The location was very convenient, right downtown just a couple of blocks from the waterfront. There was plenty of on site and adjacent parking for this Parlor which has been here for many years. The Parlor is tastefully arranged and the staff, fantastic. Every need was met and assistance provided every step of the way. They made a very sad occasion much easier for the family and the friends who attended from all over the country.

We provided…read moreTwiford with a DVD of slideshows to use for my mother's memorial and an outline of the service program weeks prior to the mom's service and when it came time to begin the service Twiford's was completely unprepared. The first slide show was not keyed up and ready to go, it took several minutes to get it going, the minister we arranged for had to improvise to make up for Twiford's bumbling failure to execute, when it finally played in played without the accompanying music, the following slideshows played but without being maximixed on the screen so the computer video player controls showed the entire time. Because of Twiford's incompetence my mother's service was less than what it should have been. To top it off NOT ONE PERSON from Twiford's has appologized to me or anyone in my family for their blundering. The inability to run the service is a lack of competence, but no apology is a lack of integrity. You should know this while making your decesion. Good luck in your search for some one to honor your loved one's memory.

They treated the family in each occasion as we were important and didn't go the pushy route so many funeral homes pursue during the grieving process. Thank you for the way you handled all three services. Great-grandmother Holland's service in 1970, Grandfather Smith in 1974, and Grandmother Smith in 2001.
