Most beautiful views of all Barcelona. Food was terrific. Must order the baked Camembert, the scallops. Lobster stew was also very special, and I was able to order for only one. Many foods are served tableside on fire including the sea bass and the rum cake dessert. Quite a show. Came with a colleague and had to return with my wife two nights later. This place is located on a mountain overlooking Barcelona, getting a table near the window is a must. The view is beautiful and calming and great segue into the enjoyment of your meal. What I enjoyed was that the portions were deceptively filling. Everything tasted as well if not better than how it was plated and presented. Starting with the burrata cheese and potato gnocchi was a great way to prep for the main dishes. I did not want to share my duck entree, the salmon paired with the fruit tasted great. In Barcelona meals are had later in the evening, my reservation was for 9:15pm on a weeknight. Pro-tip: please ask for a plate of Catalan Bread! A spectacular view of Barcelona on Tibidabo Mountain! Loved this lounge type of restaurant because it was quiet and intimate. It's a perfect spot for a date. My girl friend and I decided to have a small dinner and drinks overlooking the city. The mojitos are amazing here., very refreshing and high-quality. We also got a pitcher of Sangria which was also very good. We split an order of the chicken paella... not bad, but I've definitely had better. Overall, the ambiance of Mirabé was perfect for a evening out and nothing beats the wonderful view! read more

We were in Barcelona for my girlfriends birthday and decided to have the birthday dinner at Mirabé. It did not disappoint. Being a Saturday night, I was concerned about getting a table at such a nice establishment. You can make reservations on the restaurants website or Opentable if you use that. This process went smoothly. Reservations were for 9PM. As we walked in we expected a bustling restaurant. At this time it was mostly empty. The reason for this is dinner and nightlife starts late in Barcelona, the restaurant didn't start filling up till around 11PM! If you plan on arriving early there will be no issue getting a table. We were sat directly against the window with a stunning view of Barcelona at night. Definitely a must do. The restaurant was very nice and modern. This place is not casual so do dress up a bit. On to the food. Barcelona is a port city with a lot of great seafood, we ordered plenty on our visit. The wine selection had a fair selection, but the good part was many of the wines were produced in Europe so a treat for us visiting from the U.S. For starters we ordered the fried seafood plate. This had shrimp, calamari, a fish and another, with tartar sauce. This was a great start. For the main course, we ordered the paella, which is shared between two people. This did not disappoint and was full of delicious seafood. The dining experience was wonderful with a great waiter, Jordi. This experience was nice and non-rushed as you might feel in other establishments. Being a birthday the restaurant provided us with two glasses of cava and strawberries. A great touch and much appreciated! We highly recommend eating here if you are in Barcelona. Mirabé does not have a bar inside as is typical in most establishments. Next door, Mirablue, is the bar with the same great views. We went there after our dinner for a night cap. Will return! read more

Great service who speaks English and Spanish My first paella I've ever had,and it was excellent - I'm not even a huge fan of seafood. It may seem expensive at first, but I paid $40 or so for dinner, a dessert and several drinks. Above anything else, the view was incredible. The restaurant has a very laid back atmosphere and is the perfect way to end a vacation, have a drink after work, or celebrate in any way. I am here on a Wednesday, but I am sure Friday happy hour this is the place to be. I will add some patrons were in suits while I missed the tram and walked up the mountain - I was sweaty and in a nice v neck, I felt under dressed. A great escape from las ramblas where I am staying. So far it is my favorite place in Barcelona. A must for all tourists or locals alike. read more

This place will be the cherry on top (literally speaking seeing as it is on top of one of the highest mountains in Barcelona...) of your trip in this incredible city. It was where I spent some of my favorite nights, and last night of my six month exchange, in Barcelona. The atmosphere is unbeatable. You see the entire city from an ariel point of view, with inside lounge seating surrounded by all glass windows, or outside patio seating. I only have ever gone here for drinks, and they are definitely not cheap, but they are definitely worth it. They are really well made, with an incredibly extensive gin and tonic menu that I tried about seven different kinds of and found that not one of them was a disappointment. If you spend any amount of time in Barcelona, it doesn't take long to realize the way the Spainish drink Gin and Tonic is almost like a science, and it's a huge trend. They all come infused with different spices and are paired with specific gins to bring out the flavor. Personally I would have to say the G'Vine is my favorite, but like I said you really can't go wrong. This is the place I fell in love with the "gin y tonica", and most will leave as a converted gin fans. I for sure did. The Sangria is also really good as well, but definitely can find more reasonable priced Sangria elsewhere. It's at the top of Tibidado, so if you take the metro line from Placa Cataluyna all the way to Tibidado, you can get a cab from the exit of the metro to Mirabe for about 9 euro, or you can hop on the bus that goes to the Funicular of Tibidado and you'll see Mirabe right there to your right. The restaurant is open to the public after 7 (private events and such before hand), so check bus schedules accordingly. But trust me, DON'T leave Barcelona without checking this place out. It will leave you with one of the best memories of the city you'll have to think back on! read more

The view is spectacular!! I recently attended a dinner here during a conference and I must say it was quite an impressive experience. The restaurant is located on Tibidabo Mountain with a spectacular view of Barcelona. It would've been nice to arrive at sunset, although even though it was late in the evening, I cannot complain. We had a spectacular view of Barcelona including the lights from the fountains in the distance. We were greeted with a cocktail reception with wine and champagne, and passed appetizers including beetroot and cheese profiteroles, avocado and salmon crostini and cured ham on bread. Our appetizer dish was duck confit cannelloni with apple sauce and rocket salad which was quite rich and tasted amazing! For the entree, we were given Hake with potato confit with a mole sauce which was quite delicious, not to mention, a generous portion. Dessert was my favourite, and consisted of chocolate coulant with vanilla bourbon ice cream. The service was attentive and courteous, and they were quick to replenish our drinks and clear our dishes as well. The ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful, and they even have a small little pond with turtles and fish in the middle. I would highly recommend this, not just as a business dinner, but for gourmet dining with exceptional service and an amazing view. read more

Difficult to get a taxi down the mountain so plan transportation ahead but definitely worth the visit for some of the best views in Barcelona read more

This place was amazing. This probably has the best best view in all of Barcelona and the food is phenomenal. If your looking for an amazing view and great food this is the spot! My wife and I both got the salmon and we were thinking, how different can it be from regular salmon ( from the states) and wow, it was great. Grilled to perfection, not over cooked and the sauces accompanying the dish were perfect. I would definitely recommend this place any one visiting Barcelona for the first time. read more

Went here on recommendation from our hotel concierge. As others have said, really great view. The food was just okay. The manager/owner speaks English well, but for talking to the wait staff, you may need more than 3 years of A's in US high school Spanish. Going up here for the view, keep in mind that you're well off the beaten path, so don't be surprised to wait 30+ minutes for a taxi back to your hotel. There are better places to delight your tongue in Barcelona. read more
