On May 2017 I fell in love with a dress at your shop, I was 7-months pregnant and HUGE, but made the mistake of buying it in my usual size hoping it would fit me one day. A year later, I finally lost all the weight and can now fit into all my clothes. I was so excited to finally wear your dress, but even back at my regular size that dress is so small on the chest I will never be able to wear it. I called your shop and explained my story, confirmed the dress was intact, never worn, with tags, receipt, and even in the original shopping bag, and I received a call back to let me know "the owner would not allow an exchange" (I wasn't even asking for a refund). Understandable, right? Well, if you would have allowed the exchange you would have a gorgeous brand new dress to sell at full price. In order to get the $114 value of the exchange, I would have easily gone over that amount and spend some more money at your boutique. More importantly, you'd have a happy costumer looking forward to coming back. Instead, you have a former costumer that is left with a negative experience. I will make sure to share this story and leave my reviews where I can. I will resell the dress at my friend's consignement store to get some of my money back, and then I will go spend that money anywhere else but your shop. Sometimes it's worth revisiting your policies. Miss Monroe has it all. From timeless to trendy jewelry, clothing, and shoes, if you need an entire outfit-you'll find it there. I don't need to drive all the way up to homestead or Miami anymore for a great shoe or bag. Another thing is that there are great basics here at good prices to mix up casual items with the more elaborate or formal items. Best accessories in the Keys hands down.
