Highlights were the pesto mash, which the prawns sat atop, the tuna carpaccio and the smoked salmon. It was beautifully presented and gave us the opportunity to try some things we would never have ordered, like the chopped squid and the fish pancake. We also ordered gnocchi, a salad, monkfish and grilled squid. The service, like most Italian places, was a bit appalling and the slowest we'd experienced anywhere. The order we got the food in was bread, 20 minutes later antipasti, another 20, salad, another 20 the pasta (that we had wanted to share) and the monkfish, another 30 minutes later my boyfriend got his squid. Dear god, we were ready to just ask for the bill, we weren't even sure if some of the food was even coming. It was very hard to understand was they didn't think we wanted the monkfish and the squid as main courses at the same time. The Italians don't seem to understand sharing. The food was fabulous though, worth the wait!

It was almost not good, like a bitter distaste. The grilled fish was the best and pretty solid but not amazing (like a 3.5). I finished with their version of creme brule which wasn't bad. The table bread they serve though, is really tasty. So dinner wasn't all too successful. I've got to try the lunch menu next time.

This was my favorite dish of the evening. Calamari was fresh and light. Not as crispy as we get in the USA but it wasn't as highly battered. The grilled lemons were a great addition, be sure to save them for your dinner. The farro with seafood was well done. It was fishier then many enjoyed due probably to the dehydrated caviar but the grain texture and seasoning was lovely and the shellfish was soft and perfectly cooked. We also had grilled sea bass (not shown) which was fresh and flakey. The dessert made with almond milk was a nice sweet taste to end the meal. Service was spot on, including the wine service. Servers spoke some English which was very helpful. Owners speak fluent English as does the manager. If you are in the area and looking for farm to table definitely give it a try!

We had an 8 course meal, and all of it was great. It started out with dry salami, prosciutto and bread. Then we had sauteed mushrooms in olive oil, crostini three ways, a chopped salad with truffles, awesome, and a mushroom pizzette. Following this we were served agnolotti with truffles, and linguine with mushrooms. Followed by extremely tender steak, cooked to medium rare deliciousness with thick cut french fries, and then we had a light salad to wash it down with thar was tossed in balsamic Italians eat the salad last, I thought that was interesting. During the meal we had both white and red wines, frizzante and natural water. For dessert we had Panna cotta, and another custard like dessert whose name slips my mind. And espresso. To end the meal we were served Limon cello. Following such a fantastic meal I was literally in a food coma. The restaurant had a simple yet elegant decor, and it also happens to be located in Michelangelos hometown. The views at the restaurant are supposed to be stellar, but most of Italy is a postcard, so Im not surprised. However when we dined, it was later in the evening and very dark, so I was unable to appreciate the view. Literally one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. And at only 50 euros it was an amazing deal too
