As a parent of an only child, I had concerns about things like sharing, group play, and adjusting to social situations. His previous daycare felt overly strict--so structured that it held back his creativity and self-expression. When we transitioned to Happy Time at age 4, I wasn't sure what to expect. Looking back, it was the best decision we could have made. From day one, the staff made my son feel welcome and cared for. I remember how nervous he was at drop-off--clinging to my hand and hesitant to let go. By the end of that first day, he was smiling, laughing, and playing with new friends. Within weeks, he was saying "please" and "thank you" on his own, learning to share, and engaging happily with kids of all ages. The multi-age environment helped him develop patience, empathy, and teamwork--skills that have carried over beautifully to his new school. The teachers and staff are truly exceptional. They're warm, caring, and transparent in their approach. What stood out most was how often they shared their own experiences as parents, grandparents, and family members. It was clear they weren't just following a manual--they brought real-life wisdom and genuine love for children into everything they did. For my son, who sometimes struggles to understand the concept of "family" beyond just our son, mom, and dad, Happy Time became a second home. He came back each day excited to tell me about his friends, teachers, and all the fun they had. I also appreciated the balance in their environment. Unlike his previous daycare, which felt rigid and overly structured, Happy Time offered a natural and engaging routine. Activities like art, story time, and music encouraged both learning and creativity. He couldn't wait to share what he'd done each day, and it was a joy to see him so excited to learn. Now that he's in kindergarten, I can see how much Happy Time prepared him. The social skills, confidence, and independence he gained there made his transition smooth and positive. If you're looking for a daycare where your child will be loved, supported, and truly nurtured, I can't recommend Happy Time Education enough. It's more than a daycare--it's a community, a family, and a place where your child will grow in every way. Thank you to the amazing teachers and staff. We'll always be grateful for the love and care you gave our son.

Ever since Ms. Luna became the new principal a lot of good changes have happened. She truly has made a difference. From creating the valet car for dropping off students in the mornings to having the after school program STEM where they create robots and compete against other schools. This motivates students to be involve in activities. If parents don't have the time to take them, they manage somehow to find the time to take them. I appreciate the effort! As far as teachers they're all have been great teachers! Just to mention a few Ms. Rodriguez, Ms. Castillo, Ms. Torres, Ms. Rosas, and Ms. Reedy. They've done a great job in teaching my daughters. Good amount of homework given. Field trips have been great. My daughters have been happy so far. Office staff, not the greatest but they try their best! I believe they can be better and more organized. I understand it can be insane speaking to over 50 parents a day just with 2 staff members. The school nurse is on point. Always calling me with any issues when my daughters go to the nurse's office.

They have so much patience and are all really great with the students. They have everything at this school, my 2nd grader needed speech therapy for a couple of years and it really helped him, the staff is really good about seeing that the students needs are met. They have a dual language program for the kids who can benefit from that and hey work so hard to keep the parents updated, informed, and involved! Thank you Walnut Park for all you do for kids! *as for the comment about 1 office staff assisting 10 parents and the long wait time...that happens every morning to the parents who can't get their kids to school on time, so yes, after 8am there is a line to get your kid checked in because the gates close promptly at 8 am, when the bell rings. But other than that, the office staff is quick to assist each parent as they walk in.
