I just went here to get my F150 vacuumed and detailed with the titanium interior cleaning. I sincerely regret doing it. I had an issue with ants and I had to use a bunch of ant poison to kill the ants and as a result, I needed a deep cleaned before I drove back home for a 3 1/half hour drive when I left, I left with more ants in my chair than I did coming in, which is saying something they missed multiple areas in my doors and completely neglected cleaning parts of my car not even opening certain doors, I will never bring my car there again an absolute waste of $60 if you want something done right do it yourself. as I am driving home ants are falling off of my roof onto my windshield meaning not even the exterior wash got the ants off. read more

I received 50% off for any car service. I chose the $26 Titanium Wash. I paid for it online before arriving. Needless to say, I DID NOT get the Titanium wash! I received a basic wash, no tire shine or anything else. I wish I would've gotten out to look at my car before leaving. Now I cannot get anyone on the phone. UGH! read more

Started out well but ended unruly and with poor performance!! Paid for the Titanium wash and at best I received the basic!! Some staff are knowledgeable about the operation of a vehicle then some are not. Witnessed a staff member literally jam my transmission into gear and when I questioned him he was indignant towards me. I was unaware of the rating before going but now that I see they have a 2.3 for 74 reviews I totally understand. Lost my business and I would suggest patrons go elsewhere for a wash. You will not receive the money spent. Poor vacuum poor window cleaner poor tire cleaner all around poor performance. Stay clear.! I've had the unlimited car wash membership for several months but always went to the other location because it was more convenient. I'd heard that the 280 location offers an interior service for an extra $10 for members but I'd never done it. The staff was SO nice. Like, made my day nice. For those wondering, you pull into the "interior" spot and they scan your membership tag, ask if you'd like to add a tip, and run your card for the additional $10. You leave your keys in the car and wait in the lobby while they vacuum, run your car through the wash, and wipe it down. Once they're finished they call out the make of your car and you retrieve it from them. There was also someone in the lobby helping to facilitate that which I appreciated! I tipped them $10 but honestly I wish I'd done more. They did SUCH an amazing job. My car wasn't super clean to start - dirt, hair, etc... and it looks spotless now. They put a few belongings that had fallen under the seats neatly on the passenger seat (including a credit card I'd lost the day before!). I realized halfway through that I'd left a dried sprig of lavender on my dash - a sentimental memento - and resigned myself that they had probably tossed it thinking it was trash. I was so thrilled to see it tucked neatly in my visor on my drive home. I cannot recommend this place enough. I went right when they opened at 8AM on a Saturday and it took about half an hour from start to finish. It's a wonderful service at an incredible value and I can't wait to come back. read more

Worst car was ever. Tried to charge $22 for a wash and $22 to use their vacuums to do an interior clean. Never have I been to a car wash where after paying $22 (the car was not even clean after the wash!!) for a wash did I also have to pay to use the vacuums. Terrible service, rude employees. read more

I see all these bad reviews and see how some people are treating the employees at the car wash...I see why they have bad experiences. If you wanted to be treated nice then you have to treat them nice too. 10/10 service every single time I go, even free add-ons sometimes. My car ALWAYS comes out clean and without flaw. I have been to this Mr Car Wash location on Highway 280 many times. I go to this location because it's close to where I live, and there are few (if any) coin operated quick car washes at gas stations along 280. I have to say, this place is terrible. Even mid morning on a weekday, the wait is over an hour. This is very consistent. I'm not sure if there are staffing issues, or what the deal is, but you can plan to wait a long time for a pretty mediocre car wash here. I went to get my car washed today at Mister Car Wash and arrived around 5:15. After sitting a few minutes, Tabby approached my vehicle and told me I would have to wait 45 minutes to 1 hour. I told her I do not mind waiting. She then said, "We close at 6:00 and may not be able to clean it before we close, and that Saturday is their busiest day." There were 2 lanes that were vacuuming the vehicles with 3 cars in each lane. I asked Tabby if I could speak to the manager and she informed me she was the manager. I informed her this is poor customer service. If your store is open until 6:00, you should take care of the customers if they come in before 6:00. Just because you close at 6:00, it does not mean you refund the customer, send your employees home, and tell the customer to leave. Tabby, I hope this business process will work out for you in the future, but I will be going to Anthony's Car Wash in Hoover from now on. read more

No public vacuums? Only employees can use the vacuums. Weird. Most car washes have vacuums you can use immediately after your wash... Not Here you have to pay them separately to have them use their vacuums. Weird of this franchise to do that. read more

DO NOT USE MISTER CAR WASH! MONEY ACCIDENTALLY LEFT BEHIND (while not in plain sight) DISAPPEARED FROM MY CAR YESTERDAY around 3:20 pm. I was still in the car drying line when I immediately noticed it was gone. I never left the parking lot! I reported it to the manager and he told me they weren't responsible for anything. While they have cameras...I was not allowed to view the footage. I was told I would have to have a subpoena. I called the police to file a report. While I was waiting for the police to arrive, I started looking at reviews for Mister Car Wash. I found that people had reported valuables taken from their car and yes money...stating that the workers were not trustworthy.There seemed to be common occurrences. My son told me of a friend whose wedding ring went missing and it was hidden away in his car. I was sickened to the point that I felt even more compelled to file a report. I didn't want this to happen to anyone else. At around 5:40 pm the person serving as manager told me that they would be closing at 6:00pm and if the police had not shown up by then he would be leaving. Fortunately, the police did show up about the time he was telling me. I filed a report and took a card that had the district manager's phone number listed. I text the district manager to the two numbers listed and never received a response back of any kind. Very disappointing. This morning around 10:45 am ... I still had not heard from the district manager. I decided I would return to Mister Car Wash and try to talk to the district manager in person. She was there. I spoke with her concerning the incident. During the conversation, I was told that they were not required to run a background check on their workers. I was shocked! My advice would be to stay away from any Mister Car Wash. I clearly feel that they do not care and just wish I would disappear as if it never happened. I am posting this to inform others about them not screening workers and in hopes that this nightmare won't happen to anyone else. I am praying that they will do the right thing and reimburse my loss. So you're tired of looking at your dirty car? Tired of going through the carwash then having it rain the next day? Wishing there was a way for you to spend $1 a day to be assured that your car was always clean? Then this is your spot. Here's what I do. Go to this place, give them a card number, sign up for a monthly wash package, then drive in any time you want, as many times as you want, and never look at your dirty car again because it will always be clean. I think I pay around 30 bucks a month, and since I pass it every day, I can just pull in the moment just 1 rogue bird decides to target me in traffic and immediately have it cleaned as though it never happened. What about the inside of the car? Well, if you get the wash package, the outside will always be clean, on on those days where you need to get the inside done, you just pay a little more depending on how clean you want the inside to be. I wanna say its 8 bucks or so and they'll vacuum it, clean all the insides of the windows, do the floor mats and if I'm not mistaken they do the wheels by hand and get every last speck of dirt cleaned right off. For just a little more, I think 20 bucks, you can get the "final touch", which basically puts your car back into the state that it was in when you picked it up at the dealer. So with the package you can wash the outside every day if you want, and when the inside is dirty you can get that done too at a steep discount. I've been coming here for a year or so, and they're always quick, efficient, friendly and they always do a great job. It's really impressive to see how they can handle hundreds of cars a day and the whole place just moves like a machine. Really good execution. They also sell a variety of air fresheners and other assorted things like that, and they've got free popcorn for while you wait. There are plenty of places to wash a car around town, but none who offer what they offer here. For $1 a day or so your car will never have a speck of dirt on it, and once a month or so you can get them to clean the inside as well. I don't see how that's not worth it, and I've done it enough times to know that there's no catch. Great people, great service, great price, hard to find another place that even offers to do the same job. 5 stars. read more

I was giving them one more chance....Unless you get the really expensive one, the quality on the basic option that includes interior is so low. Lifted the dirty mats to vacuum underneath (which wasn't done well). I left straw papers and paper napkins on back floor because they could be vacuumed. They didn't. Windows weren't done. I have mixed emotions about writing this as I do feel for the price they do a decent job at cleaning cars. Unfortunately, the last time I was there they put a dent in my new car. I was told I would hear back from them and that they'd review the video surveillance. I was then told 'it looks like a buggy hit your car' as he is wiping the scuff mark off my newly washed car. Needless to say, I never heard back from the manager. When I contacted corporate, the manager wrote in his claim that he denied the incident to me and it was a buggy.... nice. Currently on 50 minutes at this facility and my car has still yet to go through the wash. Along with the same other eight cars i have been staring at. Honestly comical the speed at which they are not vacuuming/moving/cleaning cars. One girl texting the whole time. Other employee literally putting in active action to move as slow as he did. I have been customer for many years there, when Mike Osborn opened it, it was good operation, a fellow named Dennis was a manager there, there were days when they did over 500 cars in a day and still did decent job! Today it is terrible and I think I will be cancelling my monthly membership that I have had for many years. Today I get in Express line to get a quick was and am behind someone who can't read the signs I guess, sat there for 3 min. waiting, gal comes over to explain and sign the person up. I have been using this car wash for close to 30 years, and today might be the last. I can only assume that they changed management based on the appearance of the facility and the change in employees. For starters, the outside of the car on both sides is still dirty, the backseat middle console was totally forgotten, my passenger seatbelt was pulled out of socket, and my windshield wipers were not reconnected. When I turned them on this evening to clean my windshield, both blades flew off. To say I am livid, is an understatement. I am supposed to leave town first thing in the morning, but instead I have to go to Mister Car Wash to at least have my windshield wipers reattached. By the way, I have never written a negative review of any business, even when disappointed, and I don't love doing it now. I will update tomorrow if they rectify my problem. read more

The service is abysmal. Staff are rude. And according to the police, in 3 weeks in July 2022 alone they had 8 reports from customers of theft by employees. They'll even go through your glove box and loose change containers. The manager will not do anything about the multiple theft reports. I can only assume that the manager is in on it. Who knows? Pretty good value for money. Last was, I had to return as my car exterior not completely clean. To be fair it was very dirty when I arrived but I did pay $35 for the platinum package to get a thorough cleaning. Return trip was better and no charge. I have been using Misters for YEARS. They have always done an excellent job. After reading reviews, I am not sure why people are leaving negative reviews. Mister has always vacuumed your car.. FOR YOU! That's depending on your membership and such. They have been under construction for about a month or so, so yes the vacuums aren't up currently. The staff is SUPER friendly. Never one time have I felt rushed or anything. The car wash didn't leave my car wet or look half done. Left the lot shining with a nice wax. Some of the reviews are expecting a $200 detail wash for $25-$30. I am very picky about car washes but they did a great job. Been a customer for 10+ years!! Update! The vacuums are back and running! I have a membership and was so excited for the vacuums to be back up. They treated my car like one of theirs! Super clean inside and out!! read more

Went in and got the premium interior wash package. Outside is done and looks alright but they didn't even seem to touch the inside except for a light vacuum if that. The smudges and dust on my dash were left untouched by the workers even though I specifically got the package with a dash wipe/wash. No fragrance came within even a mile if the inside even though I was asked by them if I wanted it. Just seems like lazy work overall and not worth even the tip I left for the workers. read more

Stay clear of Mister Car Wash ... especially Vestavia, Alabama location! The service and quality were absolutely terrible! I am not a hard customer to please and I'm not that picky, however the quality of interior cleaning and exterior wash was unsatisfactory. I paid $34 , plus prepaid tip of $5 (the attendant collecting payment as you enter was very pushy about adding a tip). Thus, for almost $40, I got totally ripped off. When I went to Mister Car Wash, it was during a weekday and mid afternoon. The car wash was not very busy and there was plenty of staff on duty. When my car was ready, I couldn't believe how dirty it still was and it didn't even look like it had been vacuumed at all or interior wiped down. I nicely asked the attendants if they could vacuum the car a bit better and I pointed out some of the worst spots on inside and outside of car that needed a bit more attention. The attendant did a quick half-hearted attempt at wiping a few things down, but did not revacuum car. I had to send the car back three times, and each time, it hardly looked liked they did anything. I honestly was not being that picky ... and simply wanted a reasonably clean car. I've never once in my life had to send my car back a second time at any car wash, nor had to ask that the car be vacuumed some more. After asking the third time to vacuum more and wipe the visible dried dirt (from my shoes) from the door threshold on driver's side, I realized that I was going to still have to take my car to another car wash and pay to get it cleaned. I left Mister Car Wash and went to Marc 1 Car Wash in Hoover where I paid another $20 , but did get a reasonably clean exterior wash, and interior vacuumed and wiped down. This occasion was my first experience in using Mister Car Wash, but I will never return to any Mister Car Wash location again! read more

I paid $35 for the platinum wash. The exterior guys did an ok job. However, the interior guys stunk. I have an SUV and when I pulled down to the vacuum area, I asked one of the retailers to make sure they vacuumed the back of the SUV. I should have checked on their work before I drove off the lot. My front floor mats were turned on the wrong side, & when I pulled them up to reverse them, the floor was dirty, on both sides of the car. Did they vacuum the back of the SUV? Of course not. The vacuumers should be fired for doing a piss poor job. I'm going back to Anthony's. Mister car wash is a joke. read more

When I tried to correct the problem, they would not let me pay more to get the service I wanted. I had to either use the card or abandon it. A complete waste of time and money! You'd do better to use a gas station drive through as they no longer provide reasonable level of service. Not only was my car left wet for the most part but the wheels weren't done even though I paid for full service. When I asked about why they didn't do this and that, every response was, "corporate doesn't want us doing that anymore." They didn't even take the time to take out the floor mats when they vacuumed. 7/24/2020 I went back today to try and see if maybe the management had changed or possibly something had changed but this place is actually worse than last time I went there.
