiment; I had my friend (a guy) go to one of the same venders and ask the price of the same component and the vender's price for him was lower (only by like two dollars, but still).

The donated goods are mostly mall brands and the styles were pretty basic wares, but the prices were excellent. Everything was clearly price marked and very affordable (for example, all shirts were $3 and all shoes were $5). Staff is friendly and The facilities are clean (or as clean as a skate park might be aka stickers everywhere). Most importantly, the bathrooms are clean! There are lockers you can use to store your stuff. Bring your own lock. There's a skate shop and a couple of different areas different styles of ramps. There are lots of areas for parents to hang out or kids to chill and eat food. There's even a couch and some upholstered chairs for watching skate videos. Bring your own snacks or buy food from the snack bar or the vending machines. Not a whole lot of options, but there is hot coffee and tea. If you want more than snacks, I recommend bringing food in. Prices are $25 for a three hour session or $50 for the entire day. Skate parks and scooters are available to rent for 10 bucks. It feels like a pretty good value when you compare it to the cost of other activities such as snowboarding for over $100 a day. You can even rent the place for private parties for $200 per hour certain days.
