Great car wash, but workers need to put more effort into cleaning the windows and tires after customers spend 40plus dollars and a tip!

DO NOT GO HERE! FIND ANOTHER CAR WASH Car is a 2011 bmw x5 diesel with 70k on it. Very well maintained vehicle and full PPF on front end. They will scratch your car and then tell you it's your own fault and that they are not liable. I am now filing a lawsuit with them. For unfaithful business and customer negligence of customer property while under their care. Their brushes will cut your cars paint up and scratch it in a circular motion that Their brushes move in. And mark up your entire car. Marked up all 4 of my doors and even rear bumper. Nothing on front end because car has full PPF This new corporate company that bought cloister is a total joke. they will act different after this suit I'm sure. They will call you all friendly and then say you are a liar and you have to sue us for anything to get anywhere.... they think no one will do it.... They pissed off a guy who will spend 10k to make a point now... I'm 1 step away from opening up a competition. Closest possible to make a point now 1st pic I posted is what they did to my moms driver door. They clearly are not claiming responsibility, told me to get ahold of my lawyer almost gas lighting me...not knowing I'll make a point out of them over the amount of money it costs... I'm sure who ever reads this has already gone there and know they are a bunch of young kids thinking they know it all... and I'm also not the only one this has happened too either.... Watch who touches your car if you have one you care about.... These guys won't! Should loose their busisness license. Let me start by saying this is a traditional car wash. You don't expect to pay $5.00 and get a $50.00 steak at Macdonald 's. So why would you expect a detailed wash and clean that can cost you anywhere between $200-$500 depending on the vehicle? Why would you expect to get that same quality of service for $54.00 at Mr. Carwash? I paid for the highest package and got exactly what I paid for. They did an excellent job. They are always extremely pleasant and try to be accommodating to all of their customers requests. But you can't please everyone. And far as the materials used to service the vehicles, that information can be easily found online given you the option to decide if you want to have your vehicle serviced at Mr. Car Wash. read more

Mister has been my preferred car wash for years. Went on Saturday and waited in a huge line, which was fine. I watched my car pull through the wash to the people outdoors who do the interior cleaning and went outsode to watch and wait. It seems that the quality of the interior cleaning depends on how many cars are backing up I watched the employees spray and wipe every surface in a car before mine. My car was left really obviously and visibly dirty. They rushed. And were busy gossiping. It sucks that I paid $36 for a car cleaning and then had to do much of it myself. They asked what kind of air freshener I wanted and then didn't use any. I miss when Mister offered soda and popcorn while you waited, as well as a store with various air fresheners and other things. I miss being able to get coffee while I waited. While the area is still charming, it offers so many fewer things that made the business stand out for me, and now they don't even do a very good job on the cleaning. read more

Save your money and go elsewhere. I took my car here and got the "platinum" package. I was pretty put off right off the bat, because who asks for a tip up front? I tipped because i assumed id get what i paid for... I get it, it's not a detail, dont expect much. But i would expect basic things like my cupholders, dash etc. to be taken care of at the very least, but i guess that's in an unlisted package. Not to mention the front of the car wasn't even touched. There was "no manager around" at the time, so i submitted a complaint. Only to be contacted almost a week later and told "we would love you to bring your car back down here so we can see the car and make it right" while a nice gesture, id rather not have to do more work, and would prefer my money back. It also doesn't make any sense, to see the job they did, a week later? in a car? that is driven? I was then told that they "cannot refund the money if they cant see the service that was done on the vehicle, and because a service was done, no refund could be given." Pretty comical. Really great customer service.. Won't be coming back here, and you should save your money too. read more

Are you kidding me? You can improve EVERYTHING! The car wash alone does an extremely poor job removing even the slightest surface dirt.......even on the windows! DO NOT ask customers for a tip before their car is ever touched! Would you walk into a restaurant and expect to give a tip for services you have not gotten? I was paying at the kiosk machine for an exterior wash only. Just before inserting my card, an employee walks up and back spaces the screen and had the audacity to ask "HOW MUCH WOULD YOU LIKE TO TIP THE TEAM?!" Not "would you like to tip but instead, how much would you like to tip! I told her I was paying on a machine that doesn't require any assistance from "the team" and driving my own vehicle through an automatic car wash that also requires no assistance. Then I asked her to explain EXACTLY how "the team" would be doing ANYTHING that I would be expected to tip for. Disappointed in the overall quality of the interior clean I received today 10/09/2024. White Honda CRV. This was my first time going to Mister Carwash. Outside of car looks good, my mats look awesome, however, they only cleaned the drivers side of my windshield and dash. My son's hand prints are still on the windshield. Sloppy! Definitely not worth it. After a sloppy wash of my company car I will now head some place else to get it properly washed. A Tuesday morning 930 am visit, no lines, no waiting....why did they have to hurry? I paid for the top of the line and received poor vacuuming, poor wipe down, poor rim cleaning, poor interior. The car wash itself is a very nice facility. The attention to detail is lacking and makes the experience less than it could be. I purchased the top car wash yet no one did anything to my wheels and tires. I was very disappointed that I spent about $50.00 and no one put any detail into the tires. The interior clean was average. I have Weather Tech mats. They were swepted but not cleaned. I think it is a training issue with the staff. Most of the staff looked like young students in high school or maybe college age. The site is very professional looking, but the quality of work was average to below average. They would be very good if more attention to detail and training of what goes into a quality car wash was given to the staff and required by management/ownership. read more

To every customer out there, I would like to say as someone who worked their seeing your ratings and the issues you have are simply because some of that stuff we do not do we are not a detailer we simply wash and vaccum your car we don't wash seats we never did that, you must pay for your mats to be washed so if you notice that your mats are still dirty it's probably because a simple vacuum will not do and you need to pay for the wash, dog hair you do not understand how hard it is getting thick dog hair out especially in the summer time people will go months without cleaning it letting it build up, we are not miracle workers we do our best we hav 2 tools that we use we could scrub so hard till your seats tear and it still probably won't come up I literally sprained my wrist scrubbing so hard trying to get dog hair out of so many cars and broke 2 nails. Please cover your seats if you have pets it's not that hard, and do not get mad at us because we can not get your dog hair out that has been building up for months there is only so much we can do to a car. Air fresheners we mix the solution with water because the smell Is so strong from all the chemicals it will literally make your eyes water im sorry some of them you won't be able to smell strong enough for you because we do that, but for your health/safety we need to, along with the tire shine yes it's there but again we mix it with water because so much comes out it's a safety hazard to much will cause your tires to slip and slide and could cause a accident so we saturate it with water you could always ask for extra when your done we always let our costumers use our products even if you just got the exterior. I'm sorry some of y'all didn't get the full details of it and got a bad experience but I hope this helps newer customers. Also when you buy a certain wash it tells you everything that is included please please please read and ask questions before paying it will tell you everything that comes with it, and if you want something done but you don't see it on there just ask someone we most likely will tell you we don't do it but for first time customers we allow it that one time. Thursdays must be the slacking day for the employees. Last time I used this car wash service, I had mats that weren't clean, dashboard that was still dusty, and back cargo area not vacuumed. I thought I'd try it one more time today. The hatch window was not cleaned at all (inside & outside), 2 floor mats still dirty, gps screen not cleaned, and top of dashboard dusty. I just had the exterior of my car washed at Mister Car Wash on Manheim Pike in Lancaster. I paid $22 for the wash. When I got home, i noticed that there was random spots of grease spread over the entire driver's side of my vehicle, including both tires. This grease was not present before the wash. It took some doing to remove the grease from all the affected surfaces. My husband had a similar experience on his tires the previous week. I used to be a member but cancelled due to dissatisfaction and price point. I thought I'd give it one more try, but never again. You shouldn't have to re-wash a car after just having it cleaned. read more

HORRIBLE! Almost no one in line as it was early morning. Spent $50 and my car is still filthy! Had to ask guy in tunnel to spray my car since covered in bugs etc. Guy was completely put out. Biggest rip off. Cloister was a far superior car wash. These people do the absolute worst job. Spotty areas where they neglected to dry with their cloths, streaky windows, and a nscratch on my door. Terrible service no one greeted my car for about 10 minutes. I got the inside and outside done on my car the outside turned out nice but the inside job was horrible. Wow. Disappointed. VERY overpriced for an automatic car wash. $18 for the "premium." Whole back of our SUV was still dirty. It only washes the car for like 30 seconds. When we showed them, they did have us run it through again, but I would not return here. You can get the same level of wash at an automatic gas station car wash. Conversely, I highly recommend Shrewsbury Wash near the YMCA. PERSONAL service, with a tech using a long-handled brush to loosen front and rear dirt before the wash. I went to this car wash because it's very close to my house, when I got there I realized it was 40$ for an interior & exterior "platinum" wash, a little overpriced but it's fine my car needed it, after I paid my 40 I Decided to make someone's day and leave a 50$ tip, which I definitely should've done AFTER looking at my car. I have no words for this place, I basically paid 40$ for my car to be vacuumed & the outside washed because when I got in it nothing looked to be clean. Go to Apple Carwash!!....I just moved to the east end of york and stopped by Mister! The girl at the front convinced me to get the Premium Wash which included my dash being "cleaned"....my car is basically brand new and I'm headed home to clean it myself because my dash has streaks all over it, there is still dirt on it and I have to wash my windows because they let solution run down the inside and just sit at the bottom of my window!! They also missed a big spot on my dash which is interesting since I paid extra for the dash polish. The person who came to get me when the car was "done" was NOT friendly. Although we came on a busy day it was absolutely RIDICULOUS that it took a solid hour to get my car through. NO ONE working had any sense of urgency from beginning to end!! I wash my truck 2x a week at another car wash. Today I tried this place with regret since I couldn't wash as my normal place. Instead, whoever cleaned it (there were 3 people working on the car) only smeared it around and made it worse than it was.
