Let's start with the definition of insanity- yep- that's me. I said to myself months ago "never again", but life has been so so busy lately and I thought- well- I will take it by and maybe paying top dollar (top dollar for Mister Car Wash) at the ole car wash it will be taken care of. Maybe saying to the young man I dropped it off with to "please make sure it's done well" and his response being "yes sir it will be" allowed me some confidence. I love my CLS450 and she needed a cleaning. What was I thinking- WHAT WAS I THINKING?? Vacuum- pressure wash the mats- clean the car. I probably could have done a better job myself and saved $60 bucks- plus $20 tip. Marks all over the car, half ass vacuum job, mats didn't look like a single drop of water came close to them, dirty dashboard. I guess when she rolled out of the wash and down to the hand cleaning area that when it was there for 5 min it wouldn't be done properly. I mean, I know it's hot outside but there is a canopy and it is their job, right? Usually when they are cleaning the interior it takes a good 15-20 min- this time- 5 min. So they ran it back through and even the manager was like "yeah not the best job". This time- NEVER AGAIN. I mean it this time! Customer satisfaction is in the toilet- no one cares much at all. Don't use the bathrooms! I arrived at Mister Car Wash on North Dale Mabry right when they opened at 7:30, only to be disappointed by the state of the bathrooms. They were incredibly dirty and unclean, which was quite off-putting. It was disheartening to see such a lack of attention to cleanliness, especially at the start of the day. I got my car washed and 'detailed' there a couple days ago. When I left, I noticed spots all over the inside and I thought it was because they just didn't wipe it down good enough. When I came back they couldn't get the spots out. They denied it was their products that did that (the spots were there immediately after I got my vehicle back from them). I'm not sure what happened but I think someone accidentally sprayed window spray all over the inside. They then asked me if I drove through sprinklers, which makes absolutely no sense. Why would I drive my car with the windows down through sprinklers... And the spots are all over the inside. They said they will do an 'investigation' to see if the spots were their prior. They basically aren't taking liability for what they did to my car, they completely ruined the whole interior. Get my car washed here almost daily. The quality never disappoints and the staff is very friendly and professional! I asked for Detailing, they informed me they no longer offer those services. However, They still did a good job on the interior. They did a good vacuum, cleaned my windows and gave my nice clean car a towel dry with a spray and returned a shiny, clean, fresh smelling car! Okay absolute WASTE of money!!!!! They didn't do ANYTHING. Inside wasn't wiped down or vacuumed. The outside has spots everywhere and they didn't clean the tires at all!!!! The "scent" that they let you choose doesn't smell of anything. I've never been so upset about a service before. I asked "are you sure y'all are done???" This place was poppin' when I came mid day on a Wednesday. It's love bug season in Florida, so I understand the need for a weekly car wash. There are 4-5 options to pick from in regards to car washes. They also have a membership option, which I turned down until I saw the quality of the service. I picked the 2nd cheapest one, which was $10. While driving away after full service, I noticed the inside front windshield tint was damaged at the top by the rear view mirror, sunroof control panel. I circled back, and the manager came out, pleasantly spoke to me about it, took photos, and stated an investigator would call within 3 days. Today, Pete called to basically say they are not liable, and its the fault of Mercedes. Really, this is a 2020 that's been washed many times, but today's wash ruining the tint, Mister isn't liable. I am giving this rating as a long time customer, normally I get pretty good service, this time, no!! When I arrived, I got the $35.00 cleaning. I then told the young lady that took my money, I needed some extra cleaning as a result of a soda that exploded in my car. My fault, I own it. I was ready and willing to pay for anything extra for the cleaning, she said that it would all be wiped down. When notified my car was done by one of the supervisors, he told me that the soda that exploded was not in the scope of their normal services. He also told me that he asked the young lady who took my money why she failed to tell me they couldn't provide the service I needed and was willing to pay for. She did not respond to him as she knew she never said my car wouldn't be cleaned as I had asked for. The supervisor told me that if I came in in the morning, a deep clean could be done for another $60.00. I asked if that was in addition to the $35.00 I already spent and he said yes. Again, I asked if any considerations could be made, he said no. I tipped more than the customary 20 percent and left. The supervisor was also kind enough to clean off some mascara I got on my headliner and did the best Upon inspecting my car, I found this (picture). I simply have no words for this kind of service. They failed to wipe down the door jams, and a few other things. I want the old owners back!! Corporate buyouts need to remember, it's us the little guys who keep your businesses going. But I'm a member (monthly unlimited exterior platinum washes) and honestly it's so nice to know that this is a clean, well maintained and safe car wash. It's but abrasive on your car like other drive thru washes and the new rolling towel feature was a nice add! I still miss the hand drying from pre-covid. But usually if it's quiet you can pull to the side and borrow a towel or use your own for the pesky areas that are still dripping. If you have an unlimited exterior package it's only $10 to add interior and they do such a good job. You get vacuumed, wiped down, air freshener, windows cleaned and a full car dry. read more
