Even the selection of gifts for kids has clearly been carefully selected. I ended up buying 5 or 6 things and could have certainly found more. The owner of the shop was very friendly and helpful. Nearly everything on the menu relies on milk, cream, or cheese. I couldn't find a single non-dairy option, and the staff didn't have substitutions to offer. I know Key West locations nearby have dairy-free choices, so it's possible here too--just not on the menu or offered as an accommodation. That's a miss for an inclusive food business in 2026.

The Village Square entrance is a bit set in through a gate in a fence...very inconspicuous if you don't know it's there. So we made a u-turn and headed back...My first stop was the Miss Monroe Boutique as I was looking for a certain kind of bag that I wanted to buy. Very cute store - like a mix of Etsy and Lily Pulitzer...unique and distinct items. From there we walked around and checked out all the cool vendor stalls...My favorite was the plants - so beautiful and lush...macrame holders, etc....We also went to Cafe Moka for a coffee and a snack.
