After my right total knee replacement on May 18, 2026, I ran into major delays due to an outside rehab facility losing paperwork and failing to submit for insurance pre-authorization. By the time I finally started rehab 15 days after surgery, complications required me to undergo a manipulation under anesthesia (MUA). It was a painful setback, but getting into therapy right away with Olivia Rose made all the difference in the world. From day one, Olivia was absolute perfection. I often joked with her about being "mean" to me during our sessions, but in all reality, her persistent drive, incredible knowledge, passion fir her trade, and top-tier expertise were exactly what I needed. She knew how to push me through the toughest parts of the rehab process safely and effectively. Thanks to her dedication, patience, and unwavering belief in my recovery, I am now mostly pain-free and genuinely feel like I've been given a new lease on life. I also want to give a special shout-out to her colleague, Mackenzie Gerau, who stepped in seamlessly whenever Olivia was unavailable. Both Olivia and Mackenzie are extraordinarily kind, professional, knowledgeable, and put their whole hearts into their work. Finally, my appreciation also goes out to Dr. Aggarwal and his complete surgical team for doing an amazing job and providing phenomenal care throughout my knee replacement and MUA procedure. Concerning Error in Report - Patients, Please Read Your Reports Carefully…read more Our experience with this radiology provider was unacceptable and should raise concern for anyone who values accurate, responsible healthcare. A radiologist reported on the condition of an organ that had been surgically removed months prior -- stating, in writing, that the gallbladder was "normally distended with no gallstones." The patient had no gallbladder at the time of the exam. This is not a harmless oversight. It reflects a serious breakdown in attention to detail, and raises questions about whether the images were truly reviewed or whether templated text was used without verification. We attempted multiple follow-ups through phone calls and the patient portal. No one from the facility ever responded. The only action taken was a quiet, unexplained addendum to the report stating, "patient actually is post cholecystectomy," with no apology or clarification. Patients: read your radiology reports carefully. If something doesn't match your medical history, say something--and insist on a response. These reports are part of your permanent medical record and are often used to guide future decisions. If you experience a similar error or lack of accountability, I strongly encourage you to file a complaint with the Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts. Accurate diagnostics and professional integrity should be non-negotiable.

They have blankets and recliners and televisions and snacks and even a little old lady assistant to help you with whatever you want. I was SO excited, thrilled, ecstatic when I found out there were two doctors in Missouri that were on the Polypvac. Hey it's better than none. But than no one would tell me the cost of this procedure without going to an appointment. FYI...It's a newish procedure where they vac out your polyps by the root. A clinical study was done in 2015 Canada. I wanted this to work out so badly I made an appointment and asked if they accepted my insurance, they said they did. Bad on me for not following up on that one. Because in the end they are NOT on my insurance (and my insurance does not cover "out of network") and I've been billed $250 for a fifteen minute consultation. Guess I'll lose the farm )-; I almost starting crying in her office when she started with the polypvac is not 100% and we will need to do allergy testing. Wait a minute I just told you I went to several allergist in the last few months, thank you. And I'm still paying off the bills for the allergy testing. "No, no I do a more in depth allergy testing, it's concentrated not watered down like the others" she said. Unfortunately allergies, asthma and nasal polyps have become an unsolicited nightmare for me for years. And I've just dealt with it, coughing, gasping, losing sleep. This year was going to be different I really wanted to tackle these issues, resolve them and start anew. Yet doctor after doctor and I'm still with the same chronic sinusitis, severe asthma (using my inhaler at least 8x a day). Yeah...now I'm knee deep in debt that I will be paying off for the next three years and nope not better. Well after that visit and a somber ride home I went back to the polypvac website. Suspiciously her name was taken off the polypvac website, wait WHAT? I guess I was yammering on too much about that particular procedure. p.s. my husband took a day off of work to drive me two hours to her office and two hours back from St. Louis, MO. So four hours out of my day, my husband doesn't get paid for the day and a fifteen minute appointment.

She explained everything thouroughly and compassionately and then followed through with a plan that we decided on together. My surgery and recovery went smoothly and I could not be happier! My family sings her praises as well as the folks I met in the waiting room at her office where I went for my follow up care. I checked on line and I could not find any complaints against Dr. McGaughey. Her reputation and character was everything I expected and then some. He performed surgery on me to remove a fibroid tumor on my uterus and to remove my ovary. The surgery went well and in the process he actually discovered a cancerous tumor in my bladder which I had removed - I would never have found that in any timely fashion if it weren't for Dr. Schust! He is typically a fertility doctor. Highly recommended.
