They will show up completely unannounced, refuse to communicate with you if you call to ask questions. When the owner does finally talk to you, you'll get the message you should be thankful they decided to do any work for you at all. And no, in my opinion, the owner of the property wasn't treated much better.

The young skinny guy with the glasses is rude and unprofessional. Probably the owner's son. When it came to scheduling. The owner was completely rude and impatient. Then he asked if I was the tenant, because they like to treat tenants like second class citizens. Previously a couple years back the same kid with the glasses tried to walk past my wife through our front door when she answered it. He said who he was and then just tried to walk in past her not even waiting for her to get out of the way trying to force her out of the way basically. another time while 1 person was working on the central heating and Air he was sitting on our Christmas tree in the box smashing the box in. The owner said they would be here at 9am. 9:15 rolls around and I call for an update which I shouldn't have had to do, and they said they would be here in a couple minutes. 25 minutes later they show up. I explain how the owner was rude they called the owner and the owner told them to leave. Which is great, because they don't deserve the business. I have dealt with the other HVAC companies in town, and none of them were unprofessional like this. My recommendation is to go with any other company. They all got great reviews from me!

When Gary's heating was retiring, he turned his clients toward Lazer heating. I asked Lazer to…read moresend someone out. Someone named Rob Sinner was their tech at the time and he came and worked on furnaces (3 of them) in our apartments in a rental house. I had some background in gas furnace work, so was not ignorant as most women are expected to be. I was told by Rob Sinner that two of the furnaces had cracked heat exchangers, and he pointed to a crack on a silver plate that one could see near the holes where flames were visible. He gave me a $4500 estimate to replace just one furnace. I called Gary back in, and he said, "Those are just plates attached over top of the heat exchanger, and you have no problem here, there are not any cracks in your heat exchanger. So there you have it folks... if you look like a sucker, you'll be given misinformation to get you to prematurely buy a new gas furnace. I've never since used Lazer heating.

I will never recommend this company for anyone. Expensive and not reliable. Worked on air…read moreconditioner and and they admitted the could not find the problem. Paid a total of $522.00 and they never found the leak. First visit last about 30 minutes. Michael claimed second visit was about an hour and half so charged me for two hours ($180.00). I have an older furnace and a crawl space access with limited room for larger technicians. I have…read morehad other techs perform this service in the past, but I have also had a company show up and was unable to complete the work because of their inability to fit in the crawl space. I described the scenario in intricate detail when booking this reservation and was assured they understood and would send appropriate workers. However, when the gentlemen arrived, I could tell right away they would have difficulties. It was also quite obvious that they had no clue about this assignment and were surprised they would be required to access a crawl space. It was only about 15 minutes before they indicated to me they could not perform the work and I had taken the day off for no reason. Again, I had explained the situation thoroughly and received affirmation that they understood and would send a smaller technician. This reservation was made several weeks in advance because of their schedule. Had I known of their inability to follow through, I could have actively pursued a more capable company. I am unable to give anything but one star since this was a complete mission failure by B&F and 100% avoidable. I will add that both techs seemed otherwise friendly and capable, but I will never know if or how qualified they were since they could not clean my ducts as promised. Additionally, I was told they would be contacting me to reschedule with a more suitable person to access the space, but that was four days ago and I have yet to receive any communication, apology, or attempt to remediate.

We have had intermittent problems with a slow drain under the slab in our basement that we know has…read morea hole in it. I messaged Drain Pro to get them to map the pipe so the plumbers could replace it. They responded to my inquiry quickly and showed up exactly when they said they would. They checked the pipe, found that it was mostly just clogged, and showed us that the hole is very small and likely does not need replacement at this point. Then he gave us advice on how to keep it clear without them having to do it regularly, but also that he's happy to keep checking it for us going forward. Additionally, we had a power outage literally right as he was about to put the snake down the pipe, but they came back a couple hours later (well after 6pm) when the power was back and did the job. Then they didn't charge me an arm and a leg! The guys were very polite, went out of their way to be neat (going around the house instead of through it), and cleaned up after themselves. Couldn't be happier. I hope I don't need their services anymore, but I'll happily use them again if I do.
