Being a graduate of Cordova High, Class of Eternal Youth, I remember running laps around the parks's duck pond and enjoying all the shady trees and nature during gym class. The campus is very open and sprawl. Multiple buildings housing difference class subjects , are surrounded by mature evergreens, shady leaf trees, lush green grass, and neatly paved walkways spotted with benches to relax on. It's a good size campus with lots of room for sports activities. I saw a huge base field, football stadium, track, basketball, tennis courts , and more. It's pretty fantastic that the city of Rancho Cordova has such a well maintained campus. I see it as a positive atmosphere where young minds can thrive. Various athletes and media people have graduated from Cordova and moved onto huge success. You know Lester Holt from NBC... yup successful Cordova grad. And you know there's obviously me... :)

I was in a abusive relationship and had a black eye and swollen face and called and told them I wouldn't be at school for a couple weeks. About a week and a half later the counselor called me and asked if I was coming back and I told her yes I will be back on Monday Monday comes around and I call the school saying hey I actually will be back tomorrow and they said I've been dropped for no communication.

No one is a number here. Faculty and staff know students well and are very invested in students' intellectual and emotional growth. This is also the case for all other extracurricular offerings -- Speech and Debate, Athletics, etc. I don't think enough people are aware this wonderful school is here, and that needs to change. Kids ages 2 to 18 are allowed free access to breakfast and lunch even if they don't attend this school. I love how it's across the street from the Splash Pad area and the park so that after the kids eat, you can take them across the street and let them play. The breakfast times start at 8:00am and go until 8:45 and lunch is from 11:45-12:45 and this will be going on until July 26th. These are reasonable times. P.s.- The children do need to sir inside the cafeteria to enjoy their meals, they cannot take it to go anymore.

The rooms are large with decently sized cubicles facing the walls so it feels more private and stays quieter than other testing locations. The equipment is up to date and user friendly. They even offer tutoring to help you prepare for an upcoming test. I took the CSET at a location off Howe where I was not in a cubicle but at a long table with the people on either side of me almost touching me, breathing heavily, and whimpering the entire time. It was very distracting, so much so that I chose a different location for my first CSET. I'm thankful I found this location. I took all 3 CSET subtests here, and will take any other tests I need in the future here as well.

It deserves commendation that this relatively small school has such committed staff and it was evident from the moment you walked into the ceremony. It was evident in their warm greeting as you entered through the doors, their effort to keep the focus on the kids and their families and to the plenty of security personnel present to keep an eye on things. While not a parent of a student (just an aunt) I was moved to write this review because this small staff has raised a large sum in scholarships to provide to their students. The staff is clearly bonded to the kids and it was touching. This year 8 kids rec'd scholarships including the munchkin I was supporting today. It's quite a phenomenal feat to raise these funds and this act shows genuine commitment to their students. Thank you Charter Choices for your commitment to the children.

In my sophomore year I got stabbed almost to death by a random student who brought a weapon. The campus is gross and the teachers are mean (Fuck you Ms. Poladi). Other students were constantly forcing me to try hard drugs. Over all terrible school made me want to kill my self.
