I live out of state and have used Misty's florist several times now to order flowers for my mother on special occasions. They have been easy to work with, always delivered on time and always delivered beautiful flowers. I appreciate that Misty's has a great website that gives accurate pictures and descriptions of their bouquets and that it's so easy to order them online. So many other small local flower shops don't have good websites and you can't order online. The delivery drivers have been perfect as well. My family lives off a main road in a rural area and the house isn't well marked. I try and give good directions but I know it can still be confusing, yet it's been delivered without issue every time. Each time my mom gets a delivery she sends my a picture and it's as good or better than the website picture and the flowers seem to last a long time. I am certainly going to be using this place multiple times per year to continue to send my mother beautiful flowers when I am not able to pick them out and give them in person. I really appreciate Misty's service and business more than I can relate in this review. read more

I went into the Abingdon location and personally ordered my daughter's graduation flowers a week ago. I showed a picture of the flowers that we wanted and was assured that they would be ready today at 10am. When I arrived today at 10am, they were not even started and they did not even know what flowers I wanted. Was met with the following excuses: well I didn't take your order, we've had a busy week, and when I talked to the lady that took my order, she said, I don't remember. My daughter graduates college today and we are on a tight schedule today and were inconvenienced having to wait 20 minutes for our flowers. Very unprofessional and overpriced. read more

Gina worked with me to find the perfect container and arrangement She ensured it was delivered expediently. I have to say when Gina sent me a photo of the final product it was the most beautiful floral arrangement I have ever ordered. I will only use Misty's for my florist needs. As for Gina, she was extremely professional. Misty's is a local shop, which I prefer. I have nothing against a national company where you can order flowers from anywhere to anywhere, but when I can - I prefer to do business with a small local shop like Misty's. This shop happens to be close to where my wife works so that comes in handy for occasions when a fella needs to order flowers to get out of the dog house or back into the house house or what have you. Misty's never tries to upsell me. They are courteous, efficient, and prompt. read more

I definitely prefer having a nicely arranged bouquet delivered, rather than a box filled with flowers that have to then be arranged by the recipient. Any time I've ordered something they didn't have in stock, I've been contacted promptly and was able to discuss a replacement. They've always been pleasant and accommodating. I've taken to ordering the "florists' choice" (you're able to specify who it's for and what the occasion is) and trust that whatever they send will be beautiful and much appreciated. read more

Last minute order for my mom three days before her birthday to arrive during Valentine's week. They didn't quite have what I wanted to order however we tried to make it work over the phone for next day delivery. My mom received her voluptious arrangement next day! Paid extra for a premium pirouette arrangement for over 100 dollars. Picture showed a very tall, beautiful vase for the regular arrangement so I was thinking the premier version would be at least as nice. Instead, the flowers came in a very small, ugly vase that made the arrangement look ridiculously top heavy. Extremely disappointing. However, the person who delivered the flowers was extremely nice and polite and called to let me know he was leaving the flowers on the porch when the recipient wasn't home. I wish there was an option to give 2.5 stars as I feel it doesn't deserve 3, but also doesn't warrant a 2 star review. read more

They did not deliver flowers to my mother on her 80th birthday because they were delivering to funerals all day. This is not acceptable. You cannot put funerals ahead of the living. I will never order from them again! read more

I was supposed to get flowers today, from my partner who is currently serving overseas. When he ordered my flowers, he requested an early morning delivery, was told that would be possible, and his credit card was charged. Long story short - it's 5 pm and no flowers. When he contacted them, they told him that my area was out of their delivery service (although they were given my address when he ordered) and that they gave this delivery to "another" florist. That "florist" hasn't shown up either. He chose to go with them, as opposed to a nationally known service, because they are local. Obviously that was a mistake. We're still waiting to hear if they will refund his money. read more

I've given Misty's Florist multiple tries over the past few years but won't be doing it again. Previously I would order online and inevitably the display always looked significantly different than what I chose, with their promise to match closely clearly not happening. So this time I chose to call and ask if the floral arrangement I wanted could be created and was assured that yes, we have those flowers year-round. I ordered the arrangement with 2 balloons that were supposed to say Happy Retirement (which she specifically said they had). What arrived was not even close to the bright, vibrant, upgraded (deluxe) arrangement I had chosen, had only 1 balloon that said "congratulations". She was in a rush to get me off the phone, clearly didn't get my email address right since I didn't get my receipt, but certainly got my credit card info accurate . My advice would be to go with another florist, this one isn't invested in getting it right, just getting something done and out the door. Very disappointed. read more

ordered two birthday arrangements. Teapot with mini roses were beautiful the day it arrived, the next day drooping and by the third dead. Second arrangement looked like they just took a handful of flowers and stuck them in the vase and tied a piece of ribbon that was too short to even make a bow. I contacted the florist and gave them a chance to redeem themselves. They sent a 3 rose arrangement and another handful of flowers stuck in a vase. I'm sorry, but my expectations for a florist should look professional, not something I could have done myself without training. I truly applaud the willingness to resend flowers to try and make up for my complaint, however I didn't see how it redeemed my expectations for a professional florist. I don't care if you spend $35 or $350 on flowers, they should look professional when flowers is your business. I would not recommend this florist if you want arrangements that look professional. I have a picture I wish I could add to this review but I don't see that option. read more
