This place is a total rip off. It used to be so much cheaper for better quality and now it's more expensive for lower quality. The air hose to vacuum barely sucks the dirt especially the one on the corner right after you get out of the wash by the wall. They used to have a blower to blow off excess water AND people to towel dry at the end of the wash and now, there's only a blower and they want to charge for towels for YOU to dry your car. They are not free!!! So if you don't pay for a wash pls be considerate of the paying customers. We want to use the vacuums also. The employees there don't need to come tell you the vacuums aren't free, there's signs everywhere that say so. Or if you are using them without paying for a wash, then vacuum out fast and go! Don't go in there making a mess and vacuuming out glass also and paper towels and god knows what else. I've used Mister Carwash many times, but I will never use them again. On Dec 20, 2020 the car wash broke my side mirror and refused to pay. I notified the manager on site (Jacob Polmanteer) so the logged the case and took pictures of the damages. He said that he would call me back after he completes his investigation. After trying to contact him several times, he called me back and said that the housing of the mirror was weak so it was not Mister Carwash's responsibility that the mirror broke. He basically said that it was not their fault. Does this make sense? When I went to the car wash, my mirror was working and was fine. After I left the car wash, it was broken. They should pay to fix my mirror since it wasn't broken when I got there. That's poor integrity and customer service to blame the customer . How can a business with millions in revenue not attempt to compensate the customer? The video clearly shows that their machine broke my mirror. They didn't even offer a free car wash or anything. I asked for a copy of the video they used to do their "investigation". Mister Carwash would not release the video of the incident. They gave me a corporate number to get the video but corporate said they would only release it to my insurance. .....so now i have to call my insurance. What gets to me is that I drive my kids in that car and I can't see oncoming traffic on the right side now. Every time I drive my car, I have to physically turn my entire head to make sure there's no oncoming traffic. That's dangerous. I've been using this location for over four years with the monthly pass. Some time in the last year, they stopped keeping track of who was next in line. All the gates open as soon as possible, and there's no way to tell who's next. Several washes I received were missing half of the steps, because someone else in line got my full-service wash. The only way to get help is to leave, U-turn twice, get back in line, and try to get someone's attention. If there's a line, this could take another 20 minutes. They have 15+ vacuum bays, but only one or two are actually ever being used for vacuuming. The last time I was there, it was hard to get out of the wash because so many people were backed up trying to get to a vacuum slot. There were people detailing their cars in most of the bays, using Armor-All on their tires, etc., so there was no way to vacuum. I cancelled my pass last week, because they weren't providing what I was paying for. read more

This has been my go to location for the last couple of months. I have the unlimited wash membership and being in Houston with construction and unpredictable weather it's a MUST! Last week this location was closed for remodeling/upgrades. I went back this week after it reopened assuming it would be even better. The upgraded vacuum system is AWESOME but unfortunately the wash was highly disappointing and had never been this way before. I hope this gets fix UPDATE: They were transitioning and upgrading their drive thru lane to make it more automated and completely eliminate people drying your car the the end. The new blowers are very good and you can almost say you have a full dry. Not always completely aligned since it feels like one side the spinning brushes get closer than the other side. read more

I am in shock at Mister Car Wash, starting off with the loading I have worked in car washes in the past and there was no sense of direction of loading until I was on the tracks. That is not safe and not how it should be done. Next with the vacuums, literally NO suction at all so good luck! They don't offer towels or spray bottles for interior cleaning. So I will have to either go pay for another car wash or do it myself at home. Literally the smallest place for vacuums and people either leave or wait and create a line to be able to park and vacuum. This place is a pretty good place for a quick, fairly priced wash. The wash can be a little less thorough for the basic one though if you have bugs, etc on your car. The guy up front directing confused me when I was driving up to the belt. I've had tons of similar car washes and never had a problem, but his directing made everything way more confusing. Otherwise, the guys at the end who wipe off the last droplets were super nice, and the vacuums spots are pretty vacant even on a weekend. My vehicle was damaged in the process of being washed. The car was not cleaned after the wash. My front hood was completely damaged due to negligence and safety procedures not being followed. Cars are not checked properly before entering the car wash and safe distance is not checked before the next car enters. In result, my vehicle was damaged and the manager refused to resolve the situation. Worst service ever!!! read more

The vacuum is not actually free. Prices have gone way up in the past few years which is ironic considering they have done away with several features. I don't know why you would raise pricing while offering less. If you receive damages to your vehicle, they seem to suddenly become deaf and blind with no intention on helping fix the damages. You can't go wrong with the fastest and easiest car wash in this area of Houston. The machines work, it's fast to go through during lunch and most important the machines don't do any damage to your car. For $12 for a basic wash, what's not to love about this place. read more

Zero stars. Damaged my vehicle and failed to take responsibility for their faulty machine. My car looked better before going to the car wash. This incident has cost $300 -$400 in damages. My car is in great condition and the manager blames the incident on my car. Use this car wash at your own risk. I will not ever return here again. Mister is THE name in Houston car care. Plenty of price/service options for every customer. Never had a problem with one of their employees, and they're always happy and helpful. This location is one of the smallest I've been to, and can be over crowded on Saturday. Recent "renovation" has improved the exterior some, so there's that. Highlight: second tier package comes with a complimentary wash within 7 days of first wash (must have receipt). Downfall: the vacuums are not great (some are even broken) and there's usually a wait for the working ones. Tip: actually tip the towel workers at the end of the wash if you are satisfied with their work! Good location, could be better, but my expectations aren't high for Stafford. read more

i went thru this mister car wash a week ago ( march 22, 2019) and as my car was exiting on their automatic wash track i noticed my rear wiper blade had been pulled off and the wiper arm had been bent and broken. for some reason their employees dont use masking tape anymore to hold the rear wipers down, as they had been in past years. i immediately notified their manager. they took pictures and a report. after almost a week i called and left a voicemail, because no live person answers their phone. i called again 2 days later and no one has bothered to call me back. dont bother risking having your vehicles damaged here ! ill be cancelling my monthly membership too! read more

My wife and I usually park our cars side by side, but for some reason, the birdies like to poo on my car more. With a dozen birdie poo graffiti on my car, it was time for a wash. This carwash used the drive yourself through the wash tunnel system. I paid $7 for the basic and lined up my car in front of the tunnel. an attendant hosted the front and back windshields with detergent before the fun began. After about 5 minutes, I reached the end of the tunnel and where 2 attendants dried my cars with towel. Now I drove up to one of the shaded car port where free strong vacuum machines were available for use. Overall I was satisfied with the car wash for such a reasonable cost. Read the reviews and was exactly as what I expected. On top of what folks reported, you can clean your rubber floor mats. Super soapy suds, car was pretty clean and you can spend all the time you want to vacuum the car.
