This review is based on my experience with the Service and Parts Department. I did not purchase my car from here. I needed to get my car repaired. Being relatively new to the west end, I found Mississauga Toyota on Google Maps. Closest to my home, I decided to come here to get my car repaired. The Service + Parts Department opens at 8 so I went first thing. This location is very clean and staffed very well. As soon as I got here, there was someone to assist me immediately. He examined my car to determine what needed to be done. After I paid for the repairs, there was another staff member who walked me to where my car was parked. I've leased three RAV4 Hybrids from Mississauga Toyota over the past 9 years and was preparing to buy a fourth -- until my recent service experience. This spring, I noticed a significant drop in fuel efficiency on my 2022 RAV4 Hybrid. When I called the service department, I was told by Albert that my mileage was "normal" and similar to his own. I followed up with a detailed email to the service manager requesting diagnostics -- but received no response at all. I then took the vehicle to another Toyota dealership, where they performed a throttle body and EFI system cleaning. The issue was immediately resolved, and fuel economy returned to normal -- confirming there was a clear and demonstrable cause. While I'm still happy with my RAV4 and plan to stick with Toyota, I've lost confidence in Mississauga Toyota's service support and will be purchasing my next vehicle from a different dealership. read more

Really, this dealership cares only about sales. But they sale junk too. 2 years ago I picked up my Toyota Corolla Cross after more than 1 year waiting (of course they rise initial Price). The car is build probably for southern climate, because whenever temperature drops below minus 10C, there are displays "visit your dealer". What a terrible experience Poor customer service and poor communication I came at 909am to drop-off my car and had told the advisor I need a drop off. I was told the shuttle is outside please wait in the lounge. 15mins go by and nothing. So I go back in and say what's happening? I'm told the driver is in port credit bc he was given the wrong address. What?? I thought he was outside? I ask to speak to a manager. Advised to wait outside. Come back after 10mins...where is the manager? He's in his office. Message once again not relayed. Finally the manager arranged for a ride for me and I'm late for my meeting. All this could have been avoided by telling me there is no shuttle and I would have called an uber. But wait. That's not all. I get a call at 1145am saying my car is done, and there was no issues. Great. I'm offered a ride - I say please come at 3pm, driver is not available, I say ok no problem when can the driver pick me up? I'm told 330pm for sure. Great. 315pm, I get a call saying there is a delay, I say ok how long? He said maybe 15 mins. Sure 345pm no problem. 4pm comes around. Nothing. I call, once again, asking for an update. "The car is on the way" 405pm car picks me up. I liked this place before they offered shuttle service - if you can't commit to offering shuttle service, then don't. *** AVOID AVOID AVOID *** If you're looking to purchase a car, avoid this location and give your business to another Toyota dealership. The owner/president, Susan Gubasta, and the service manager, Anthony Gallucci, exhibit ongoing unprofessionalism, dishonesty, and poor customer service. My experience with them has been terrible! The dealership's communication and customer service are appalling. They fail to honour promised warranty coverage and show no interest in resolving ongoing customer issues. I purchased a used Camry hybrid in June 2023, and the car had undisclosed damages, including severe damage to the rear, a damaged rim, and a gashed tire. Attempts to address these issues were met with unhelpful responses and blame-shifting - Anthony claimed that I hit a curb and took apart the tire myself. Anthony was very defensive, rude, and uncooperative. Despite having warranty coverage, resolving issues with the damaged tire and rim became a prolonged and frustrating process. To date, this issue has yet to be resolved. In October 2023, I found alignment issues with the back seat, possibly related to an undisclosed accident. When inquiring about the car's history, Anthony was uncooperative and defensive yet again. When purchasing my car, I was told that Susan's elderly father was the only driver of the car prior, which led me to believe that a nondisclosed accident occurred, and repairs were completed without proper documentation. When mentioning this to Anthony, he called me a racist and sexist towards elderly men, yet I was trying to understand what had happened to my car by providing the information that was given to me by my sales rep. To date, this issue has yet to be resolved. In January 2024, my windshield cracked, and communication with the dealership about warranty coverage was confusing and their communication worsened. Despite initially confirming coverage by Albert Hung (service rep), he later claimed I wasn't covered. He had first said my warranty included a one-time $400 coverage off the total replacement cost of my windshield, but 3 days later revoked it claiming that the warranty has now since changed. I demanded a call from Anthony, who finally responded and called me at 7:30 pm. Despite all my unresolved issues to date, he not only denied honouring the $400 discount claiming it wouldn't happen, but he takes zero ownership for the prolonged ongoing issues. I have reached out to the dealership owner/president, Susan, multiple times, but she has not responded (7 months now). Guess I can stop holding my breath for a returned call at this point. Toyota should also enforce stricter rules - having close family members (ie. owner's father) drive demo cars is a HUGE conflict of interest. This whole situation could have been avoided. Attempts to resolve these issues through calls and visits proved fruitless. The dealership's overall lack of accountability, poor communication, and disregard for customer satisfaction make it imperative to steer clear of this location. I bought my Camry at this dealership several years ago and I'm back with my Niece to window shop for her first vehicle. You'll find both new and pre-owned cars, trucks and SUV's on the lot. This is a full service auto centre with a repair shop, body shop, and sales. There's a customer lounge area while you wait and enough things to keep a child entertained too. I received great service here in the past and that's why we're back. The reason for a 3-Star rating was that no dealership staff even approached us... not even to say welcome (except for the Receptionist)! read more

We were sold a used car with a non-disclosed faulty engine, whether they knew about this at the time of sale or not they are not taking liability for this misrepresentation in the sale even though it contradicts Motor Vehicle Dealers Act as well as the Consumer Protection Act. They have only offered to place a new or replacement engine in the used car with a discount on labour for upwards of $5500.00 on a car worth $7700. It has only been 3+ months since purchase and we are now forced to go through OMVIC to try to recuperate losses. DO NOT BUY HERE. Jon Hall the general manager of this company has been nothing but completely unhelpful and recommended that I read up on contractual law and to direct all further communications to their "legal team". This Toyota is a lifesaver, don't come across amazing service often - had an emergency and drove in. For some reason my wipers weren't squirting fluid. They asked me to pop the hood and diagnosed the problem in less than a minute. They did it from the garage, not in the Bay Area as I was in a rush to go somewhere. They did it free of charge and gave me extra fluid. Additionally, they offered me a car wash! But, I was in too much of a rush and they already did so much for me, I politely declined! I have noticed a noise when turning on a tight circle to the right after replacing the drive axle today. Apparently my 2019 Rav4 Ltd was not road tested hence the problem was not detected. I was given an appointment for replacing the drive shaft on the 20th of June, 2024 but was cancelled since the parts was not ready at the dealership, wasting a whole day on my part. I wasted one day, and today I called for service and wasted my time for the second time since the noise problem exists after the drive shaft was replaced. The service advisor did not take proper care as the car was not road tested to gurrantee customer satisfaction. Now I had to take the vehicle for the third time to fix the noise problem. Who would pay me for the two days that I had to spend at the dealership as to fix my vehicle? I need an explanation from the management of the dealership and compensate me for the loss of time. read more

I've always had great service with my Toyota dealerships. I bought my first Toyota at the dealership that used to be at Front and Spadina, but changed to Mississauga Toyota when I realized it was a little bit closer and far easier to get to! I have been happy with the service and with the attitude and professionalism of the staff - from service, to sales, to reception! I drove my first Toyota for 15 years and because of the excellent maintenance it received at the dealership, I was able to pass it along to my grand daughter when I decided to go hybrid! I have visited last June 08, 2021 to first service for my new RAV4 purchased from same show room which was delivered last March 19, 2021. I find they are not very fast in their work. Only for wheel rotation and other routine inspection they took more than a hour. I asked them the maintenance schedule then they provide me. They are not at all customer friendly, need to improve their service. Service Center should provide a folder where all the service related bill/document can be presereved. read more

Went to Mississauga Toyota to get another lease and had the worst experience ever. The sales person lied and said the Rav4 I wanted was not available, then I proved him wrong by looking it up on line in his office. The sales manager never came to meet me. Treated me like I am stupid. I asked for my quotes and the sales person told me he would text them to me. They never followed up on my visit. Worst experience every. Made an appointment at another Toyota dealership and purchaed the Rav 4 that I wanted. Milton Toyota saved the day. This is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. I brought my car in for an 8am oil change and 2.5 hours late it still wasn't done. They have to get me a rental car and mid afternoon it was still not completed. There were no issues with the car, it was an oil change and break fluid change. I have never experienced this with any other dealership. The most I have waited for a service is a couple of hours, which is still long but I can at least appreciate that Things can go wrong with other cars they have in the shop. The gentleman seemed annoyed when I tried to enquire further. I've had a generally negative experience with Toyota this time around. This is my third and last Prius. So far they've pointed out I had the 144k service already (my last mechanic did it 6K early to get rid of some engine noise and I forgot) and that I really only need to replace two of my summer tires not all four. During my time here at this dealership. I could not help but be on my toes from all the salesman that are tricky and manipulative. But after speaking to Jim the salesman, a very knowledgeable man about the products of Toyota I felt at ease. He was straight forward and not pushy about sales. And would recommend only the best. The showroom was clean and spacious, well organize, the only thing they are lacking are more brochures. If the interest rates only was good as the their product I might've walked off with a brand new car. I'll definitely be back in this showroom. If there is no stars option, I would have given this dealership just that. Drove into the service bay with the front driver door needing to find a reason why it opens intermittently. After standing there for 15 minutes, Lisa at service told me to wait some more and after accommodating her (I felt like she is the customer and I am service) and there was nobody else there, the techs show up to diagnose what is going on with my door that was opened previously by my other mechanic and needed a missing part, nevertheless, she said that I needed to come back another day and drive with my car like this (no care in the world) and zero respect. I have purchased two vehicles from Mississauga Toyota over the last 7 years (both 4Runners) and they have demonstrated a level of professionalism each time which made the process virtually effortless. They listen to what you want, understand what you need, and get it to you for a competitive price. I travel a fair bit for work, but it has been my preference to use these folks for my service work whenever practical. They don't take shortcuts. They do it right. I have used other dealerships and 3rd party service shops in the past, and quite frankly, I have found over the years that this dealership's service department is better than most. I see a prior review slamming the cost of changing tires of $170, or approx. $150+HST (which I can only assume means changing summer to winter tires, balancing them, and moving over the tire pressure sensors and resetting them). I've used other shops to do this in the past - if you want it done right, that's what it costs. While I recognize there are some people who want something for nothing, personally I take excellent care of my car and I will not compromise. You get what you pay for. When you get your car serviced with these guys, you're not going to a big box discount store or Canadian Tire where I could easily rhyme off a half dozen horror stories my family has experienced over the last 20 years. This dealership does it right, or they make it right, from my experience. Yes, they can get busy and sometimes the wait times are longer than expected, but they are excellent at setting expectations when you drop off the car. I have never been made a promise for completion that has been unrealistic. If you're in for a long wait, they let you know. read more

I had winter tire installed. Rep helped me as expected but service to my car was half done. Since my car has tire inflation detection, mechs, either did not put in nitrogen air or did not register new tires with car's system. As a result, I have this annoying low tire pressure light on my dashboard. And was told to just keep a look out for flat tire and wait until summer tire were installed back. I mentioned the lights were on to Rep when paper work was being set up and also saw the light were on; it was not looked after. I tried resetting it my self following a vey simple instruction in car manual, but it did not work - have the car serviced it says. One of the features I like and reason I bought the car. Secondly, my wheel locking nuts were not installed to which I paid extra for when I bought the car new, three months back. I'm concern that it's lost. I found out, it wasn't installed hours after I've left the shop. I was already too upset to ask and go back what happened to it. Calling and speaking with them over the phone is another issue. Sigh. They're only nice if they're making you a deal. As soon as you say you would think about it, they would give you a cold shoulder. That's not all ! They said that if I get a test drive, I would get a 25$ gift card. At the end (after the deal) when I gave out my coupon, I can feel the receptionist was making fun of me in the back, and they were really rude when answering me about the gift card. In the end, NO GIFT CARD was given as promised with excuse that the key guy isn't there. So now, even if they give me the deal I wanted, I won't take it. I will probably return to Mississauga Toyota for my future service needs and my next car purchase when my 2006 Avalon needs to be replaced. Most people has dream cars like mercedes and bmw. I just wanted a camry (almost top of the line). I was dreaming of getting a 2012 since I first saw one of the leaked pics back in August 2011. I also swore only to buy from a place and salesman that comes up and wants to help me. It happened with Jim while I was there doing maintenance to my car at their service department. Michael took over my case to get the financing. With my history, this was quite difficult, but Michael spent quite a bit of time to do this. and now I own my very own Camry Hybrid XLE (without the leather seats, cause I hate those). I was purchasing a vehicle for my mother and requested quotes online from this dealership and others in the area. It was a very simple replacement of her 2002 Corolla with a new 2015 Corolla. She had already picked out the model and trim package that she wanted. From Mississauga Toyota, I received a very prompt response from Yasmin at the dealership on pricing and availability. The sale was then passed along to Peter Teper whom requested that the trade in be brought into the dealership for inspection which it was that very afternoon. I responded the next day accepting the offer by email and asked them to send me a copy of the formal offer in writing. They refused to put the details into an offer and email it to me - insisting that we return to the dealership to discuss the deal. Peter is telling me that it is his boss that insists we come in and I got the immediate sense they were playing car dealership games. The fact that they wouldn't put what was offered to me by email into an actual offer is very concerning and I would caution others that the dealership will likely attempt to add additionals once you arrive. This to me was a lack of respect for peoples time and overall disappointing that the dealership isn't willing to put their quotes into writing and send it to me. My mother has difficulty getting around and this drive to continually get back into the dealership is very upsetting. I am in the transportation business and have bought entire fleets on spec. without ever seeing the vehicles or the salesperson. Overall a poor experience for me and I'd recommend that you continue to push for costs in writing before you enter the dealership. Every other dealership does this and we've simply moved on to another dealership that had a slightly higher price but will put it actually in writing. read more

First, when they returned the car after service it was still showing "maint reqrd" light on the dashboard. Even my tires need to be replaced due to the tread condition all were checked as in good condition. I can give many other examples regarding the real condition of the car comparing to the after service report. After consulting a mechanic regarding my vehicles battery (?) performance issues. I decided to take my truck to Mississauga Toyota (many years ago-run by honest individuals) but this was a big mistake. My battery was tested, and deemed fine (by the other mechanic) but the alternator was suspected to be the reason for my vehicles problems. An appointment was made for the following day at M.T. During check-in, I was quoted $120.00 for the diagnostic (4 hours later) after I called three times, I finally got in touch with the service crew, and was told it was the alternator (shocker!). I was then quoted $320 for the part, and a maximum/capped labour cost of 2.5 hours- $120.00 per hour, and opps...we can't do this until tomorrow- waiting on a part I know they had because the day before I inquired about the part. I was completely under the impression that the labour cost would be adjusted if it took less time, but the max. cost would be $300.00. I informed the administrator that I was quoted tops an hour of labour- and then told, its possible but the mechanic quoted this price due to the severe rust, and based on his experience this was the estimated time. I agreed to do the work based on his advice, otherwise I could have driven my truck to another mechanic-I gave the okay at 2:26pm, and by 3:40ish-pm the work was done. I definitely expected the cost adjustment but was shocked when they refused to honour their agreement to me, and charged me $300.00 for an hour of labour- no payment, no truck!. I was forced to comply!. So, I was mislead about the labour cost, adjustment, and they straight-up lied about the need to replace my battery. The light he claimed to still be on in my paper work- is not lit up on my dash!- SHOCKER! They lost my business, and my future purchase of a new vehicle (my 4th Toyota) Go elsewhere!...save the $300 - $500 (if I bought the new battery) over-charge!, and bad experience! read more

Booking and confirming the appointment was easy. Spent at the service center for less an hour (first visit: tire rotation, regular check). I also wanted to have the driver's door inspected as it jars at bumpy roads. However, I was told that if this is not a maintenance issue I could be charged about $50.00. Refused to have it inspected as it was a minor issue but felt frustration over the service center's attempt to charge for the pure service maintenance thing. read more

I guess that's the norm for your dealership since I have never had a good customer interaction and dread coming in. Trust me, I will make sure it doesn't happen again - by going to a better dealer and service drpartment You should also have the decency to lend umbrellas to customers if it's raining and their cars were left far by your technicians ....,or here is an idea....bring the car to the front! July 03, 2018 SERVICE VISIT "Van Certification Scam" - Scammed! I Bought a so called CERTIFIED used 2014 Toyota Sienna AWD van with a full tank of gas from Mississauga Toyota and parked it in my garage for 3 months, never using it since I didn't need the van at that moment and still with all the dealer promo stickers, door bumpers, even the pouch with their stock number still attached to the inside of the windshield.. I did start it up once in a while to keep things fresh.. I bought it because it was for the wife and it was the the Limited AWD which was hard to find with low KM's and in nice shape. After recently getting it insured and on the road for 3 days and traveling no more than 65 KM's total. I went in to MT to check the brake pedal for a banging noise under the dash when applying and releasing the brake pedal and they told me that my rotors and or pads are wore out? which had nothing to do with the original pedal banging noise complaint, but they knew that I'd be back so when I did come back they quickly put the van on the lift and removed all 4 wheels to show me the bad brakes, which again had nothing to do with the brake pedal banging when I appied then released the brake pedal... So thats 3 month's of storage in a garage and roughly a 1/4 tank of gas used, and mostly used to run the engine in the garage, and approximately 65 KM's after the certification my brakes are shot? with heavy pitting and gouges on the rotors?... The dealer REFUSED! to do anything about it but gave me an estimate of around $900.00 for a 4 wheel brake job as they did the "well boyz, will it last a month, cuz thats all we needz by law" for the cerification, or another scam is when they back date the certification so it expires 1 to 2 days after you register the vehicle, so they are all free and clear of any responsibility, and the 31 days of proper certification have magically turned into only 1or 2 days, and thats all legal, but if you want to be honest and retain your customer base, then thats illegal... I paid over $28000 cash for this van with a $1900 useless extended waranty that they farm out to others under their extended waranty program (when they, (duh), don't know whats wrong with the vehicle).. I got SCREWED by this so called "Missisauga Toyota Family" as the brakes are NOT covered under the extended waranty?... So what did I pay for? They give ALL CAR dealers a on going bad reputation and would rather have a bad reputation than happy customers... Read the other negative feedbacks posted here and ignore the positive ones as they are posted by fake customers like their employees. So tell your friends or anyone that is in the market to buy a vehicle to STAY AWAY FROM THESE MISSISSAUGA TOYOTA SCAMMERS or you too will be scammed like I was. I was also suposed to get a complementary van wash and the 1st oil change according to their fancy sales brochure neither of which happend and I guess it never will... SCAMMERS! However, a more proactive approach would have been appreciated in communicating about the delay (Thursday, instead of Monday) in delivery of the new Camry we decided to buy. Just got back from the dealership from a routine oil change. For the second time it took 2 hours to complete a routine service. The manager of the service department just kept making excuses and told me when it would be a better time to come in to reduce service time. When an appointment is made for a service and it still takes too long to complete, this is unacceptable. I would not recommend this dealership at all! If you have a lot of time to waste, go here, if you value your time find a different dealer to go to! read more
