I would recommend the school for budding dancers and more skilled dancers. My daughter loves the choreography and the friends she has made so far. I have noticed an increase in her confidence and dance moves/ability in this small time period. I feel like I am getting a good deal. The classes meet twice per week, but the school offers virtual and in-person classes. They strictly follow COVID rules and do not allow parents into the facility to sit while class is in session. The registration process was quick and easy and I am able to find important information on their user-friendly website. If there is anything I have a question about, I can email and get a response same day most times.

The entire staff is highly experienced, dedicated and passionate about dance. Every person who walks through the door is valued, respected and seen. I have decades of dance classes behind me and I have never loved dance so much as since I found this studio. They don't teach only to the best students and leave the rest in the dust, as has been my experience in other studios. They support, respect and uplift every single dancer. The curriculum they teach is consistent among all the instructors and is very thorough. My primary instructor is Ellias and he's a Jedi Master, I swear. I learn soooo much every lesson and have a blast doing it. You have the opportunity to work with all of the instructors and practice with them. They are all so generous with their knowledge. Kindness is the culture. No snobby attitude here! People of every age, background, ability, physicality, all levels, get 100%, no dancer left behind. It is so inspiring to watch some of the people who have worked to become Incredible, competitive dancers and know they started out just like you or I did. I don't aspire to compete, just to enjoy some hot Latin social dancing, but it is fun to watch Dancing with the Stars in real life.. I am happily hooked and am here for group classes and group practice parties in addition to my private lessons many times a week. The instructor let us know that if you take the regular classes (membership) then you do way more working out, she was just easy on us since it was a party. As far as the pole class itself, it was very, very hard. I realized that I have NO upper body strength. I mean I really don't see how strippers (oops exotic dancers) do it. If you're looking for this type of workout I would definitely visit this establishment. The instructors were very nice and professional. Plus its Black Owned and I'll definitely support that. You can actually drop in for the exotic classes on Sat. and I believe you have to see if there is room for the pole class. I believe the classes are $20. The instructor also stated that they have another location in Ga. I haven't visited that one yet (from Ga.).

They tell jokes and intimate stories that help you feel better if you aren't able to do a move effortlessly. I enjoy going here and always feel comfortable. They also offer specialty classes, like "Booty Poppin and Shakin" "Video Vixen" "Lap Dance Specials" etc... Going here, I've gained a great perspective on the athleticism that you must have in order to be a stripper AND look good doing it. They also sell 5-7inch heels here so you can really get the full feeling. If you want to just see without being charged, the Saturday at 12 class is free for first timers.

I've had at least one of my munchkins going here for the last 4 years (ever since we moved to this area). Between them they've taken Ballet 1, 2, 3, 4, Pre-Pointe, Pointe, Modern Dance, Tap, and Jazz...so I think we've seen quite a variety of classes. We could not be happier with KDT. It has been and continues to be a positive place for our munchkins to learn dance (and made some good friends to boot). If you're in the market for a place for your little ones (or even big ones) to learn about dance I'd definitely suggest checking them out.

My thoughts on this studio:…read more 1. Don't bother with the dress code. I purchased my dancer specific dancewear after talking to the Registrar, Flora, about the dress code. The majority of dancers are not following the dress code. 2. Don't expect a peaceful studio. The handbook specifically says under the sharing spaces section: keep voices at a low volume to reduce distractions and noise and show each other respect and kindness. This was not enforced. After every class, the dancers coming out of the prior class were extremely noisy for 30-45 minutes outside the studio. It was extremely disrespectful to my dancer's class. After I politely requested for quiet in the studio, my request was ignored and the behavior continued. 3. Don't expect to feel welcome as a new dancer. Priority is given to dancers not new to the studio. I had questions about my dancer, and the school director, Alex, could not be bothered to evaluate my dancer. 4. Be prepared for a weird smell. The smell of the studio made my asthma worsen. I want to mention this because I know how frustrating it can be to enter a space that triggers asthma for those who suffer from it.
