Here - they must be scheduling wizards because on the three visits I have had, I was checked in, sat for about a minute (ok, maybe 5... maybe) and was then seen by the assistant and then within minutes the physician. An appointment that would have taken my close to two hours previously was like 20 minutes. I LOVE THAT. Not only that, everyone, from the front receptionist to Dr. Sobhani was courteous, attentive and helpful. Top-notch medical care, efficiently... isn't that what we all want?

She doesn't know whether cancer runs in my family, heart disease, diabetes, asthma, etc.... She had no desire to ask any questions. Her first words were "what are your major complaints." I actually didn't have any complaints, but our family doctor retired at the beginning of the year and we needed to find a new doctor and an elderly neighbor recommended her. My husband has already canceled his upcoming appointment with her and I will NOT be returning. For a doctor to not even ask for any medical history a first appointment is absurd. Her manner was very brusque, rude and I left feeling humiliated by her due to a medical condition I have. Her exact words about my condition were " What's up with that? It's ugly." And for some reason, she seemed to think that an unusual symptom I now have is from a medicine I've been on for 17 years. NO. She also didn't seem to know much about a condition I suffered from in the past two years. Well I don't know what country you're from, but that is not how a doctor behaves. It's not like other doctors where you walk out with a prescription but not really understanding why you have it. Really the only downside is that Dr. Sues is the only doctor in the office. So yes, you will need to wait if she gets tied up with another patient. The hours are usual business hours, which is generally fine. But it also means if you come down with something more urgent, there won't be evening or weekend hours. And of course, there's no in house lab, so you'll have to visit Quest or Labcorp if you need blood drawn. The location is convenient - basically at the intersection of 495 and Route 50.

They have a great email subscription that inboxes new treatments or promotional services, and their patient portal web site is user-friendly. They also offer a patient Membership with monthly charges that includes nutritionist consultation and earlier available appointment booking availability. But at the minute of your appointment time, doctor did not log on but reception called and said my insurance is not on file and can't be verified. You have 10 days ahead to verify this, but have to wait till actual appointment time? We never have issue with our insurance elsewhere. So, you basically out of work for whole afternoon and, didn't even get to see the doctor. What a nightmare experience, can't believe how badly this practice is managed, patient be aware! But, at McLean Internal Medicine: we understand what the doctor is saying, he always runs on time, he remembers who we are, he never is rushed, he gets the diagnosis right or sends us to a specialist. The doctor take our blood pressure and vitals; there is no middleman to ask us why we are there. No matter how far fetched it might be. He takes in concerns from head to toe. He is not one of those doctors who say I can only check one thing at a time. He is friendly, funny and very caring. "I highly recommend her," she said. "My entire family goes to Dr. Armani, not just recently, but for over 20 year." Very impressive - I thought. Immediately, I scheduled an appointment. That was very easy, efficient and quick. It was almost too good to be true (but it is). This charming, beautiful lady took my blood for overnight analysis, listened to me, found my medical history, diagnosed my issues properly and started me off on treatments that made sense. I did not even realize I was in serious trouble. But she did. However, she attacked with such gentle care as a healer, which to me is much more than just a doctor. She gained my trust simply by listening and applying her knowledge with an extreme purpose, bringing me out of an extreme condition into health over the last six months with care and follow through touch. My absolute favorite doctor Dr. Lim has left the practice so I've been hopping around whoever has been available and have found each person that I have met has been incredibly kind, smart, and sensitive to whatever issues I am facing at the time. The back and forth communication between the app is amazing and has saved me hours of my life .. and the ability to make same day appointments is life changing. They have a children's practice as well, which I am highly considering switching to as I can see it being easy to schedule sick and well visits, get doctors notes, etc. My company used to pay One Medical Group as a benefit but it is so good that I continue to pay out of pocket. I am so glad that Amazon has purchased the company to make this type of quality health care more accessible for all.

When we arrived and gave our name, the staff didn't turn us down, so we assumed that they knew we are the people called earlier - well, we were wrong. AFTER filling all the forms, they told us that the doctor won't see us because we were late. WE CALLED TO LET THEM KNOW! If they had said so on the phone, that we should reschedule we wouldn't have been this upset. And then they said "you can wait here for next 2 hours and we'll see if we can squeeze you in." Uh, what's the point of setting an appointment? And do they think we have all day to skip work and just sit there? And this is what they are like on our FIRST VISIT where they should make a good first impression? Don't know about dr's skills(duh, never got to see her) but staff are very rude and unprofessional, and so was the doctor. The dr herself seems to do whatever she feels like at the moment and does not value the patients' time. Not sure how much communication and discipline the staff gets from the doctor, but clearly didn't care to remember that we were the people who called that we would be late. And if they are so darn packed they can't even allow 10 minute late patient, well then they shouldn't pack that much. In that kind of environment I doubt the quality of service would be so good. SO WE AREN'T GOING BACK AND NOT RECOMMENDING THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. IT'S A SHAME THIS DR WAS ON WASHINGTONIAN MAGAZINE AS RECOMMENDED PHYSICIAN!
