Kelvin was very helpful and patient in answering all of my questions and laying out options from good, better, and best. Ultimately, we selected something in the Lennox Elite line. I did a fair bit of research, and it seems the Lennox products are some of the most reliable and they pair their brand with good installers. Our install date was set for about a week out from when we selected our system. We also qualified for 12 months 0% financing which I appreciated. Amanda was very helpful on the phone to get us setup with our financing options--they have a bunch of different ones. Communication was great in advance of our install date, too; they called the day before to confirm. I also wanted to upgrade both of our thermostats because we had basic, non-programmable ones that worked off mercury. Our new setup is digital, programmable, and accessible over WiFi through an app on my phone. This was an important feature for me, and I'm appreciative we found a way to make it work. The crew showed up shortly after 8 a.m. and was finished by 11! It was all-hands-on-deck when we had four trucks here at once. The guys were all courteous and friendly. They did a thorough, neat job, and didn't cut any corners. They added things like float switches and access points to clean the drain lines. Our thermostats are neatly installed, and they took time to show me how to work them. All the old equipment was hauled away; they initially forgot a piece that had been set aside in our attic, but they came right back to take it away. Now it's only February, and it's only been a few hours, but the new system certainly looks nicer outside and was noticeably quieter during the testing time we had it running. I hope to squeeze a little more life out of our downstairs system, but I won't hesitate to call Oak Grove H&AC when it's time.

Turns out the overflow pan up in the attic had filled and the drain line was clogged. The technician was nice, answered every question and the invoice was extremely reasonable! Honestly, I can't believe I am having to deal with this situation. I have never received such poor…read moreservice and indifference from a company in my life. I purchased a new unit less than 2 weeks ago. The salesman, Joseph, made many promises, none of which have been kept and now my unit does not work at all. It is likely a small issue with the install, electrical, etc... Doesn't matter. This is a $20k unit, and yes I overpaid. I knew it was too much, but I assumed paying a premium would get me premium service - the opposite has happened. I'm on the 2nd day of no A/C and it's 82 degrees today. They have failed to show up THREE times as of right now. I have taken off work and canceled plans to be here, and apparently, they were not even going to tell me they were not coming. I had to call when the appointment window had passed to find out. They claim to have a 1 year "test drive" period in which they take everything out and refund you, but I have no confidence in anything they say. We are about to find out if that's the truth or not. This situation is pathetic and sorry. To charge so much and to have a grown man stand in my living room, look me in the eye and lie to my face about what I should expect is abhorrent and shameful. They have also worked on my mother's basic residential system, my hot water heater, and some plumbing repairs at both of our houses. At one point I had a home warranty and they even did battle with the home warranty provider to help get work covered. (Home warranty providers do not like covering geothermal systems!)
