It started malfunctioning in the early part of the winter during that super cold stretch. On off - on off... I sure didn't want it to die during the night. I panicked and called a different company out to ck the heater over. Whoever Mike's Mechanical sent out forgot to clean some basic little temperature probe. The new service guy hooked up a meter, up came a code and it ID'd the problem instantly. The new guy cleaned the probe and the furnace has been functioning fine ever since.

This takes quite awhile. Only after that do they present several quotes ranging thousands of dollars and including work they propose based on the inspection. In the end even the lowest quote they provided us was $500 more than another electrician had quoted us. Use caution and learn from our mistake!
