Laura Wagner diagnosed me with ADHD (not what I came in for) and told me the only medication my insurance would cover was Adderall, but she doesn't prescribe Adderall because quote, "EVERGREEN STUDENTS JUST SELL ADDERALL FOR WEED." Why the hell would a student with NO history of substance abuse legal or otherwise, who was diagnosed by you in this very office, who is struggling every day with mental illness, EVER EVER sell adderall for something they can get down the street legally for much more reasonable prices than this bs? She told me she would prescibe me Adderall XR just until my insurance company was willing to cover Vyvance (not a bad idea) but I had to get an EKG first. So I wasted a day and spent another $200 at the clinic to get an EKG for her. It was very healthy, so I made an appointment (another $250) just to be told that she changed her mind again. I didn't take that, nobody should. So she accused me of drug pushing and threw a clipboard at me with a consent form for 0.1mg of Adderall XR and said quote, "YOU SHOULD BE GRATEFUL YOU'RE EVEN GETTING THIS." Laura Wagner's Hippocratic duties and my minimum-wage-earned payment to her were not enough motivation for her to treat disease. No, I must also be thankful. Maybe with enough thanks I can work my up to an adult's dose. I turned down that ignorant bs and haven't been in the office since. Now I can't afford to see a REAL psychiatrist because my savings were drained on the scam that is Laura Wagner, ARNP. Screw me for seeking professional care, right? Laura is not up to date on her field, does not listen to patients, lets personal bias interfere with patient treatment, doesn't keep her word, and has no apparent respect or grace toward the very vulnerable people she deals with. Don't let the shortage of local psychiatrists make you go here.

If you're on your own insurance plan, pay your bills, and show up on time, you'll probably have a perfectly fine experience. I genuinely liked my provider, and every member of the in-clinic staff I interacted with was kind, professional, and welcoming. I was a patient here for over a year. One of the biggest advantages was how quickly they could get you in--sometimes even with same-day appointments. During my time there, I never missed an appointment, never arrived late, and always paid every bill for both myself and my children on time. That's why what happened next was so shocking. Out of nowhere, I received a letter informing me that my entire family had been dismissed from the clinic and would no longer be receiving care. There was no explanation. I was actively undergoing treatment at the time, so I honestly assumed the letter had been sent in error. Trying to clear things up, I contacted the clinic. Alison DeBakker, Assistant Director of Operations, directed me to the billing department. I immediately called, left a voicemail requesting the status of my account, and waited. Then I called again. And again. Multiple voicemails, no returned calls. After getting nowhere with billing, I emailed the clinic administrators asking for someone to please call me back so I could understand what was happening. Jenifer Malone, Clinic Director of Operations, responded. Instead of providing an explanation, she told me they had already discussed the matter with someone on my account and, due to HIPAA laws, they could not discuss it with me. She then went one step further and instructed me not to contact the clinic again. To summarize: after more than a year as a reliable patient--always showing up, always paying my bills, and never causing any issues--I was blindsided by a decision to terminate care for both myself and my family. I was never given an explanation, never afforded a meaningful conversation, and was ultimately told not to reach out again. The medical care I received was good, and the front-office staff treated me well. Unfortunately, the way the administration handled this situation completely overshadowed that experience. Being abruptly dismissed from care without transparency or the opportunity to resolve the issue is something no patient should have to experience.

The front office staff have always been helpful & polite. My past physician Dr. Tui and current provider Olivia Finn have been wonderful. They have always been very kind, thoughtful and thorough, never feeling rushed. I always feel that my concerns are heard. Referrals for tests or, if needed, to see specialists have always been granted. Recommend highly.

I was unhappy that my doctor of many years, as the doc before him, left the practice and there was not a medical doctor replacement. That's old school, apparently. My new health care provider is an "advanced nurse practitioner", Heidi Sedra. I've been through some really odd health issues the last couple years and she has treated them very well, or referred me to one who can with lots of follow up on her part. Looking back on my past health needs, 99% of my reasons for seeing a doctor could have been equally taken care of by a nurse practitioner.

This is state-wide. It takes time to get ANY appointment with ANYONE. You have to fight. I have been in severe crippling pain for months. I have been poked, prodded and pricked by every hospital that is not in Seattle. I have not always been treated very nicely, especially at HRH. I rolled into this place (in a wheelchair) and was immediately greeted with warmth and kindness by the receptionist. She handed me a pager and within five minutes I was getting my vitals taken by very competent and kind staff. Percy himself is a hoot. Perhaps he is not everyone's cup of tea but I appreciate a straight shooter who does not waste my time. He did not hesitate to give me two injections to get me out of crippling pain. He encouraged me to keep up with my other MRI appointments. He helped me devise a better plan to help my diabetes. Time will tell about my pain but I have already scheduled myself for another appointment.

I've also had to remind them about important prenatal testing, including my NIPT and glucose test. I shouldn't have to tell my medical team what tests I need or chase down my own care. You have to constantly ask questions just to get basic information and education, and you see different OB/GYNs instead of having consistent care from someone who knows your pregnancy and history. I've had to advocate for myself every step of the way just to receive the bare minimum, which is frustrating--especially during such an important time in pregnancy.
