Bought a hedge trimmer from them. A part on the hedge trimmer was cracked. They told me they ordered a part to replace it. I called them for 3 weekends and no part. Horrible customer service. They will lie to you and will not return calls. They did not fix the problem with my lawn mower and charged me for stuff I did not need. When I took it back they kept the machine for 3.5 months and claimed a belt was on back order when the belts are freely available at all big box stores. I finally bought the belt myself and the clowns at the store put it on. I will never use them or recommend anybody else to use this pathetic operation that claims to be a business. read more

They've had my weed eater for over 5 months and still haven't even looked at it. Then they lied and said they were looking at it and would call me. Never did. I have used Mitchell's Outdoor Power Equipment for the past 8 years. They're very reputable and honest. At the recommendation of Brandon, I recently purchased an ECHO chain saw and couldn't be happier. It's easier to start than the auto start STIHL one I had before and does a much better cutting job. Some customers complain that it takes a long time to have their power mowers and equipment serviced but that's only because everyone is going through the same door at the same time. They always do quality work at a fair price, and if you take your equipment to them during the off season, there is little or not wait. read more

These guys are awesome! They were shorthanded and quoted me 6 weeks to have my lawnmower serviced. Less than a week later, they basically rebuilt my entire lawnmower! Absolutely amazing staff! Great Son and Dad shop they've worked on a number of equipment and returned like new! They've even came to pick up and drop off mower after I broke it! Very educated in equipment and landscaping! Can ask them anything and always very helpful! Would highly recommend them! Also bought my first ever zero turn from them and never regretted it sense then! Very informative! This was the first and last time I used their services. Absolutely the worst service I ever have experienced. I brought them my husquvarna weed eater ( which they said they could repair on the phone) and was told it would be ready in 1.5 weeks. After a 2 week period I called to make sure it was ready and was informed that it had not been worked on yet and would be another week. I was frustrated but gave them another week. After another week I called to pick up my weed eater but it still had not been worked on and was promised that it would be fixed in 2 days. I actually waited 3 days for good measure, went to the store and was again told that they had not worked on it, but it would be ready the next day. I walked into the store the next afternoon and was told that they were "still" working on it. After 30 minutes the guy came out and said that it would not crank and a part would have to be ordered. This is where I had enough because I knew full well that they had not tried to repair my weed eater till I walked in the store. When I confronted them about the extreme lack of customer service and lies that were told to me there was no apology or humility. They made it seem that I was an inconvenience to them. DO NOT BRING YOUR BUSINESS TO THEM. THEY ARE LIARS AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS. read more

Let me start by saying that i am not a very picky customer and generally i am lenient when it comes to customer service. However, this business "takes the cake" when it comes to terrible work and service. We dropped off our John Deere to see why the blades were cutting uneven. In fact it was cutting so unevenly that i could not use the mower without scalping the yard. I explained the problem to the mechanic and he explained that "sometimes the deck on those John Deerr's can get bent and then there nothing you can do with them". I understood and informed him that if that were the case i would be okay with his assessment. I did however, ask that he contact me before making any repairs to the mower so that i could monitor how much money was being put into the mower. He responded "of course, we generally like to keep it under $100. This was great news or so i thought. Two weeks later i get a call saying that my mower was ready to be picked up. I assumed that since this was the first time that i was contacted that nothing was repaired because the mower was found to be repairable. Let me be clear, i was still willing to pay just for the knowledge that the mower was repairable. However, when i arrived, a rather blunt/rude older gentleman informed me that the cost was $147. I asked what all was done and he listed off , "aired up the front tire, leveled the deck and changed the battery". I said "changed the battery ?" "Does the mower still scalp the ground?" "Because if it does then why would i need a battery for a mower that i cant use? " Also, it occurred to me later the battery they changed was less than 7 month's old and was in perfect working order when i dropped the mower off. I was confused. I wasn't notified about a battery issue or anything else the entire time they had my mower. He told me that i could go and check and see if it was working okay. I was puzzled. He wanted me to walk outside with two of my children and see if they fixed my mower? He wanted me to see if the mower was still scalping the ground. "Wasn't he supposed to know if they fixed the mower", i asked ? Because if it wasn't fixed, then why the battery? If it were fixed, then why am i the one who needs to see if it has been repaired. Shouldn't someone there know ? The man was unmoved by my line of questioning and simply repeated the price i was t pay. I realized i had no real option. I could refuse to pay and not have my mower or i could pay and potentially still have a mower that didn't work. I paid. I got home and discovered that other than changing the battery, nothing was repaired, cleaned, changed or fixed. The mower still scalps the ground and is unusable. No belts were tightened, the blades weren't sharpened, heck they didn't even spray it off. They simply charged me $147 for a battery i didn't need, to leave a problem that makes the mower unusable and give the most deplorable of customer service in the process. I would not under any circumstance return to this business and i advise you not to either. read more

I left my Echo weed eater to have a very small easy to fix piece on it. It's been there 3 months and it still isn't ready. If you have something that needs to be fixed don't drop it off here if you expect to use it again the same year. I'm going to get my weed eater and fix it myself. I believe they shouldn't take in a person's equipment to be repaired if they can't get it back in a week to 10 days at the most or they should fix it for free. This is stupid ridiculous read more

I left my lawnmower (small push mower)for repair on 4/24. i called after the 3rd week, again 4th week and both times i was told it would be ready the next week. i called again on 5/31and it was not ready. i got a call that it was ready 6/1(the next day). enough said. not sure why it too so long but am thinking it should not have. read more
