I came here about two weeks ago for a car wash. Auto Oasis in on Lorna Road. This is by far the best experience I've had at a car wash! The young man working that day truly went above and beyond to make sure my first wash at Auto Oasis was exceptional. The wash was good and the vacuums worked well too. He even helped me dry off some of my car and also cleaned my floor mats. I highly recommend this place! read more

Stumbled upon this place while getting an oil change nearby. I saw they had a 1 free wash coupon and decided to give it a try. All the employees were so incredibly friendly. While using the vacuums, a lady came around and dried off my car with a towel, and when I mentioned I had a lot of dog hair to vacuum up, she went out of her way to go get a little carpet tool for me to use to make it easier to get it our of my mats. I was super impressed by the level of customer service and will definitely be back, and my husband plans to go soon as well! read more

I have only used the tunnel at this car wash. When I started going there, it was $10, and I was pleased with the results. In the last 6 months (?) the price has gone up to $15, and the first thing I noticed was that my car still had water all over it when the machine was done. I don't mean just a few drops on the rearview mirrors, but all sides, and all glass. So, if you go for the tunnel, take a towel so you can finish drying your car out in the parking lot. Otherwise, by the time you get home there will be dried water spots all over the car. read more

I use this car wash at least once a month so I don't have to converse, it's a self service car wash. My vehicle comes with free car washes and it's not even a half mile past this car wash. I went here on Monday & the manager walked up to me saying "my people think your mean" I'm like what people? He said his employees, so I said what do they want from me, a conversation??? He walked off. I continue to vacuum my car out & I see him talking with another employee also telling me to leave! I spent $20 and didn't even get to finish my vehicle!! Every time I go there, it's another group of people working there. They go through employees every other week. I'm just confused as to when I'm suppose to conversation with people that I have no interaction with except them telling me to pull forward. I own 8 cars & all of them go there. I own the property that's up against this car wash. I should have gotten a refund since I couldn't finish vacuuming my car & the wash doesn't even touch the back of my truck. I'm just passing through this area on my way from Massachusetts to Texas, but they are expecting a snowstorm in South Carolina tomorrow and were pre-treating the roads today. So my car was covered with salt film when I checked into my hotel here. I looked for a nearby car wash and found this place. Wow, were they good! They took a lot of time scrubbing off the salt and others extremely dirty spots before sending me through the automatic car wash. The car looks great outside and it only cost $8 for the service. Great in and out car wash! Upon entry, cones will direct your route to the drive thru wash lanes. If you're used to vacuuming first, no worries... we'll get there. As of yesterday, there were three price points... $10, $20 and $30. All that I was seeking during my visit was a $10 wash, which was quite comprehensive. I'm really not sure what could've added up to $20 more worth of value. Of course after selecting $10 you're offered a few extras for $3 a piece. Again, not sure what would come with a $30 wash but it MUST be amazing. Before going thru the wash, an attendant came out and rinsed/scrubbed some hot spots for bugs and other tough stains around the bottom of the car. The wash itself was smooth and definitely not rushed. The process probably took 2 to 3 times longer than any other drive thru wash I've been to. After making it thru, the vacuum lot is basically a roundabout with a mat vacuum on an island in the middle. Vacuums have great suction but the shape of the nozzles isn't the greatest. The mat vacuum is a bit different as you actually hold on to your mat the whole time instead of letting it completely feed thru the machine. The vacuum lot is a bit tight and I can't imagine how tricky navigation might be if this place gets slammed with business. Great wash (even at the $10 level)... I'll be coming back! read more

I think I would have probably gone with 4 stars had I not done any kind of additional services. The regular car wash I opted for was the simple $10 wash. They do have multiple price points that range upwards of $30 as well as a monthly membership that can be purchased, again with different price points and services offered. Simple enough to figure out. The staff is friendly and walks you through what you need to be doing, however if they aren't there, they have signage everywhere telling you what you need to be doing (Car in 'N', foot off brake, don't touch steering wheel, etc). I did an additional service of a wheel polish, and this is where I would lower them a star on the rating. The additional service is done by hand and is done very quickly with less than 100% effort to ensure that it is done well. Once I was through and cleaning out the inside I saw that there was still several dirty spots/smudges on the tires. At this point it isn't worth trying to go back and get this taken care of. Note to self, stick with just the regular wash. Once your car has been through the wash and the auto dry is complete you pull around to a bay of vacuums that can be used for interior cleaning. What I do like is there is an abundance of vacuums and there is one on each side of the car. Makes it real easy to clean out both sides. Plus suction pressure is overall pretty good! Gets most things in one pass. I would return here again, but would opt to not add any additional services. read more

My car was so disgusting when I pulled in. It had some really tough grime on it. When I pulled up to the kiosk, I was greeted by a lovely gentleman who asked what I needed. I told him that I needed some heavy duty cleaning. He smiled. Helped me pick out the kind of wash I wanted, and then gave my car a great scrub before sending it through. Did it get all the nooks and crannies of my car? No. It was only a $30 wash, but it was great for the price. Not for a full clean, but just want I expected and great service! read more

I love a clean car - inside and out - but I prefer to pay a low price of $7-$10 dollars for an outside clean and then use the vacuums provided to clean the inside. I went to Oasis this past weekend and received the $10 wash which includes the generic clean along with tire shine, rain resistance, etc. I was very pleased with how my car looked after it was cleaned. I used the vacuums after the outside was cleaned and although I cannot complain too much since I have fabric interior (ugh), the only thing I think that could be improved is the suction of the vacuum I used; it could have used a bit more suction to really clean everything. Oasis also has the car mat cleaner which is really nice! The facility was very clean and they also had a "vending machine" full of items for cleaning your car which is something I have not seen and was a neat touch. I will definitely be back! read more

There was one car in line with me. I paid for the $20 was with bug buster as always. The employees are always nice however the car wash does a half way job. This is twice I have had these results. Mirrors don't come even close to cleans and wheels always look as if the machine does not touch them. What gives?? This used to be a great wash. read more

I am amazed by this place. My car is white and I had hundreds of dead bugs on the front of my car and my windshield. The guy running the car wash (I cannot remember his name sadly) was incredible and scrubbed my car for over 5 minutes getting the bugs off and it literally looks brand new. Hands down Oasis is the best car wash in Hoover! In fact, after testing Anthony's and Maxclean car washes I noticed this place is a level above the rest! Why? Without question its all in the equipment. After conducting research I found out they are among the industry's best! And when it comes to a big investment such as my car, I only want the best to clean and protect it! Wheels cleaned, bugs washed away, and superior overall wash (without scratches) ... now that's an experience I appreciate! Finally before I forget, The pre soap guys did a thorough job of prepping my SUV. At the end of the day I believe the Oasis's only flaw is that there needs to be more than one mat cleaner available and should invest in the kind that uses more water to clean mats (like the ones at Anthony's) All in all, Oasis is the place for me to get more bang for my buck! read more

Took my Mom's car to this location to get it cleaned up for her. Halfway through the wash, the a/c stops working. Brought it to Lucky Truitt's attention and his first reaction was not only disbelief but also accusatory that I was running a scam. Maybe it's just 100 degrees today, and I don't like the fact that I'm going to have to spend money to fix a car that was damaged in your wash. Lucky Truitt has no idea how to handle people, and I'm shocked he has held this position/location for as long as he has. Remove the problem itself from the equation and look at it from a Customer standpoint. I addressed a problem and he shouted at me in his parking lot and treated me like a criminal for pointing out that this Lexus was damaged in his wash. Lucky proceeds to tell me that no car has ever had water in it from this wash. You know who the most dangerous type of person is? The one that feels that they know everything and cannot make mistakes. That is where the learning stops. Definitely would not take your car here, the wash may be ok other than this incident, but the person leading this group has no idea what he is doing. Off to take this car to Lexus and see how much it's really gonna cost me for choosing this wash. read more
