I have witnessed teachers going out for a smoke break then immediately walking back inside to tend to the children. Nicotine and baby's don't mix. I witnessed lots of police activitie there as well as DCF. The boy that runs the school hasd no place there. Kids accused the boy of kicking them. I had two children attend here and it was the worst experience as a parent. The first week, there were so many red flags. I went to pick up my children and the director was screaming at 1, 2 and 3 year olds. When I went to pay for my first week, there was a lot of confusion. I was told I'd have a 15% discount because I was enrolling two children, and then it became 10%. Fine, whatever. However, the accountant couldn't properly calculate how much I was supposed to pay. I had to show him. My oldest son was in so many classrooms that they kept losing his belongings. When I finally pulled them out, they still didn't give me all of his clothing because they couldn't find it. I'd shown up to get him and he was in someone else's clothes. He also came home in someone else's diaper. I was emailed while at work and was told I needed to come pick them up because they were short staffed. However, not every parent was emailed. Just certain ones. When I went to pick them up, DCF and the police were there. I was told after picking them up, I was told I'd receive an email that night letting parents know if kids could come the next day. I didn't receive an email until the next morning, on our way out the door just to be told only infants and 1 year olds could attend. I ended up having to miss work and said, screw this, I'm finding them somewhere else to go. My kids started attending January 2 and I pulled them January 25. Worst experience ever. We loved this school when we found it about 2 years ago when my daughter was 3. The old owner was amazing with the kids and all the teachers were wonderful. When the new owners took over this year I had high hopes but they were quickly dashed when the teachers all had to walk out due to not being paid. The first time it happened I let it go, the new director took over who had been there for years with the previous owner. But when it happened a second time and I had to pick my daughter up early again, who by the way at the age of 5 was in a dark classroom by herself with the chairs up on the desks like it was closed, I knew we needed to walk away finally. Please find another school for your kids to attend, this one is completely unstable Under the new owners. read more

High quality daycare at a competitive cost. Ages 1-5 years with morning VPK and wrap around care. Amazing staff and director/owner on site daily. No sitting in front of the TV. Kids are outside playing, inside at centers, singing and dancing, playing board games, or reading books. Positive reinforcement rules at this facility. Loving, educated teachers who have been there long term (some 10+ years) provide exceptional care and take the time to get to know the children personally. I have had my children cared for at other daycare facilities and have had private nannies. This is by far the best experience I have ever had. We recently moved to north Lakeland and I changed daycares for my convenience. After 3 months, I moved them back. I am now driving an extra hour a day to provide my children with high quality child care that I can't seem to find anywhere else. I have 3 kids at this facility (22 months, 4 years, 6 years). They have never so much misplaced a sippy cup. My kids race in the door in the morning when I drop them off and are smiling when I pick then up. If you want your children pristine upon pick-up, this isn't the daycare for you. These kids have played in sand, swung, climbed, colored, painted, splashed and sweated. My son grew so much here in this loving, nurturing facility. The children have so many engaging activities, and they do not sit them in front of t.v. or computers, they get enough of that at home, right! The director is so wonderful, on site, and actively involved in every child. She will make accommodations for those children who do not fit into the same cookie cutter! They realize that children are unique. They hug and say I love you all day and use appropriate intervention without punishment or shame. The children there are so happy, they run up to me and hug me and don't even know who I am.... you can tell they feel safe and loved! More facilities should model themselves after you, Miss.
