F this guy. He left a message on my voicemail that sounded like the micro machine speed talker and…read morecouldn't understand much of what he said. I tried calling back and was unable to reach him when calling back for several days. It happens. Whatever. He called back and didn't have any idea why he was calling me. I told him why, then, he searched my name and started reading the notes that his staff had left him. I would think he could've done that prior to engaging in any sort of conversation with me. That would be considerate and simply makes more sense than just calling someone out of the blue with no idea of what to lead in with. It showed me that the guy has no attention to detail and is sloppy. That sentiment was further reinforced when he began tearing my case down. I got the immediate sense that he would absolutely NOT defend my rights. He spoke to me like the claims agent of the other guy's insurance company. It was a very odd conversation. He repeated back part I had told him happened and he blurted back that he didn't believe that being folded in half in a broken steal folding chair, could result in the injury that I am claiming. This guy is an expert in this field, apparently. He also told me that since I wasn't blindly following the orders of some money grubbing neurosurgeon that was clearly trying to make more money off of me, by pushing to undergo a risky and unnecessary procedure that I wasn't a surgical candidate. Because, the surgeon wouldn't perform on me unless I went ahead and put $15k in his pocket. I'm pretty sure this attorney isn't a spinal surgeon. Although, he spoke with the confidence of one of the best in the field. He also told me that since I had a previous injury to my spine, that my case was a lost cause, for having a preexisting condition. Now, I am NOT an attorney. I studied for a while to become one. But, guys like this convinced that I wouldn't be in good company. So, I bowed out. But, even I know that there is a concept in law known as broken egg. Just because you had an prior injury does in no way release someone from liability for harming you. There are several ways of going about approaching a fresh injury to an older injury. All it took was a quick google search for personal injury and preexisting condition and I found far more than I got from a conversation with Milligan. I got the distinct feeling that he's one of those lawyers that cherry picks cases. And, I mean, if that's his things, no worries, be an ambulance chaser... do you. But, don't advertise as the guy that takes "the hard cases and does them well", and then proceed to shit all over a person who is looking for assistance from a reputable professional and tell me my case has too many defects for you. When they are simple and common matters to overcome. All of this, of coarse, is my personal opinion. Although, I have been in contact with many attorneys over the course of my life and this guy goes into the bottom of the list of personable, compassionate, solution oriented people I have spoken with, attorney or not. Even if, after dismantling of my claim, calling me a liar, and shitting on my case I wouldn't have hired him, if he had offered to take the case. To throw the cherry on the cake, he hung up on me, after telling him that attorneys like him were difficult to talk to. What a dick.

My experience with this law office is they know what they are doing and they are there to help. I…read moreneeded an attorney ASAP for my moms drug related case in Kings County, I had several consultations throughout the day, trying to find someone and many of the attorneys I spoke with were asking for an astronomical amount of money or gave me an immediate no to anything outside of Fresno. I was beginning to feel defeated until a letter came in the mail with my moms name from this firm, I called, scheduled a consultation at the very end of the day, 4:30pm and Helen took the call. There is a reason this woman has been at this office for over 25 years and let me tell you, SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE IS DOING!!! She was fabulous, she made sure Adam had the availability for the next morning arraignment hearing, she gave me a very fair quote and I signed the contract right then and there. Adam, I heard, was so incredibly professional in the court room. My mom said when he stood up to speak (via Zoom), the whole courtroom hushed to listen. She spoke clearly and explained that he needed to meet with my mom and they extended her pre-trial. Adam is informative, he is incredibly skilled in his understanding of the law. He appears to also be very well known, I made sure to do my research on him as soon as I was told I was going to get someone other than Mr. Taleisnik. The attorneys, their assistants and the woman behind the scenes, Helen, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for all that you have done for my family. I hope you all win Fresno's Best 2026, you certainly deserve it. Thank you.

I cannot thank Martin and Kiley enough for everything they did for my son. They not only saved him…read morefrom prison and a strike on his record. They always answered his calls from jail, went to visit him when needed, and took the time to explain everything to me after each court date so I never felt left in the dark. They even connected us with a psychologist for a small fee, who went to the jail several times to speak with my son and would also call me afterwards to let me know how things went. On top of that, they also brought in a private investigator for an additional small fee. He not only did his work thoroughly but also took the time to call me directly, which showed how much effort the entire team put into helping my son. The entire office staff was always kind and patient, even when I had what probably felt like tedious questions. Helen was especially helpful with the financial side, allowing me to put a portion down and then make payments, which no other lawyer's office was willing to do. It's sad to see when people leave bad reviews, because sometimes it's not that the lawyer didn't do their job it's that the outcome wasn't what they hoped for. Hiring an attorney doesn't guarantee that there will be no sentence. My son still did time, but it was nothing close to what the DA was pushing for. Without Martin and Kiley who knows what would have happened. What really showed me their character was the fact that Martin reached out to me a couple of months after my son's sentencing just to check in and see how he was doing. Then, about six months later, when my son faced another legal issue, Kiley immediately stepped in again to help us through it. Martin and Kiley are not just incredible lawyers, they are compassionate people who went above and beyond to support both my son and me. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone in need of legal help.
