Made another appointment for next week. I live in New Mexico and will defiantly keep coming back to Alpine to get this excellent service. A bonus is they also have Aveda products which I love.

We did a early morning ride with Evo (gotta consider heat and horses) and his knowledge of plant life, history, suggestions for a scenic drive to Marfa, etc. made our excursion completely delightful. Evo also took a few moments to snap LOTS of pics of us (worthy of a picture frame). Evo was polite and respectful of our time and made the trip a nice way to end our vacation. The icing on the cake was Miss Dottie, the cattle dog who was a great addition for our ride.

Very professional friendly, and helpful in any way that you need. The setting of the place is gorgeous (please see photos). There are mountains, the cacti, the sunsets. The golf course itself is really pretty as well. The restaurants on the grounds are all pretty good. Ultimately, it's a great place and I would not hesitate to stay here again on future visits!

Bob and Ceil were incredibly skilled at what they do and the space and their relaxed hospitality was healing in itself. Texted Ceil Sunday night and she got back with us Monday morning. She works in both Alpine and Terlingua but she was going to be in her Terlingua office on the day we wanted to schedule. Fine with us because we were going to make that drive while we were in the area anyway. Beautiful drive, definitely a superior massage. We'll be coming back this way again I'm sure, and we'll make sure we include a visit Ceil when we come back. Side note: she even offered to dog sit our chihuahua if we wanted to do some hiking while we were in Terlingua.

I had been badly injured…read morewhen a motorist hit me while I was on my bike and he knew a day of relaxing while he went mountain biking was what I deserved. I corresponded with Regina and told her about my injuries, I was cleared for massage by my neurosurgeon but still not comfortable with much touch so she helped me build a package with a body wrap and facial. Yes, the prices are high but you're at a resort in the middle of no where and it states clearly on the menu the gratuity is included. I walked in and the spa is a very charming little space, even though it was high season it was very quiet inside. You change into a comfortable robe and slippers, everything is very peaceful and calming from the candle fragrances to the soft music. We started with a wonderful foot soak, I almost fell asleep the room was so relaxing. During the body wrap Regina was very mindful of my injuries, scar tissue and took great care showing she is a true professional. After she wrapped me and left me for awhile in the room I let the soft music and lovely scents lull me into a nap! She was also very considerate, reminding me that if I sat up fast I may be dizzy and she'd give me privacy but if I needed assistance due to the nature of my injuries to please let her know. During the facial we chatted and I found her delightful, she gave me advice on shops to check for an ornament for my collection and told me about the area. The only thing I wish was in previous facials it included a light planing of the facial hair which this one did not. All of the products left my skin feeling great for the rest of our visit, not an easy task in the desert when I have skin that is sensitive. The visit was truly a wonderful thought from my husband and I very much enjoyed the time at the spa, I am not a frequent spa visitor but I found it wonderful and will return next time I find myself in Lajitas.

The mantra of the owners was to ask what people wanted and needed and they stocked it. Clothes, cleaning, auto, camping, pet, drug store stuff (minus pharmacy)...lots and lots of stuff in a beautifully refurbished commercial building with central air conditioning/heat. The only downside is the signage....pay attention to the address...there are several of these buildings on Cemetery Rd. This is after the self storage jumble of buildings. Lots of parking.
