These are friendly, very motivated individuals who are proud of their restaurant. They just recently opened but they must have one heck of a training program. From order takers to cleanup, all were friendly and professional. The décor is one that inspires pride in the armed forces and first responders. They have memorials, sayings, décor throughout the store. What to me was an unexpected pleasure was at noon, they played the Star Spangled Banner and everyone (patrons and employees alike) stood up with men's hats off and at attention or hands over their hearts singing it with an applause from all following. The food was very good. We had the brisket sandwich with cole slaw and baked beans. A complimentary cheese cake (as I am a vet) was also included. The brisket (I could not tell the difference between the lean and moist) was well smoked chucks of briskets with a pleasant dry rub. They have a choice of 6 sauces to choose or have it naked. The items are smoked on the premises. The baked beans were very good with just a tang of smoke and the cole slaw was moist. A generous helping of both. Their dessert is a creamy cheesecake with caramel. Delicious. They have an extensive Smoked Menu items from turkey, chicken, pork, beef, salmon, ribs etc. Very impressed and definitely on our list to return and try new items. read more

I went to Mission BBQ for takeout dinner with a friend on a Wednesday evening. - The menu was easy to understand and included a good diversity of entrees and side dishes, so there are plenty of options even if you're trying to eat on the healthier side. - The service was quick (in & out within 8 minutes) and the staff was friendly. - Most important of all, the food was delicious. - While we picked up dinner to eat elsewhere, the atmosphere was nice and seems like a good place to sit down with friends/family. This was our first time trying this place. Hate to say it, but I wasn't a huge fan. We got the ribs, tasted like celery on the outside. The fresh cut fries were nothing stellar, the mac and cheese was a huge let down, the corn bread was good, the beef brisket was good....all of the sauces did no to thing for us. I cook a lot at home and this just gives me a reason not go out and keep eating my own food. What a let down, was looking for good bbq tonight. read more

Victoria and Cydney brought BBQ for 50 people to my daughters backyard for a party last week. They were awesome, and the buffet table was beautifully displayed with the food, tablecloths, and assorted decor. Food was beyond delicious! Had a dr. appt.so was looking for someplace new to have lunch.We remembered this place just opened nearby. We both ordered brisket sandwiches with fries and drinks. We were asked if we wanted to purchase the DUO cup for our drinks and we did as my husband is a 24 year veteran. As he picked up our food order, the girl thanked him for purchasing the cups. He said " Of course as I have been to U.S.O.'s several times while in the Navy. " We sat down and all of a sudden a young lady came over and thanked him for his service and put down a tray with a handwritten paper that said " Thank you for your service " and a bowl of chocolate caramel cheesecake that he really enjoyed !! The place is decorated with lots of service memorabila.( They even have Veteran parking in front.) The sandwiches ,were very tasty and had a six pack of different bbq sauces on the table. read more

This place is surprisingly good for a chain and one that offers a national sampler of bbq styles. I've lived in NC, TX, and near Kansas City and this joint does justice to those regions. The sides are exceptional, especially the beans. Ohio is no longer a bbq wasteland! I'll be back. read more

Today was our first time trying curbside pick-up and also the food. The person taking orders over the phone had to check if the turkey and chicken was white or dark. We ordered 1/2 lb. of brisket (lean) and 1/2 lb. of turkey (white meat). The brisket had good flavor but was a little dry. The turkey was much tastier and was very moist. Each came with a small piece of cornbread that was also dry and fell apart. We were told to pull up outside by the patio which we did at the time we said we would arrive. No one brought our order out so I had to don my mask and go inside. As I was heading to the counter, an employee was coming out to the dining room so I inquired about my order. The employee was very rude and said what kind of car are you driving . . . I'm not out there. If they want people to use the curbside pick-up, they should have someone monitoring when people pull up. It's not curbside if I have to go inside to get my order. read more
