Don't know how as I got several emails, txts, etc to remind me, confirm, and fill out forms. DO NOT USE THIS CLINIC!!! They charge extra for services you may not need AND they over charge for contacts. My contacts were quoted at $700 per pair, when i can get them at many other locations for less than $140. OUTRAGEOUS!!!!! They also were going to chaefe $150 contacts fee when it is $50 everywhere else. Even though I was clear about reason for appointment, it had to be rescheduled due to the one and only dr that can prescribe for me wasn't available. Their website is not friendly and they require you to accept a test with no option to opt out which happens to have an out of pocket cost as insurance doesn't pay for it. I haven't met or seen a Dr yet but the appointment process and the online forms leave a bad taste. read more

EXTREMELY RUDE DISRESPECTFUL UNPROFESSIONAL EMBARRASSING AND HUMILIATING. when I arrived I was unaware of an extra medical exam on top of the eye exam. I politely declines and asked to cancel. I arrived an hour early. ("I signed off on paperwork via the link" didn't read it my mistake) the older Caucasian heavier set lady at the front refused to cancel my appointment with a $75 charge. I asked to speak to her supervisor and in the most un customer service tone refused stating "there is no supervisor available" I asked to speak to her doctor to discuss the fee and cancellation and yet again stated "I'm not letting you speak to my guest doctor if you don't leave u will call security and told me "have the day you deserve LOUD in front of everyone. Made an appt online via their website specifically selecting a date that listed the Dr my insurance portal had listed as taking it.received rapid fire txt the following day requesting sensitive identifying information , and then to say the Dr will be a guest Dr and they don't take my insurance. I responded to the assumed ai chat bot that I scheduled with Dr Kim based off insurance portal information to which they responded if I want Dr Kim I need to schedule when she's in office. WHICH I DID ON THEIR WEBSITE.I responded with a screen shot of the scheduling portal that very moment that still reflects Dr Kim for the entire day in question that I had scheduled for. I stated I did schedule when she's in office according to their own site and to please cancel my spot and remove all identifying and sensitive info already entered into online forms. No response has been received to confirm cancellation and they have not answered any phone calls. I do not trust whatever platform they are using to communicate with prospective customers\patients and feel basically scammed out of my sensitive information.get better equipment or hire actual human beings. read more

These people are inside a Lens Crafters in a mall. They did not give me a receipt when I went in for an eye exam, which I didn't realize until later. I sent an email requesting it and did not receive a response. I called the next day and was put on hold for 30 minutes - the only reason the call ended was because I went in person while on hold. The team was rude from initially walking in. They let someone cut me in line during check in, then proceeded to chat with other staff members in the room prior to checking me. When I asked to wear my contacts in public spaces they said no (despite safety concerns) and made me wait in the public spot without my lenses / glasses. They also force you to store your contacts in reusable storage cases rather than providing clean cases for each client to store their contacts -- gross. They were also not upfront about contact lenses charges for exams -- despite me reaching out multiple times beforehand to go over insurance and final prices. Would NOT recommend due to staff attitudes and overall cleanliness of the location. The appointment also started over 10 minutes late despite me showing up 10 minutes early. ***FRAUDULENT BUSINESS PRACTICES*** Be forewarned. Tiffany Kim is great at her job. She is kind and caring. My issue is not with her but with the idiots she has pushing paperwork. I was pre-charged for a contacts consultation in order to even schedule a future appointment to simply LEARN about contact lenses. Today I found out that my insurance was ALSO CHARGED for the contacts consultation fee. When I canceled the contacts consultation appointment (a week before the appointment), I was told I could NOT get a refund. I was fuming about this since I had not been told this prior to pre-paying. After being disrespected on the phone by one of the office reps, I told her the office practices there were "f***ing deceptive" and she yelled at me to "have the day you deserve" and promptly hung up on me. Wow. No sensitivity or ability to diffuse a tough customer call without resorting to immature tactics. When I tried calling back she would not take my call. I called around to other Lens Crafters in the area who indicated some confusion in why this location pre-charges customers for services that have yet to be rendered. I am warning you to not support this fraudulent business. I am still trying to work this whole situation out. Go to another Lens Crafters. And if you don't take my word for it, scroll through more reviews and see I'm not alone. I wish I had read reviews first. read more

I have been coming to this office for years, but my most recent experience was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. I was very unhappy with the request to place my credit card information on file in case insurance does not pay. In all the doctors' offices I have visited, I have never been asked to do this. Frankly, this is unreasonable. Shouldn't your office verify insurance coverage before a patient even comes in for an appointment? If there is a disagreement between what your office bills and what the insurance company decides to cover, that should not automatically become the patient's responsibility. You are not new to this business, and your office should know how to work with insurance companies and what to expect regarding reimbursement. I am already paying my required co-pay, and I do not appreciate being treated as a backup source of payment for billing issues between your office and the insurance company. I also have serious concerns about the security of my personal and financial information. Can you guarantee that my credit card and private information will not be exposed, hacked, leaked, or end up on the dark web? Given how common data breaches are, I find this request deeply concerning. Overall, I am extremely displeased with this policy and the way this situation was handled. I expect a clear explanation of why this is being required and what protections are in place before I would even consider providing such sensitive information. read more

The staff were really friendly- for them I would give 5 stars. The documents you have to fill out online or by phone before the appointment are really inconvenient. When the answer is 'no' it would still require you to put information in the box stating 'If yes please explain' before moving onto the next page. On the last page it would buffer before closing out and having to start all over again. Super frustrating! read more

I booked my appointment online on Saturday afternoon. I came in early on Monday to discuss the insurance coverage and the pricing of the exam. There was no way possible to give a 24 hour notice of cancellation. When I spoke with Dee she went over the cost, I did not expect the pricing to be so high. A $40 fee for a scan that by the way was never performed and a $55 fee for being a type 1 diabetic. I declined and asked to remove the appointment. Dee then exclaimed that I would be receiving a $75 no show/cancellation fee. I said fine reschedule it, and was honest and upfront and said I had no intention to attend the follow up as I still disagreed with all of the fees. Dee then told me that either way I am paying the add-on fees or the cancellation fees. I walked away gathered my thoughts and then came back to the counter at my scheduled time. At this point the animosity was heavy on both sides. Every one besides the front desk staff were pleasant but short. The Dr focused only on my vision except for asking my last a1c results. The retinal scans were not performed. I checked out and received my Rx. I was asked if I wanted to schedule my follow up and I said no. There were a lot of people talking around us at the time so I may have missed part of the questions but I also have been diagnosed with early onset dementia and I did tell all of the techs I came in contact with about it. I left the store and when I got home I had a notice of a scheduled appointment. I called the store to have it removed and was chastised for not understanding what I was supposedly told at checkout. I asked about a refund for the retinal scan because it was not performed and was told absolutely not all fees are nonrefundable. So I definitely feel scammed. Charge me up front for a service that is not performed and refusing a refund feels like a shady business practice. read more

The technician had just smoked and was placing things on my face with her nasty cigarette hands it felt so unsanitary to be touching my face by placing things on it with the smell on her hands. Be very careful if you're paying out of pocket. I was quoted a certain price, on the phone, for an exam. I specifically asked, "so that will be my out the door cost?" to which I was told yes. When I arrived for my appointment, I was presented with the amount I was quoted, on the phone, plus other fees, nearly doubling the amount.
