There's a few stores including; -Jenners -Catherine Kinloch -Misty Glen -Edinburgh Woollen Mill -Thorntons -Julien Graves ...So it's not the kind of place you could go on a shopping spree but it caters for tourists and is a pleasant place to browse. In addition to the shopping centre there's also a Sea Life Centre and if you're looking for some activities then you can hop on the loch for a spot of canoeing or paddle boating. Like Gavin, I find it a little odd that there's a complete lack of place to eat apart from a small cafe attached onto Jenners and a restaurant with the worst looking menu I've ever seen.

Besides restaurants and an aquarium (to which I'll give a pass), they have paddleboats and a "retail crescent." They do offer some legitimate services for exploring the park, such as kayak and mountain-bike rentals. On the upside, the park service has a large visitor center here which serves as a gateway to Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. What I really wanted to do was hike around the vicinity above the lake, since I didn't have time enough in my day to climb Ben Lomond. I got plenty of pamphlets and then got the hell out to drive up the west side of the lake towards Luss.

There is also a fragrance and makeup counter, jewellery shop with a number of designer jewellers, homeware including art and gifts and the food hall is a must; with it's own whisky shop. They also have a range of designer cakes, made to order. Jenners also have a cafe which sells a selection of hot and cold foods and drinks. You can buy at home to collect in-store for free. Order by 10pm for collection next day.

It is a wee hidden treasure trove of shops - (not many, it may be said - which is such a loss) - if more people invested in this place - it would be so worthwhile. The Works Bookshop is fantastic, great books, calendars artist works. Pavers shoe shop is also excellent with friendly staff - across the pathway is the vintage shope which sells the most beautiful hand paintings What a delightful place to visit and such a pity more do not browse amongst its secret gems

Her sprawled out appearance reminds me of these exotic 70s paintings of Amazonian woman with lurid but beautiful painted blue skin and lots of make-up. But enough digressing - Tiny Shiny Things is a wee gem of a jewellery store, and to be hoenst I feel as though its cutesy name downplays the quality of the local designs that they have on offer.They play host to a number of homegrown talent including Sheila Fleet, Tiangus Jackson and the staple of the Rennie Mack collections. Sheila Fleet's jewllery is particularly striking as her simple, bold designs are also very elegant, with their curved contours emphasising their organic inspiration. This shop does sell Tiny Shiny Things but it should be furthering promotion of the amount of talented designers they host rather than whispering about it in a mousy fashion.
