I would ask to see if you can get the chocolate decadence or Caipirinha pie instead of the Pao De Lo when getting the 6 or 9 course (maybe even pay a little more). Having had years of experience not only working in France but also as an instructor in many parts of Europe, she brings with her an amazing talent abs an artistic approach to her work. She's professional, attentive, experiences, creative but above all a warm soul with an inviting personality and smile. Aside from making you feel like a star she's warm and inviting making you feel right at home from the start. Whenever I am fortunate enough to come by this part of the world I will not go without making an appointment to see Cristina. And the other huge plus, unlike the exuberant prices of the US markets, the prices for hair services are a fraction of what you'll pay for her services, which is typical of many European small towns. The way it should be. It floors me how much I pay for same or similar services in the US. For instance I had my hair colored, balayage, wash and blow dried for around $90. In the US I get that same device done for around $250. Insane! Although I have to admit the salaries and cost of living in these smaller European towns are much less than in the US but even so I do believe the hair industry and some salons the prices have gone beyond absurd. The only thing I didn't like about our room was the glass wall with mini blinds that separated the bathroom from bedroom. Sexy as the idea might have been it is a great disruption to be woken up multiple times during the night when the restroom is being used. When our flight home was cancelled last minute... the hotel staff was very accommodating and let us stay in the same room as well as assisted to reschedule our transportation to the airport the following day. I'd stay here again as the hotel was centrally located, the staff was great, the room was nice, and morning breakfast as outstanding!

One hour later I had to inquire again. Finally the manager stepped up and explained there was a maintenance issue on the connecting room and moved us to a new room instead. The associate never made eye contact with me after her "10 minute promise" on the wait time. Then, my room key was not working. I went downstairs and asked for a new key. The associate Francesca literally just handed me a key without asking for my identification. So unsafe! So I mentioned this to Beatrice right after and her explanation was "If we know the guest, we will issue the key without any identification. BUT, it told her Francesca never met me. She could have just reissued the key to any stranger not registered to the room. Beatrice took my complaint down and scribbled away. No follow up was done. I went ahead and reported this to the Marriott Customer Service and they provided me a case #. Apparently, the property was to get back to me in 24 hours. No follow up 10 days later. Apparently the case was closed without any follow up. They have re-opened the case and now they have 3 business days to get back to me. Disappointed with the customer service.
