Cool ambiance in the middle of nowhere with a real rustic feel to it. Friendly personnel, fair prices and good food. They also have a variety of exotic sodas (Jarritos). Ordered the pulled pork sandwich. Fast service. Less than 10 minutes. The taste was good but I think they could have had more bbq sauce mixed in with the pork. They also have a store with all kinds of bbq-gadgets.

And the White Guide called it one of the top five restaurants in Helsingborg. So, we looked forward to a romantic evening with good food. Didn't happen... When we came to the restaurant (I'd booked a table), the waitress gave us a table. Fine. After 15 min., when we still were sitting with a glass of water, the waitress came and said that we had to change table. So we did. After 30 min we finally ordered. My wife was really in to the rabbit. Sorry, we're out of rabbit - one hour after they opened. We took the cold anti pasti, nothing special (they just sliced up some not so good prosciutto, salami etc). One hour after the anti pasti, the ox dish we ordered (don't know the name, but it is from the back go the ox) came. My dish was almost decent, but my wife's was just bits and peaces of tendons and fat. Not ok. My wife took just a bite of the food and left the rest. Unedible. For dessert we had Tiramissou. Soggy, no filling to talk about, no taste - it was awful. We, as amateurs, do a much better Tiramissou. So much for the white guide - they must be bribed or drunk when they judged the Trattoria Gentile, that's for sure. And it's expensive... About $200 for the dinner? NOT worth it! Don't go there, it's as simple as that, believe me!
