We did not plan on taking professional photos but we got caught up in the idea and the various costumes available (Tudor, Old West, Gangster, etc). We chose "Tudor" and were quickly taken into a room so we could change and choose which headpieces we wanted to wear as well as rings and swords. The photographer was very professional and the sitting took about one hour. There was a variety of poses and props that we used and after the sitting we had over 125 photos to choose from. We had big laughs looking at the photos while sitting on a sofa in front of a big screen TV. In the end we decided on four photos and decided on a package plan which included digital copies. The price was fair and the photos were also retouched to give us flawless complexions which is always flattering. I recommend seeking out Old & New Photography Studio for your photographic needs. Nemi did all the shoots in her cosy studio photography in Ealing. She was so natural at finding the right angles and positioning me and my daughter in the shot in order to capture those tender moments of us. From the moment we stepped inside the shop we felt relaxed and at ease (especially after a negative experience elsewhere). The fact that we had an area to ourselves and a welcoming drink made us all feel at home and individual. Sally looked after us so well and we all felt her passion for her job. She took time to listen to what Sam's likes and dislikes where which wasn't easy as my daughter hates fuss and attention. She chatted away to all of us, listening to the wedding plans and how they had met, which was lovely. Sally picked out a dress which my daughter would not have originally thought of but when she put it on we all knew 'this was the one'. As a mum I felt Sally was like an old friend and we could be honest with her. Up until now I had not been emotional... but let's just say we owe you a box of tissues!! After trying a few others, just to be sure Sam tried THE dress on again, I am biased of course but she looked amazing in it. Sam initially did not want a veil but Sally tried it and it all came together. Perfection! I can't thank Sally and everyone there enough and I am so looking forward to seeing her in the dress again. Best bridal boutique in Kent if not the UK!…read more I want to start by saying how perfect Isabella Grace was and how at ease they made me feel from start to finish. When I turned up to my appointment with my Mum, Sister and Best friend I was a nervous wreck! From the moment I walked though the door I was greeted with friendly, helpful and attentive staff. I really wish I could remember the name of the wonderful lady who helped me. She was really understanding and got to grips with what I wanted quickly. She asked me what sort of wedding I was having and asked me a little about myself and what ideas I had before I arrived. We then went downstairs to look at certain designers she felt encompassed my requirements. We picked 4 presses together then she picked a 'wild card'. Once back upstairs I tried on all the dresses and found 'The One' in dress 2! It was funny as the dress I chose was the dress I thought I would like the least. The ladies commented that if they had a pound for every time they heard that! I don't want to give it all away but I wanted to explain that last bit because I thought it was just so stress free and completely took the anxiety of being faced with so many dresses away. The sales advisor clearly knew each individual dress so only pulled out dresses she knew I would like. It was just a really professional and fun experience. I just want to say thank you to Isabella Grace for making the experience so special and a day I wont forget, I just cant wait to put my dress on again!

I recently needed to get some photos printed for an exhibition and McKenzie Clark offered me the…read morebest price to print and mount my images. I asked them to print on Matt and as the images were quite dark they printed a test one first which turned out really dull. So they suggested I print on gloss which I didn't really want to as dark images with a lot of black in them look a hell of a lot better when they are printed on Matt paper but I took their advise and went with the gloss. Now they came out OK but I'm a perfectionist and I am not satisfied with OK. I will be trying a different printers next time.

Assuming you don't plan to stay holed up in your room, this should not matter. Some of the single rooms are in oddly shaped corners of the building so they can seem snug, and perhaps comically awkward. This adds to the charm. 2) The showers are to die for. We're talking overhead, rain shower kind of things -- loverly. And there are bonus blue lights on the floor. Somehow this gives the bathroom a very funky, "I'm cosmopolitan, so there" kind of vibe. 3) Location is spot on. Just across from Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens which means you can walk to some nice places for dinner, entertainment or what have you. Our only problem was that the District and Circle line was out of service (and will be through much of August), so we were not able to use the tube stop at Kensington High Street. Next best option is Gloucester Rd. (about 15 min walk). 4) The hotel has a very narrow entrance that can be hard to miss. Our cab driver didn't know where it was, and if you aren't keen on the look out, you might miss it. Look for a glass door snuggled between the Giraffe and Chez Gerard. 5) Good internet access and free.

It's right across the street from Hyde Park and is convenient to the Underground just a block and a half away. I would absolutely stay here again. Free continental breakfast is nothing to write home about (canned fruit, some pastries, hardboiled egg -YAY- some meats and little packets of cheese - YAY -) but for free it was just fine. The coffee was sort of awful but isn't all coffee in London awful (except for @ Starbucks)? But the room was just right and shockingly QUIET (in the back, did not hear a THING either from inside or outside). Comfortable bed. I recommend!!
