This is my absolute go-to #1 destination for antiques. They have an incredible selection, with an especially amazing collection of nautical decor and unique treasures you won't find just anywhere. There are tons of vendors, so there's always something new to discover, and I'm consistently impressed by the fair prices. The customer service is fantastic as well. Everyone is so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I could spend hours browsing here and always leave with something special. On the outside it doesn't look clean, and The area around wasn't the best. but they did have parking. when entering is really nice and organized. (ramp in the front for handicap use). I did have fun looking around. variety of items furniture,clothing, and jewelry. I have to admit the Downside is there's no AC. usually i take two labs in any antique place but because it was so hard and with the Mask I was sweating. I would suggest to them give water. would be a nice little gift ,ans Safety on their part. read more

My second visit to this HUGE antiques mall, and the sheer volume and variety of authentic antique items is great! I bought antique English transfer ware and some antique glass, but the best thing that happened is the staff! Maura was outstanding in every way possible! You see, I accidentally locked my keys in my car and my car was running! They allowed me to use their phone because, well, my own cell was locked in the van! The experience was less scary because of the great staff! I'll be back! Thank you! Friendliest staff, BEST place to buy antiques and the prices are VERY reasonable! read more

Excellent antique mall! Top quality! Nice friendly people overseeing the dealers booths. Very helpful. Wish I had found this place many years ago. Great selection and decent pricing. Items above $100 may be negotiable. Found items I was looking for and smooth transaction... and they helped load them into my vehicle. I don't, at all understand some of the negative reviews below. They just don't make sense to me. Professionally run, very well maintained with lots of great items. I use to love the Armory Antiques in Newport.. sorry it closed.. This is my favorite antique store in the New Bedford area. It's large and requires at least a couple of hours to give proper attention to each dealer, but it's worth it. Lots of nautical and local antiques. Being right off the highway, I'd highly recommend this to folks on their way to the cape. If you're taking the New Bedford ferry to Martha's Vineyard, this is also worth a stop since it's so close to the ferry, (and trust me, it will be much more affordable than any antiques you'll find on the Vineyard.) Parking can get a little full on weekends. Prices are definitely fair. Everything is organized and displayed well. The staff is consistently helpful and ready to answer questions, or take your purchases to the front for you so you don't have to carry them around. Enjoy! We always do! read more

I'd hate to think this place is homophobic, but I did find it strange that the woman behind the counter said hello to everyone who entered except for my partner and I. Then, on the way out, she said goodbye to everyone and while my partner and I were looking at brochures on the way out she just glared at us with a sour look on her face. Whatever their problem is in this place I certainly won't be back. I love coming down from New York to visit these New England antique shops but they can be a little bit rednecky and not so friendly toward gay couples. Worth noting if you are a gay couple. I've had a lot of experiences like this in antique shops in New England. But, there are also some great ones. This one was a fail. I actually had about $200 worth of items I wanted but I won't support businesses who pick and choose who they greet. read more

This is my favorite antique shop I have purchased many items from this location! I have purchased a 1894 14k gold diamond ring to many gold necklaces rings and even a few healing crystals!! Dealers that pay rent there to sell their antiques - beware - this place doesn't care about your business. My friend is an old handicapped person and dealer for 30 years. He bought there MANY things spending a lot of $$$$$. I took him there because he liked that store. We live far north from Boston so it's big deal for him to travel and walk with such back problems he have. We came today around 2 pm. Although he shouldn't - he walked there for over 1,5h not only because he usually buys something there but because buying antiques is significant part of his life. So 15:45 we have found two Labarge tables and went to cashier to make an offer. Lady with long grey ponytail told us first that they are closing. Then she said the table had to be over 100 dollars in order to call an offer. We told her it was $400 so then she told us to get the sticker - I ran back and took a photo because someone was so smart putting paper sticker on the glass top. Then my friend made an offer but she wasn't interested talking to us. While walking away to the next customer she mumbled that it was too low and she wont be calling the owner of the tables. She told us to come back tomorrow. I told her we are far away but all she had to say was again that they are closing at 4pm. I have never seen before such a rude customer service. Ok, one time I did - in postcomunistic country but even then I never seen that clerk again. How can you just turn your back when customer is asking questions? Ignore someone who is waiting to talk to you and do the other things to quickly turn off the computer?! If you stop service before 4 pm at least be honest and say so, don't pretend you cant make an offer - we bought there lots of things! I'm really sad and disappointed but thank god there is so much other antique stores. read more

A great spot with a variety of antiques and collectibles spanning many different decades...and a nice amount of whaling and New England items peppered throughout. Decent prices, well organized, well-lit, plenty of parking, easy to find (and right off the highway!). Give yourself an hour at least...you will want to check every corner! read more

One of my regular stops whenever I visit Massachusetts - and I always seem to find something to buy. I am primarily looking for books, and these can be found in quite a few booths - and the prices are usually reasonable. But I have to admit that I often see other things that catch my fancy. While this is a large shop with many dealers, it is well-organized and the booths have decent stock, not a lot of flea market type stuff. The staff is helpful, friendly and efficient. I've visited some of the other multi-dealer antique stores in the area, but this seems like the one with the best selection and prices, so it is one that i keep returning too. read more
