I paid for the most detailed "supreme" wash, and they didn't even clean the touch screen. The dash was still dusty, and clearly not conditioned. The exterior looked fine. The next morning, I noticedmy windshield wiper was gone, and the base scratched the window when I tried to use them. This is the second time they damaged something in my car and failed to inform me. pulled into this place as my car was overheating so I could put coolant into the car. As soon as I parked this Indian guy "Daniel" decided to walk up to the car threatening to tow it if I didn't move right then and there then proceeded to try and stick his hand into my car like a crazy person. Why 3 stars? Because it's the definition of no frills. --- --- --- It's relatively cheap, it's insanely fast, but you're not getting much more than the bare minimum. After a few failed attempts to get my car washed during the forever storm of 2015, I finally found a rain-less window to get it done. I didn't feel like driving all the way to my normal spot, so I thought I'd give Tropical Car Wash a try. It's not that far from my house, and it looks pretty decent from the outside. My first bit of negativity was finding out that the posted prices for the different types of washes, did not include any work on the rims, which was an additional $5. Seems kind of silly. So I head in and need to use the facilities. The bathroom is so small, you can barely close the door once inside. Not the end of the world - I'm here to wash my car, not use the restroom. But can we maybe blow out a wall and grab a few extra inches in there? Inside the lobby, is the world's saddest vending machine. Out of every single slot, there was a grand total of ONE bag of frito's, and nothing else. You'll also find an artifact, which used to be known as a tube television. But the best part of this experience? My car was done so quickly, that I literally did not believe the guy when he told me. I started to walk outside to see if my car was actually done. It was! The only problem is that I was so shocked to see it finished, that I forgot to actually pay. So I stepped back inside and took care of that. All of my surfaces weren't wiped down or anything, but for the most part, the car was washed. Even the rims looked decent. I thought about going back inside and bitching, but then I remembered that my dog would probably just get everything dirty again, so why be uptight about it? Would I go back? If I were in a pinch. The lady made you feel as if you were a part of the family. Cracking jokes and making you feel welcomed. The workers are out in the sun putting their best efforts. The headlights detail was a last minute decision after seeing a car behind me going for this package and I do not regret it. Ever since I got this car the headlights were yellow and this is just amazing. Oh and if you go for 10 full service wash you get one full service wash for free. I got the hand wash car wash and paid over 40. I was extremely disappointed that the car was still dirty. They tried to say it was the paint but I went home and removed the bugs myself. The backseat was left with dirt and the carpets were left wet. The carpets in the back looked like they weren't touched as well. Mom and Pop car wash which is no frills, but good service. You're not getting a high-end detail job, but you're also not paying for it. I've been taking my car here for a few years and they always do a good job without a long wait. I usually get the 'supreme' wash which includes interior, vacuum, rims and my car looks great after. The rewards program is a nice perk as well, if you get your car washed frequently. The only downside is the waiting area is pretty barebones and has patio chairs and single TV. I was handed over keys for a work vehicle this morning that was disgustingly filthy inside and out. Tropical Car Wash happened to be the closest car wash that came up on the maps. They did a remarkable job for their "all-inclusive" car wash & vacuum - short of shampooing the carpets and seats and washing the insides of the door jambs, etc. they practically did a full detail on the vehicle. They did a good job and I enjoyed the cats that were hanging around but it took 2 hours and there really is nothing around there in walking distance to do. The lounge area is pretty worn and not too comfortable for a 2 hour wait. Fortunately it was a nice day and they did have seats outside. Good thing I had my Kindle so at least could read! I rolled up and told Fay (the friendly "make it happen" person that greets you) exactly what I wanted. She said "OK," and told me the price. Anxiety over!
