This campus is one of the few ATMs (Hyosung) that is compatible with Passbook. [That bank is closing, so I'm disappointed.] The other school is College of the Canyons, which I'd love to visit, but it's a little too far. What grinds my gear is the fact the parking. I should have used card, but I made the blunder of putting in a $10. I think I parked in 3B instead of 3C for visitors/guests. It's $1 for the whole day aka 11:59 PM. Wi-Fi is accessible, and the library is under construction. The noise would drive me nuts if I wanted to study outside, but otherwise, it is calm. It feels like a small campus, kind of like FJC. Palomar is so much prettier though. I really should have explored more, but not a student so didn't want to disturb anyone. A lot of doors were locked though.

Big facility for arts in Oceanside, I have heard about their acting programs offer here at the school, so they do host a few film festival ceremonies here, the down side would be a lot of walking around, long lines of people waiting in the heat as they still setting up the theater inside, the place was nice and all, just when they decided to turn off the lights and kicked everyone out, before things started to wrapped up, I understand that everyone needed to go home, but at least give people a heads up, so that they don't have to run out in panic mode like an evacuation, it's very peaceful and quiet at night, minus the darkness

Had many technical issues from registration, to signing up for the class, and in the actual online class was not very user friendly. I HIGHLY DO NOT ENCOURAGE online school here, in person may be better but I only took the course because it was free through a program

I didn't expect this community college to have so many resources! I've heard so many good stories about my college compared to Palomar and a few other colleges in the area. So far, I love this place. The only problem I find is parking during the peak ours of 8-4. My classes are usually bottom of the hour so I have no problems parking. But, if your classes are top of the hour, goodluck finding parking! Always use ratemyprofessor.com to check if the prof in the class you're enrolling to have awesome reviews. Just saying lol. I'm about to graduate with my AA in the summer so I'm happy about that. lol

What a beautiful campus!…read more I never imagined this campus to look like this. Nestled in San Diego county. I don't know about their class offerings but the acceptance rate is 95% which doesn't make it a very prestigious college but perhaps it's a push for expansion.

THE BEST YEARBOOK QUOTES EVER…read more Congratulations to all the starry-eyed high school and college seniors graduating this year! Give yourselves a high five for making it through some crazy times. Not only did you survive a global pandemic, but you also had to deal with endless wildfires, skyrocketing inflation, and those pesky murder hornets. Through it all, you persevered. So much so that I am hereby bestowing upon you the Top 10 best yearbook quotes I have ever received. So use these quotes as inspiration to go forth and make this world slightly less horrible! (1) "I'm surprise you graduate, why you no doctor yet?" -my asian mom (2) "Let's hang this summer" "Best friends 4evrrr!" "True love is rare, but true friendship is rarer." {*never to speak with again*} (3) "Yes, I voted for you in the 'Most Needy' category but you didn't have to beg me for it." (4) "Upon my death, all of my group project classmates shall lower me into my grave to let me down one final time." (5) "So what are you. Asian or Chinese?" (6) "I'm not insecure... unless you want me to be." (7) "Goodbye, everyone. I'll see you in my future therapy sessions." (8) "If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with mesothelioma you may be entitled to cash compensation." (9) "Never do cocaine, even though it sure does smell good!" (10) "I wish there was a way to know you are in the good old days before you have actually passed them." Pro tip: avoid writing "never change" in your loser-friends' yearbooks because too many of them would take it literally. Pro tip: already 35 years young, CSUSM is the system's 21st campus. Here you'll find great educators, small class sizes, and abundant resources. The 2024 U.S. News Best Colleges Report ranks the university 28th in the "Regional Universities West" category. That's pretty good, right?

I signed in, and was welcomed right on time for my appointment that I had with Kimberly G. She was amazing at making me feel welcomed. I needed guidance on two separate programs, and she was so graceful in giving me all of the information that I needed to consider the school. She always asked if I had questions and never made my questions sound dumb. Kim booked me for some testing and gave me a tour. It is small, but will expand soon. I was very impressed by this university. Kimberly G was the best advisor for me, and anyone who needs guidance on their next steps in healthcare should consult with her. Thank you Kimberly!

DO NOT attend this school. Please read before enrolling. I TRANSFERRED TO THE SAN DIEGO LOCATION,…read moreBUT I CAME FROM THE OC LOCATION. The only reason I'm still here is because l'm too deep into my program to transfer. They WANT young, aspiring and scared people to come here because we don't consider rating, reviews, money. but please do your research before confirming enrollment. This school isn't what they say it is. While the accreditations are real, the way the school works is demeaning. You have no power, the student handbook is only written out because the bppe states that every university needs one, but stanbridge is not a school that cares for their students. I used to attend Yasith Weerasuriya's Orange County location, one of four campuses under his ownership. But now I am at the San Diego location. This nursing school is for-profit, and it shows--they're here to make money off of students, not to support our education. From the moment you get in, things change fast. The person who helped you through the enrollment process? They disappear. You'll never hear from them again. After that, you're left to deal with counselors (called SSOs)--and if you're lucky, you'll get one who actually cares. But even then, they have no power. They're not allowed to fix anything that matters. The professors? They don't really teach. Most are kind people stuck in a system where they have to say, teach, and grade exactly how the dean or administrators tell them to. They are at the bottom of the chain, controlled by Yasith and his team. It's like watching puppets being forced to dance. One day, the dean came into our class and said, "I'm sure you guys came here because you didn't get accepted anywhere else." Whether that's true or not, it was harsh, disrespectful, and completely unnecessary. Many of us came here because we wanted to become nurses quickly but this school makes that dream harder, not easier. I've personally witnessed students get unfairly failed and dismissed, even when their work followed the rubric. Professors can fail you just because they don't like you. And don't bother with the appeal process, it's just a delay tactic. They don't read them, they just deny you after a few days and we all get the same email. Why aren't there more lawsuits? Great question. That's because before you even start, they make you sign an arbitration agreement. What is that? An arbitration document means you're giving up your legal right to sue them in court. If something unfair happens, you can't file a lawsuit or be part of a class action. Instead, you have to settle things privately, through a process that usually favors the school. Most students don't even realize what they're signing. Oh, and Yasith the owner? He has no nursing background. His degree is in engineering, yet he's making decisions that affect your education and future nursing license. On top of that, the public face of the school, Victoria S., is just the social media director, not the owner or founder. If they're misrepresenting that, what else are they hiding? I've seen so many students dismissed for no valid reason and am terrified of getting dismissed from the San Diego location. Many believe it's to fund the campus I now go to, the newer San Diego campus. (This campus) This school is a money scheme. If you're serious about becoming a nurse and want to be respected and supported in your journey, go somewhere else. This place will take your money, your time, and your peace of mind and leave you with nothing in return. If you do decide to come here, keep a paper trail. And do not be afraid to speak your voice. They can not treat you unfairly due to you speaking up. Don't be afraid of them. They run off of scared individuals. THIS REVIEW IS GOING TO CONSTANTLY BE UPDATED THROUGHOUT MY TIME HERE. 5/9/2025
